WHY WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH…
We suffered from high-functioning loneliness and depression our whole lives. We lived different lives in different states, but when we met, we realized we were struggling with common issues that reflected an important problem in our young adult generation. We didn’t know who we were, what we were passionate about, what we should live for, and what direction our lives were “supposed” to go. We spent a lot of time wandering in search of that magical ‘answer’ that will solve all problems (like I’m sure most of you are doing right now), and yet the further we searched outside, the more pronounced the emptiness inside of us felt.
Millions of people suffer silently from mental health related issues. Yet our society still places taboos around openly talking about relevant mental health topics like loneliness, depression, and anxiety. As a result, our young adults don’t know how to talk about it constructively, where to turn to, or what resources they have to combat this real-life threat to their wellbeing.
We credit Brain Education for giving us the courage to overcome our own mental health struggles and create the lives we want...and now we hope you can too through the videos we share on this channel.

The first chakra is also related to feeling safe and secure, as someone who really struggles with that, I realize that I really need to work on opening that chakra.
Could you please provide an alternate way to stimulate this chakra for those of us not physically capable of doing the rise and drop motions?

You can look up videos that they have for different body parts associated with the chakras. Like thyroid for throat chakra or chest for heart chakra.

Me too I'm overweight and learning how to strengthen my core so I had to FF on that first exercise. LoL
I was unable to get up and down initially I put my hands on the floor each side of my body and I managed it slowly .I’d say practicing a little every day would help .I felt the difference at the end everything had relaxed .
I loved it but I couldn't do it as it was so hard. Can any modifications be done for ppl with back/ knees problem?

i have disc bulges at L4-L5 and L5-S1, and sciatic pain. Would you say this exercise is safe? Just curious, as a ton of wellness practitioners have limited knowledge about the mode of activation/deactivation of the nervous system in protecting the spine. I appreciate that this is a spiritually implied chakra as well as part of the physical body, but this exercise seems potentially dangerous for people in my position. Let me know your thoughts!

Excellent exercises for both the first and second chakras. But unfortunately I can't sit in the half-lotus position. There is not enough stretching.
I had to do this seated in my computer chair, simply because I can't sit in the half lotus. Are there any adjustments needed for someone doing this in their computer chair?

In total we have 144 chakras...7 main ones but some teachers say 9 main ones.

Have you got another technic for normal person I mean I can not sitting down in lotus position and I can not doing this exercises , is that means thant I can not practice yoga
She is sitting yoga pose is called Siddhasana. It is easy to sit and comfortable for me also. Lotus pose is an other one.

The chakra explination is great... and the breathing.... but Lifting and dropping?? Where did this movement come from?? It is not good for ANYONE with back issues. That tingling is the pinched spinal cord between herniated disc lol
What it a person is paraplegic and cannot sit.

Should come with a warning for those less physically able! That first exercise is not suitable for me, I damaged my tailbone years ago and it took years to get better, and have a dodgy back and hips - I’ll pass on this one thanks!
