This week for the very first time I travelled on Akasa from Bengaluru to Pune(Large windows are nice), I used to travel on indigo and vistara , Vistara is mostly late for 15 to 30 minutes with friendly crew and complementry meals, indigo on time service with arrogant crew, Akasa is trying hard to match standards hope it will succeed 👍

Distance matters for fares, if you can compare 2 routes mumbai to Ahmedabad and mumbai to delhi the fares of mumbai to Ahmedabad is lesser than Mumbai to delhi. Cost is proportional to route Distance. We all need to keep this in mind. Even Akasa could not reduce fares too.
Vistara is presently best airline in India. There is no low cost airline in India on passengers prospective. All airlines charge almost same fare. So sometimes you will find that Vistara or Air India's fare is cheaper or same with Indigo. So the competition must involve all airlines.
When you say that big industrialists are filling their pockets, you have understand that millions of share holders are also getting a fair share of the profit. The more you invest,the more you earn. There is no point in accusing industrialists that they make huge profits. You and I can buy as many shares in these companies and get a part of the profit.

This airline business is a very tricky one. Passengers wants the cheapest fare but if the airline doesn't make a substantial profit when the going is good, they will wind up sooner than later. Almost everything related to the aircraft has to be paid in Dollars. INR is is losing value against dollar daily. Fuel and taxes is on the rise regularly. Undercutting competition to get few more bumps on the seat may look good immediately but on the long run you are digging your own grave.
Akasha is a short term airline. I will not fly with the Boeing 737 any variant. Indigo is the best one In my point of view 1- Ontime 2- Low cost 3- Airbus fleet which I love the most 4- Crew behaviour 5- flexibility in their slot time I don't trust any Boeing aircrafts

He himself said he has a ton of money but cannot use it to live…..the cheating and lies get to people sometime in life. Air Akasa is a 737 max. I know many of them not comfortable flying that aircraff because of previous issues.. Indigo and Air Asia is doing a great job to keep the prices competitive. I will personally any day chose Indigo/Air Asia. It's great to have competition. However, I am hoping Akasa can some fleets of Airbus too rather than only rely on 737

Nothing low cost forget ultra low cost about this company Cost of the ticket is similar to full service carriers like tata air india and Vistara So there is nothing low cost about Indian low cost airlines.
