Akasa is appealing to those fliers to are flying for 1st time or those who have not flown in a few years.
Akasa is doing A great job.
Indian aviation market is big enough to accommodate 3 or 4 airlines

This week for the very first time I travelled on Akasa from Bengaluru to Pune(Large windows are nice), I used to travel on indigo and vistara , Vistara is mostly late for 15 to 30 minutes with friendly crew and complementry meals, indigo on time service with arrogant crew, Akasa is trying hard to match standards hope it will succeed 👍

@@venturemindset Because of inflation fares definitely not going to reduce. Distance matters for fares, if you can compare 2 routes mumbai to Ahmedabad and mumbai to delhi the fares of mumbai to Ahmedabad is lesser than Mumbai to delhi. Cost is proportional to route Distance. We all need to keep this in mind. Even Akasa could not reduce fares too.

This airline business is a very tricky one. Passengers wants the cheapest fare but if the airline doesn't make a substantial profit when the going is good, they will wind up sooner than later. Almost everything related to the aircraft has to be paid in Dollars. INR is is losing value against dollar daily. Fuel and taxes is on the rise regularly. Undercutting competition to get few more bumps on the seat may look good immediately but on the long run you are digging your own grave.
