mate, your a boss for this video, out of all the niche things i really needed a perspective on you happened to deliver and in great quality both visually and informatively. Top job mate will subscribe to support you. Appreciate you real world perspective and honesty over some of these bigger youtubers who are biased are not quite honest based on offending dewalt or their subs etc. Good Job!!
Hi: is it normal for this sander not to spin when it's not against a surface? I have seen several videos of this model, in which it rotates even when it is not against a surface... In the sound test that you do, it can be seen that when it is turned on it does not rotate but is against a surface... Thanks for the information.
Great question! there are 2 actions that occur during function. A rotation at the given rpm setting and an orbit. Powering on simply engages the rotation while contact/resistance engages the orbit for a more consistent sanding pattern.
Hey I have the same hose (car detailing kit) and the dw4070C ridgid vacuum but when I connect the orange hose to the vacuum itself it makes a freaking whistle sound so badly like a high pitch sound that hurts your ears so bad. Does this happen to you? I’m thinking in returning the it and get a cordless vacuum. Like a Milwaukee or the dewalt itself. Thanks
Thanks for the question, that noise is definitely not normal and sounds like a bad connection check to the hose to vac connection and also check the hose for any cracks that let air leak. If the connection is 100% good from 3 joints: 1. Vac to hose 2. Hose to dewalt adapter 3. Adapter to sander The other possible issue could be an obstruction or clog. Clean out your filter and check to see if any debris got passed the filter and into your vac If its not a connection or obstruction, It's possible your vac may be defective.
Not sure what that means but I hope you enjoyed the video. I try to be descriptive as possible while cutting out as much as I can. I know the internet has a short attention span
What? Video is skippable, he makes it clear what point of the video is in and will be moving to next, skip the safety portion if that’s your issue, some people have no idea what to do with this kind of work all segments of this video were important for somebody somewhere and I think that’s his intentions is to cater to ANYONE
@deckhaunters2441 the reason I "talk too much" is because I have to assume anyone who comes across my videos have never held a hammer let alone used power tools. If I assumed everyone was professional I would just make 30 second clips. Appreciate the support deck, some people don't have much of an attention span so if there's no explosions or boobs on the screen that focus drifts

Sick shades bro! Very dope of you to share the tips of safety in not only precautions, but gear as well.
No problem! Caution leads to confidence B)
