Cat Names That Are Always Great at an Animal Hospital - Part 2

- Cat names are seriously the best. It’s a straight fact of the world. And it’s actually a cat law that if the cat distribution system grants you the gift of a murder mitten kitten, you must bestow upon them a truly spectacular and worthy name!
My daughter found a kitten that had been thrown from a car. We thought she was dead or dying when we stopped to check. Rushed her to the emergency vet expecting they would not be able to save her. My daughter named her Squished Penny. She is a happy very much alive cat now.
Squished Penny is... an absolutely crazy name. But hearing that a kitten had been thrown from a car is disgusting. I'm so happy she survived and is in a happy and safe environment with you and your daughter!
Which part became the nickname?
@@ikari66662 we mostly call her Penny. Everyone expects a copper colored cat. She is jet black.
@@Roeseii people can be very cruel to cats. Our wonderful vet who passed away last year always said that some people would do anything to be cruel to animals. He wasn’t wrong.
@@ikari66662 Squishy would be adorable, though Penny would be the more "normal" choice, probably? 🤔
My aunt and uncle used to have a cat named Go Away. She was a stray they were feeding and they kept telling her to go away. She went into the house and answered to that name for the rest of her life. It was weird saying Go Away and having a cat come.
Wow!!!
This reminds me of my uncle who had a dog named "Damn it" - I'm sure you can imagine why
I used to know a cat called Shut Up 🤣
❤❤❤
Love it. When l was an au pair in ltaly, "Va la, vien qua", a local expression amused me. They used it sort of like we use, "Are you kidding me?" or, "You must be joking". I suppose the closest would be the Americanism, "Get outta here", but, it literally meant, "Go away, come here". 😁
"the Dude" we called him "Dude". He was that chill. vets would pick him up, and he either purred or was limp and lazy like "you do the work" i am just here.
Lol then I have a Dude too. My cat likes hanging out with everyone at the Vet and he is super chill. The vet kissed him on his forehead
My cousins had a orange tabby named Lil' Dude but he was so naughty that eventually he'd only answer to Lil' Sh*t.
Great mouser tho.
That's my mood today 😆
@@MuffinHunterX my cat, Klee, literally just taught me she is a fantastic mouser… even while on a harness and leash… -_-“ She brought a LIVE mouse into my house lastnight… and dropped it when I told her to, thinking it was dead… it wasn’t dead so I then yelled at her to catch it! XD she caught it again and ran off and by the time I got to her it was on the ground limp. I tossed it out. Not sure if it was alive anymore at that point. If it is, hopefully it doesn’t come near here anymore. XD
Our orange menace’s working title was Dude, but eventually he got his actual name, Onni (Finnish for happiness, bliss). Nothing fazes him, he even growls back at thunder when it’s right on top, like you better back down or catch these paws. He also has weird vendetta against these grocery delivery robots, only times Ive seen him fully poofed up and growling, ready to go thru the window and fight this highly sus box on wheels. Only small kids make him hide (tbh, Id follow him if I could), everything else goes.
I met a couple with two cats. Tupperware and leftovers
😂😂😂😂😂
I AM DEAD
That's either really cute and wholesome or not wholesome at all
😂😂😂
LOL
We have a Maine Coon named Purrcy Jackson and I cant wait till my generation finishes vet school so the veterinarians get the joke
Now that is us a dam good name!
Aaaaa I love this!
Ooooh! I love it!
I'm 46 and I get it 😁 Love the name ❤
If the vet has millennial kids, s/he should get it. My kids and I watched that movie a dozen times.
My cat is named Anonymous. When we took him to the vet, they checked to confirm that really was his name.
This qualifies mostly as an annoying name
I know someone with cats Chopsticks, Spoons, and Pan.
I have a cat named Pan! Different origin though. We took in an injured stray that we named Luna. It turns out that Luna was pregnant and soon enough had 6 kittens. Since "Luna" means "moon", we named the kittens after some of the moons of Saturn: Pan, Aegir, Fenrir (Finn), Atlas, Daphne, and Titan.
Are they fan of Asian cuisine and do they cook the meals themselves? 👀
My grandfather named one of his cats "D.C." and it stood for "Damn Cat". He loved that little bugger lol
D.C. is surprisingly common when you consider there was a movie in the 60s by that name.
@thornback5641
I also remember reading a Disney/ Scholastic version, as well. Wikipedia (entry copied below) doesn't back me up, but ebay does. 😹
Undercover Cat is a novel by Gordon and Mildred Gordon, about a cat who assists the FBI in tracking down a pair of bank robbers.[1] It was first published in 1963 by Doubleday.
It has been adapted to a live-action Disney film twice, as That Darn Cat! (1965) and That Darn Cat (1997).
Two sequels were written by the Gordons: Undercover Cat Prowls Again (Doubleday, 1966) and Catnapped! The Further Adventures of Undercover Cat (Doubleday, 1974).
Bet you that grandfather saw "That Darn Cat" made in the 1960s
(And I didn't read the replies when I posted this so...)
We have a cat named DC as well. My daughter named her 2 cats Skiddy and Dalcatty after the cat pokemon. Dawn's grandma didn't understand and said we can call it DC for short, and it can stand for Dawn's cat, too. It's an unusual name, so to find another one, even if the meaning is different, is pretty cool.
My MIL named her cat DC too. I call her Belle
My rabbit Audrey hopburn
Yes! That’s awesome!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I was expecting a Monty Python joke with Tim the Enchanter.
Me too!
Just don't ask its favorite color.
Actually, see, it WAS a Monty Python gag... it's just a two-layer joke, because you see, every D&D game has almost as many Monty Python quotes as any other words spoke.
@deathybrs ahh I see! I'm not a D&D player so I had no idea. Love it even more now 😁
@@slinkywhippet Wow, your hair is so cool!
A calico orangish cat showed up at our place last year. We coaxed her into the house because she looked pregnant. She stayed in a box for several days, then started looking around the house. One morning, as she was sitting in the living room with the sun shining on her I realized she looked like a pumpkin. So I said ‘Pumpkin is your name, isn’t it’, and she meowed at me and has been meowing and yelling at us ever since. She was not pregnant just plump, and she still yells at us. Lovely cat.
I had a stray show up and waltz into my apartment like she owned it several years ago. She was a door darter. While I was waiting for the ad about her to run in the paper, I kept her indoors and, getting home one night, said "Dammit, Molly, back up!" And she did! Apparently the person who had her that passed away called her Tigger but... nah, didn't fit. She was my Molly Mo McCuddles of Mrrpington.
I work at an all animal hospital. We had a Guinea Pig named Bobcat 😂
Must be giving quite a scare to all the staff 😂😂😂
...did anyone ever bring in a (bob)cat named Guinea Pig?
This is amazing 😂
I have two guinea pigs.
Vinnie the Guinea and Stig the Pig.
Last name Goldwaithe?
Charmander, King of the Orange Floofs 😂😂 ~ my baby boy
That's so cute!
He is a very adorable king.
@@May-nt3ow awww thank you! This fur baby has the biggest personality and tolerates his hyper husky-mix baby sister 🤣🤣
@@elizabeth3405 Does the brain cell visit often?
@@May-nt3ow Nope 🤣🤣
My solid white cat is aptly named... Midnight. 😹
It was either that or get a house panther and name it Snowball. 😜
I have a house panther named Nephilim, the other two are Lucilius and Klaus.
😂😂
BEAUTIFUL...
then there's my old cat... earless, toothless. and weighed maybe a full 5 lbs right after she finished eating. her name was Tank.
My first cat’s name was Guess. It was fun when people asked what her name was. Miss my fur baby😢
😂❤
My brother has a dry sense of humour and named his cat, “Askim.” I can’t tell you how many times my brother was asked what the cat’s name was and he said, “Askim” so people would turn to the cat and say, “what’s your name?” 😂😂😂.
Who's on first.
I had a Manx cat named Minx. Because she was a bit of a minx.
We adopted our cat and he was still recovering from being electrocuted (he’s fine now) but his name is toasty. 😂. We also have a Lewis and Clark. Because my daughter thought they were explorer kitties.
Toasty...I like it 😂
Lightning McQueen
5 years ago we found three starving little kittens under our house, barely 4 weeks old. We named them after the BeeGees, Maurice, Barry, and Robin.
I love that!
Awww
One of my personal favorites has always been the cat my uncle had when I was little named Underfoot, because she was always tripping everyone
Oh my! We had a stray adopt us last year. I named him Trip for the same reason!
There's a Robert Heinlein book where a cat is named Mr. Underfoot...
We've got a snake called Switchblade! Try explaining that one to the receptionist!
I love snakes 🥰! I have a corn snake called Jörmungandr - we call him Jörmu most of the time 😁💜.
Snake named yormu ha
Lmao. I know someone who named their ball python Lando Cal Hissian!
I had a cat named Proctor Silex. When my first husband and I moved in to our first apartment she showed up at our door and demanded to be adopted. The night we agreed we would do so, we were both tired and sitting in front of a pile of boxes, each throwing out names. Each suggestion was shot down by the other as it just didn't seem to fit. Running out of inspiration the next time it was my turn, I simply read out loud what was on the box in front of me, which happened to be a Proctor Silex small appliance box. He fell over laughing as he wasn't overly fond of cats and referred to them as "furry little automatons" a la Ambrose Bierce. It stuck. The vet's office had a great laugh over it the next day. She was Proctor for short from then on, but she got the last laugh--I got rid of him after 5 years, and she lasted for 19.
My aunt once named a cat Purrly, as in Purrly Gates.
I took care of a friend's cat for a few years. His name was Dante, I always called him Chairman Meow.
My neighbor's cat leaves dead birds on my step. I call him Mr. Murder Mittens.
OMG We have a cat we call Chairman Meow!
He showed up here as a stray after tearing into one of the air ducts in our crawlspace and crawling through the air ducts into our house. We named him Blue because he has beautiful blue eyes.
We later learned that his original owners, who he'd abandoned after they'd moved to KY from NC, had named him Smokey, but by the time we figured that out, he'd been Blue for about 4 years, so the name stuck. But he is a very vocal cat, so when he starts with the meowing, we call him Chairman Meow. Too funny.
@@JW-vi2nh how wonderful he has such a loving home now ❤️
Aww, he liked you! He brought you all kinds of treasures! He thought you were his responsibility to teach you how to hunt because you weren't very good at being a cat! 😂
@@TheLovelyMissBeans lol yeah, because I'm a dog, bark bark
@@JackofWhitechapel 🤣
When I was but a youth, I babysat for a family who'd let their 5 year old name their kitten. The name was Happy Tree.
Aaw, Bob(cat) Ross 🐱🎨❤❤
I hope the 5 year old hasn't seen a certain show...
@@thornhop She was a 5 year old 30 years ago, so hopefully she is a successful adult with better names for pets. ;)
@@sarbah77
Ohhhh, so the show I'm referring to only came out around a bit over 20 years ago so she probably haven't seen it. XD
When I was about 3 or 4, my aunt and uncle let me name their new angus calf. He became Peter Cottontail.
We had a cat we named Mr. Spock. He was a rescue. He had big, pointy ears and I'm a Star Trek fan. Sadly the intelligence didn't follow 😂, but he was a wonderful cat.
I was wondering what reason there could possibly be for naming a cat Stuffed Crust Pizza. But honestly, now that I’ve heard the story, that’s kind of legendary.
We have a cat named Chip, lovingly named by me because when he was a kitten, he kept trying to eat our mothers chips right from the bag she was holding 😂
Stuff Crust Pizza =aka= Crusty the Cat
I'd like to think these are jokes- but I did know someone who named a cat lunch box😅🤦♀️
Lunch Box really fits some cats.
@@IHeartQuilting2 I mean I wouldn't name a cat that but so long as they are loved I will not complain 🤣🤣🤣
My mother's second husband named his one cat "Cat" and the other "Rampasat Harribai Spoonelal V Muckagee And The V Stands For Very Good Wikwik Catching Walla". Yes the whole thing. The vet insisted on a shorter name so he answered to Muksy.
I knew a dog named Lunch Box, so I wasn't terribly shook by that one lol
I know it’s not exactly the same energy as Lunch Box but I knew a cat named Bento Box and her brother, Noodle. Noodle was christened such because “his brain isn’t there, it’s just noodles”.
As an HR professional, I felt the Human Resources department bit hit so close to home!!!!
The Dolly one reminds me that Katy Perry named her cat Kitty Purry. I respect that, she saw the opening and went for it
We have a Fizzy Pop. He's a happy bubbly boy who loves tummy rubs.
*slowly raises hand* I have a cat and there are some who call him... Tim. Yes, Tim the Enchanter from Monty Python's Holy Grail. I let my husband name him.
If you get another cat you didn't expect to have, you could call him Spanish Inquisition, and you know why. Or maybe Spam. Or Lumberjack. Or Dead Parrot.
@@Unknown17 😂
We have clients whose two cats are named Mister Meowgi and Daniel-san.
lol that’s great!
Dolly Purrton……”what a pair” 😂😂😂
One of my favorite past cats name we had was Scumplethumbs.
Rejected cast member from Cats the musical
@@alicethemad1613Dammit you got to the joke before me
That sounds like a name from the wizarding world.
That’s an awesome name
This is maybe the best name I've ever heard for a cat
Actual footage of every time I take my Balinese, Double Soup Tuesday, to the vet.
Friend of mine had a Heinz 57 mix dog named "Freeto", because the ad said "Free to a good home".
There was a dog in the Just William books called Jumble, which I have always thought would be the perfect name for a complete mutt of a dog 🐾
Dolly PURRton! 🐱🐈😻😸😹
I'm going to recommend that one to my mom. (She's a huge fan.)
That’s my cat’s name!
And this is why Eliot's "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats" is still valid.
Cat's are weird, and weird cats deserve appropriate names.
My best boy started out with a different name, but became 'Riddick' within a week, because he could escape any prison ("slam!"), and loved the top of the 7ft bookshelf for a nap 😊
He's no hunter, and is an indoor cat, but when we were discovering who he was, it was the perfect name! He also answers to Ridsy, because ... why not.
I also had Spook/y, the love of my life. I found her on a busy street, a week before Christmas. She was jet black (my favourite,) maybe 4-6 wks old (still had blue eyes,) was a couple of days away from starvation, and had little contact with people - we thought the mother may have hidden the litter, and something bad had happened.
I took her home because otherwise she would have been hit by a car. She was a tiny thing, and hid under a cabinet for the 1st 3-4 nights, and would 'spook' and ambush ankles as the passed in the middle of the night. It was a 'place holder' name, because I tried to find out if anyone was missing her, she'd gotten lost, etc.
The name stuck though, as did, "The Boss" and "Her Majesty" 😊 _everyone_ knew her, and knew who we meant lol
She had a rough start, and never weighed more than 3-3½ kg (6½-7¾ lbs) her whole life, and was closer to 2½ kg/5½ lbs the last 5-6 years. But she had a huge personality, and ruled over people, dogs, and other cats.
We had 21 years together. I completely adore my Riddick, but will _always_ miss Spook.
We had a black panther named Tezcatlipoka, named after an Aztec god.
On my bucket list is naming a cat kitty kitty bang bang (like chitty chitty bang bang) and yes I plan on singing an altered version of that song to the cat 😂
You are a genius
I always wanted to get three cats and name them Larry, Darryl, and Darryl... a reference to the Newhart Show in the 80s.
I fear for the vet techs if that dream ever gets realized 😂😂😂
Larry, Darryl, and my other brother Darryl... Anything for a buck.
We had them where I worked.
now I have a strong desire to name a trio of rats Ed, Edd, and Eddy
My late kitty was named Oliver F. Waffles because the day he came home from the shelter he jumped up on the table and ate all of our effing waffles. ❤ miss him 😢
took me a second but 😂
Had a cat, a calico, that we called Aunt Patches. We'd inherited her from my great grandmother. Aunt Patches lived to be in her 20s. XD
We named one of our cats Squirrel, because his tail was almost as long as his body. One day my dad had written on the calendar at work “Get Squirrel shot” because he had to take the cat to the vet for his shots. A regluar customer/friend came in (this was a family owned automotive garage), looked at the calendar, and asked what it meant. Did he need to buy “squirrel shot” for a shotgun, was there a nuicance squirrel that he needed to get rid of? He laughed when my dad told him it was the cat’s name.😂
Cats either need a super human name. Like my kitty George. Or unhinged names like my family's old cat Bucket.
So, we have stormy and then Garbage. Yup. Always gets a laugh
I have a Mystery😂
How did Sir Garbage get his name?
My cat Autumn has just got 3 kittens, Stormy, Thunder (the noisiest) and the girl is Summer
Our dog was called Max when we rescued him. We soon discovered this must actually be short for Maximum Trouble and I get his food delivered to our house under this name. The delivery driver always seems to enjoy it ☺
I named 3 of my foster kittens Meowzarella, Tailggio, and Mewnster. I collectively called them the Cheeses. Their adopters renamed them though 😂
Another pair of fosters I nicknamed the Terrorists. I actually don’t remember their real names anymore. I still just remember them as the Terrorists and they’re still the wildest kittens I’ve had
I saw someone who had 4 orange brother cats recently called Cheddar, Gouda, Munster and Colby 😂
@@Infindox love it! I had 3 orange fosters last year (two boys and a rare girl!), and named them Pumpkin, Spice, and Latte. Pumpkin was the fattest, Spice the girl, and Latte was cream haha
I have a cat named Squid. My vet likes to joke she’s the only squid they’ve had as a patient lol
To be fair, Dolly Purrton is awesome.
We had "Tripod" - because she had a broken leg that healed wrong and was shorter as a result. She could use it just fine when she wanted to, but she preferred to hop around on 3 legs. Nicknamed Tripy.
We currently have, eh... Let's just say "Whiny". She's named after a word that describes someone who is crying and whining all of the time, because... she is. If she isn't asleep, she's wailing like a banshee. Not because she's hurt, or has some kind of problem (outside of the problems in her teeny tiny head, that is), she just does, this is just her standard way of existing, screaming her lungs out. She is actually one of Tripy's children.
We also had a "Mousey" - because when she was a tiny baby, she was the size of a mouse. We made it sound cuter than just mouse, though. Mousey is the best translation I can come up with.
I think the best we had was "Monsieur Hood" - a frail, sickly, underweight kitten we rescued near winter who didn't have a lot of fur on him, and was always cold. We couldn't really settle on a name. My sister wanted something fancier, and wanted to name him Maximus, but I told him that this cat is currently Minimus at best, so that idea was thrown out. In the end the name "Hood" stuck because we put him in the hood of an old fur coat to keep him warm and had to carry him in that everywhere, as he refused to get out. (Poor thing liked being warm for once.) But my sis added Monsieur to his name to make it a little bit fancier anyway.
Those punny names are the best. My favorite? Fuzz Aldrin.
Our cat is so chill we named him Spicoli.
Younger, I named our cats "no name", "compliment" and was refused to name the last one "President's choice" (all groceries' brands name)
Our matron, alpha cat is named Cali. We live in California. She is a tortoise shell calico. Her full name is Cali Caledonia, Queen of Far Estonia. Amusingly enough I now have an online friend who lives in Estonia. 😊 She cracked up at the cat's name.
Our neighbors ended up with a black queen called Feral Fawcett. I had her grandson Scamp. My parents had friends whose cat was named Kitty-poo You Don't Live Here Nomore.
We had a cat that we got when he was a couple years old. Therefore, he was already named. I thought the name was brilliant. His name was Puddy Tat. Name taken from the Tweety and Sylvester cartoon. Where Tweety the bird would say "I tawt I taw a puddy tat. I did. I did taw a puddy tat." in regards to Sylvester the cat.
My cats:
Earl Grey Badassington IV, Esq.
Dr. Noll, Duke of Purrsia
Detective Mango, Marquis of Mayhem
They also answer to: Mr. Grey, Good LORD WHY?! and Murder Goblin. If I want all three to show up, it's "Autobots, Roll Out!"
I had:
HRM Princess Trillian TieDye Pretty Pretty Rufflebutt (TieDye)
Dame Molly Mo McCuddles of Mrrpington (Molly)
Dr. Theodore Phantom Rattleface Minion Weaselcat, Esq. (Phantom)
And Lord Kieran Thorbjorn Tater-hunter Purrbucket (Bear)
We had cats named: Genghis Khat, Snowball (black cat), and Betty Graybelle. Dogs: Jack Daniel's (black & tan coonhound), an 8lb. Boston Terrier named Phatso, and the latest is Henry Jones, jr. (Indiana), who is a Border Collie/Pyrenees.
Love the black cat named Snowball! I have a white cat named Midnight - we should get them together! 😹😹😹
@@TXKitty It might be difficult. Snowball died probably 25-30 years ago, but I appreciate the thought.
I feel like that last one is underappreciated😂
My US history teacher had two cats born in a tank in a museum: Rommel and Patton.
Allow me to top everything here
Infidel Catstro!
We had a young tuxedo cat that we staff members took turns fostering at the vet clinic where I worked and my husband at the time hated cats but it was my turn to foster and I was sure that wouldn’t go well with my husband. Since no one wanted to get attached to the cat, no one named it. As such we started calling the cat, “little mister,” as in “Little mister, you’d better get off the table” or “little mister, you need to eat your food,” etc. Some way and somehow my cat-hating husband ended up liking the cat and kept asking when it was our turn to foster again. Needless to say, we kept fostering the cat until it never got returned to the clinic and stayed with us forever. He became known as “little mister” for life.
I volunteered at a dog rescue for 12 years. We had a couple dogs named entrée. And one dog named hors d'oeuvres, spelled accurately.
Tim the enchanter is an epic name, The Monty Python crew would be proud.
Greetings, Tim the Enchanter!
Dude says it wasn't a café like he didn't have a whole refrigerator behind him 😂
That's to hold specimens, not food. 😉
Two dogs that are sister snd brother. Really sweet individually. They were abandoned during the pandemic. Brother is Terra and sister is Moto. Brother does a lot of digging and sister is always running. Together they are Terramoto. Earth and quake. Earthquake.
My newly adopted kitten is named Phoenix Potato!
My partner has a cat named LuciFUR. Emphasis on the FUR. I suggested he name his next cat King Arthpurr.
My niece named one of her cats Lucifer, called Luci for short because my sister didn't want to call him Lucifer. He's a boy, and the folks at the vet's office asked if they thought he was a girl because they told the staff that the cat's name was Luci. Nope. Just short for Lucifer.
The description cracked me up! My baby's name is Bolt, but he has a number of nicknames, including "Murder Muffin," "Speed Bump," and "Lord Tabbicus, Master of Evil." Meanwhile, I have a friend, elderly gentleman, who has a cat named "Cat."
Many years ago I had an orange-and-white cat I named "Cedric". Ordinary name, right? Well, I was a big fan of the "All Creatures Great and Small" book series detailing the life of a Yorkshire veterinarian and his practice. "Cedric" in his stories was a boxer dog that had gas. Bad gas. All the time. So did my cat so he got the name. The vet was amused due to also being familiar with the stories, and Cedric definitely could clear a vet exam room fast.
P.S. Cedric's brother, an all-orange tabby, was called "Pretzel" because his tabby markings on his sides swirled into pretzel shapes.
Love that series
The ACG&S books are all-time classics. Every animal lover should read them.
Did Cedric ever have "flop-bot"?
@@fredericapanon207 I don't remember him doing that. One of my present cats (10 year old Rocket, a black-and-white tuxedo) drags butt on occasion. Yuk.
@petuniasevan Sorry to hear that about your cat. Perhaps have the vet check it out; it could be constipation or worms, who knows?
My parents had a cat named "Mister D" before I was born. He was as dumb as bricks and drooled while staring into space.
We adopted an Oriental Shorthair and named him Radar. Everyone always asks "Oh, because of the big ears?" Nope; his full name is Radar Technician Matt because he looks like Adam Driver!
My cats names are Simba, Thunder, and Lightning. They're all orange boys. Thunder and Lightning are twins, lightning only has one eye.
My current cat (delivered by the Feline Distribution department likely from the deceased hoarder lady's house across the way), is a lovely cute calico (spayed, thankfully) named BRUH.
She did earn that name by doing a wide variety of actions such as 'hanging on my bedroom window screen enough times that now I don't have a screen' and 'bringing in a live rabbit to teach me how to hunt' and 'needing to be at the top of the cat tree thus renaming it to The Spice Rack because spicy'.
Mine are somewhat mundane: Mocha and Chase. Mocha is a torbie, so I call her a caramel mocha catte sometimes. Chase is named because he's a jerk who likes to chase Mocha. They don't answer to their names. They respond to kissy noises (when they feel like it, and aren't already harassing you, which is more common).
My cats name is Pipsqueak. We call her pip and pippy. Pipsqueak Poo Hyde is her full name. I love that cat.
My mom's kitten is named Dumpling. He is a wild child who loves to zoom everywhere, play with anything and everything, has bug eyes (they are always wide), and tends to smile whilst showing his fangs. Looks like a tiny black and white gremlin hyped on caffeine.
Just had 2 kittens come in today from foster that were named license and registration.
family friend has a cat, Mr. Miyagi. I misheard the first time and asked if she said his name was Mr. Meow-gi.
"no, but it is now!"
If I were to even own 2 cats, I plan on calling one of them something extremely boring such as "Bob" and then the other one I would call something insane like "Bartholmew the 1st Prince of Penocony".
The looks on the vets faces would never get old.
Milk and cookies! My sobriety is tingling
I used to have a giant orange cat named Gossamer after the big red hairy monster in the old Bugs Bunny cartoons.
No wonder cats run away & pick new owners 😂😂
A friend has a tripod cat named Yardstick, which is one of my all-time favourites.
I wonder which atrocities has HR done to earn that name.
FINALLY, SOMEONE WITH THE CORRECT OPINION! Yes, Samoas ARE the best Girl Scout cookie and it’s high time people admit it!
Also, Tim the Enchanter is a Monty Python reference and a fantastic name. But is Work Email owned by the same lady as Human Resource Department?
I gave my cat's kittens names from philosophers I've learned in class. Like Arthuretta Schopenhauer, Alcibiades, Apollodorus, Emanuelle Kant etc
my neighbors thought I was insane
A friend of mine had a bunch of cats with such names! I remember Plato, Socrates, Aristotle, Descartes and Plotin, I think?
Whoever mamed their cat "Human Resources Department", they certainly have a cat that's a therapy animal 😊
One of my orange boys is named Jaime Lannispurr 😂
A friend of mine has a cat named 'Happy Meal'. He's ALWAYS a few French fries short of one! My cats are named after Neil Gaiman characters....Balder, Zorya, Mazikeen, and Agnes.
Is Agnes Nice and Accurate?

@@ikari66662 Of course! 😉
A friend of mine has a cat called Padkos - road food if you translate it directly from my home language, I have two Sir Terry-inspired boys: Maurice and Gaspode.
I had a client with two cats named Charm And Strange and I was like oh cool quarks (this was before the book )
When I was very little our cat Ginny had babies. I named them: Sticker, Flag, Flower, Stamp, and the dead one was rose. We kept Flower and gave the rest away.
I cat sit for a couple that has three cats - Graham, Ritz, and Triscuit. I love when people stick with a theme.
We took in my Mom's cat about a year and a half ago, because Mom's getting on in years (90 years old this July!) and couldn't take care of her. The cat's name is Patience. My sister said, "They named her 'Patience' so she'd have some." She's a tortie, so that should tell you all you need to know. 😆
When I visited the Netherlands, we ate a lot of croquettes. One night, I had a dream that I found a kitten and named it "Crocat." I literally dreamed a pun. One day, I will name a cat "Crocat"
I had a cat we called Pockets as when we get her she was small enough to fit in my pocket in fatigues. When the Doc saw her for the first time, he thought she was a ferret.
Samoas absolutely are the best, I salute you with a cookie, good sir!🍪🥛 I totally thought Tim the Echanter was named a Monty Python reference😂. What did Reception Guy do to get 2 strikes?
Yes, I was going to comment about those 2 strikes if someone else didn't. Inquiring minds want to know about the other 2 strikes.
Same! Although I do really like the reason given in the video 😂
So you're saying this (fictional version) vet would be freaking out thinking we stashed a human in a carrier with our cats Bob and Alex lol
General Kenobi might get a chuckle? (He pops up with the most hello there expression/energy, so of course we gotta throw out a General Kenobi when we see him lol)
My cat years ago birthed 4 kittens on my exs shoes I named them Jorden, Doc Martin, Rebok, and Nike. My brothers cat is Velcro. Best name ever
I have some friends who adopted a cat found at the poll worker office nearby. They named the cat Ballot. 😂
I have a boy cat named Boy Cat😂. The reason for this is bc I found him outside n it was hot he was miserable n hungry n had allergies he was in kinda rough shape anyways I scooped him up I took him to the vet 300 vet bill bc he needed a lot. He wasn’t chipped but Idk if someone was going to come say he was their cat so I didn’t wanna get attached so I didn’t call him any name just boy/boy cat n tht stuck he was reacting to it in like two days😂😂. Now he’s a fat happy sweet inside kitty❤️
I knew a cat that has thumbs so she was named Bigfoot, another had a heart shape on its fur so it was named cupid
