Akasa Air, a new addition to Indian skies, started its commercial flights with this inaugural flight from CSMIA Mumbai(BOM) to Ahmedabad Airport(AMD) on 7th August 2022. The airline that is headquartered in Mumbai, India was founded by the Indian billionaire, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala.

As much as I am excited for the new launch, I am worried too. The aircraft used is Boeing's B737 max 8. Which just before the pandemic was grounded all over the world due to two major accidents!
Although many airlines resumed the aircraft but still not the best option to start a new airline. Maybe they could have gone for more traditional Airbus's A320neo. Which is much more reliable and thoroughly tested!
True, I understand why people would still doubt that decision but the Max series now has to be the most scrutinized aircraft. Given it got cleared to fly after those investigations definitely means they fixed the issues that were there with the aircraft.

my friend the first A320 was a state of the art Aircraft with fly by wire technology it also crashed , not to worry the 737 Max has modified nd rectified all the software nd trouble shooting nd is as safe as the A320 Neo , no need to worry with the Max .

Bro abhi tak airlines full start nai hua hy means sirf 3-4 jaga hii jaa raha so cost kam hy ek baar full operation start hoga sab plane start hoga means number of plane jab badhenge tab cost badhega uske saat passenger ke ticket rates bhi badhenge
In the year 2019 ATF fuel price was around 64000+ per kilo liter now in 2022 ATF fuel price is 142000+ per kilo liter then how this new airline can decrease it's flight ticket prices??

Boeing Max series has lot of issues in past, really a matter of concern that Akasa has choose Max in its fleet. I would rather fly in old service providers with Airbus aircraft, for all safety concern.

Kya re itna ghatiya plane kharida gai rakesh jhunjhunwala ne. Yeh sala chappri loko ki jaan k sath khel raha hai. Boeing 737 the worst aeroplane ever witnessed. It's better to ride domestic in GO Air and vistara. Airbus A320 is used by indigo, that's good. But I doubt indigo's ground staff and maintenance work.
What a worse time for launching air travel business....when soon ,very soon all flights are gonna be grounded and that is for forever.....is he mad or short slighted?
