EASY & Delicious ONE POT meals! | A new FAVORITE one pot RECIPE
I always “fight “ my natural tendency to take all the stems out of my spinach 😂 I’ve gotten to the point where I just pick out the really big ones. I tell myself that it’s adding fiber and fiber is healthy. I’m a mess! 😂🤣🌻
I never even notice them!
Same! 😊
Oh yesss! I definitely take those stems off that baby spinach! I don’t really mind the very small stems, but the long ones have to go! I love this recipe with the spinach and gnocchi, I love both ingredients. Thanks so much!
That gnocchi recipe is now a favorite. I mean it was just SO good!
@@FeedingtheByrds I can’t wait to try it!
I cook for the homeless every week and I literally just made the sausage/rice dish for them last week. Of course it was 10x the recipe lol and we added chopped coloured peppers to it as well. So delicious
SUCH a great dish to serve a lot of people!
God bless you for caring for our homeless. 🙏 👍 🫶
Loved the “mommmmmm” in the background during the great missing cheese case of 2023. 😂
😂😍Guilty!!!!
You are always so adorable! I am sorry you were feeling crazy on this day but you pulled off what you were doing beautifully! Thank you so much for all you do! Love your spirit 🥰❤️
Thank you so much!!
So glad I clicked on your video. I'm always into one pot, easy delicious meals. I was so blessed to see your scripture come up, that was an unexpected and happy surprise, as I was just clicking on the meal!🤗
YAY! I am so glad you enjoyed. Thank you for watching.
I made this yesterday it was so delicious,my husband even had a second helping and he never does that 😊
Glad you liked it!! I love when you guys tell me that
I'm with Mandy. I always pick the stems off of spinach. I like Hillshire Farms skinless Kielbasa or Smoked sausage. I cut it into disks and saute' it. I add a tablespoon of butter to the pan to brown the sausage. I leave the foundant in the pan. I add my other ingredients, it adds so much flavor to your dish. I buy when it is on sale and freeze it. It cuts real easy when it is frozen.
Oh yum!!
Thank you!!! The gnocchi recipie looked so delicious! Hope you had a great vacation! ❤️
Oh my goodness it was so good!!!
One of my favorite words for too much going on at once is discombobulated 😃 these recipes look really tasty and easy 😋
Haha! Yes
Excited for this video. We love One pot meals.
Us too!
I love your channel!! You have inspired me to step out of my comfort zone!
YAY! I love hearing that.
All three recipes look and sound delicious. Definitely adding them to our meal plan.
Hope you enjoy!
@@FeedingtheByrds I'm sure we will. We have loved everything we've tried.
Everything looked great and as always a great presentation. Thank you for the verse too. You are a treasure.
God bless all here.
Thank you so much!!
This was a great video! Can’t wait to try the chicken and gnocchi recipe!
I hope you do! It was soooo good.
I just made the second recipe with the Italian sausage and rice…SO satisfying! I added a little shredded cheddar on top and it is fantastic! I am loving these one pot meals, Amber! 🙌
Yay!! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. That's one of those that we have regularly. If I don't know what to make for dinner, I know everyone will love it.
Thank you!!! I’m going to try all three. 😊
YAY!
Great dinner ideas as always Amber, and I love Psalms thank you for this scripture reading.
You are so welcome!
Awesome recipes, thanks for sharing 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
My pleasure 😊
Love these recipes! Totally going to try them.
Glad you like them!
I'm loving your recipes. Do you mind link in the cookware? Thank you in advance
I can take it or leave it with stems on spinach. These all look so good, and super easy.
SO good! Some of our absolute favorites!
what wonderful ideas for 'something different' AND EZ, ty. Your 'feeling' of 'not put together' today can be described as out of sorts, been there done that.
I think we all have at some point.
Hey hey ❤️❤️ thank you so much for sharing!! This looks absolutely delicious 😋 😍
So good!!
Delicious meals Amber, thank you for sharing xx
You are so welcome!
These look so good. I keep the stems on my spinach if they’re not too long and tough. I don’t have a problem with them. Most store bought spinach stems have already been trimmed down.
Yea I've never had an issue with them. But I always get baby spinach
Looks so delicious
Thank you 😋
I've never had gnocchi before, but after this delicious looking-meal: it's happening for sure! Will be watching your videos when that "smellavision" hits markets haha! Blessings to you and your family!
Hah! I love it.
I made the chicken thigh/ gnocchi meal last night and it was a “winner, winner, chicken dinner!”🏆👍🏻😋 Deeeelicious, Thank you!
Yay!!!! I'm so glad you liked it. We really enjoyed that one
I just discovered your channel yesterday, oh my goodness! I love the fact that there are no cream in them. I have a pot luck to go tomorrow night at our church. And I'm just trying to figure out which one of your dishes I want to make. My husband and I don't like spicy. So with some of your dishes, I'm going to have to take the spice out but like you. I am a no measure cook and I substitute spicey with other ingredients. I sure I'm glad I found you.
I am so glad you found me too!!!!
YUM! The hamburger and potatoes meal is the one my husband will love.
It's so good!
That chicken dish looks fantastic. Will try for sure.
SO good!
Amen!
I always toast my rice. It’s so much better! And always always pinch the stems off the spinach! These all look really good. What brand on gnocchi did you use? I can’t find one I really like. Thanks Amber 🐓🐓🥔🥘
Oh goodness, I wish I could remember which brand it was!! I'm so sorry. But I think I got it at whole foods if that helps.
This looks delicious. Definitely trying it. Yes I do cut off the stems of the spinach lol
Thank you!
LOVE use what you have on hand type meals .... love you suggest substitutes ....
Awesome! Thank you!
Whether or not I take the stems off the spinach is usually based on what I’m using it for and how ambitious I’m feeling 😂 If I notice some that have a lot of stem I’ll just rip it off, but most of the time I leave them on. Everything looks delicious!
The chicken and gnocchi... MUST try!
Hello from our farm in NH! Lovely recipes. I have frozen pesto gnocchi. I will try your recipe with halved boneless chicken breast and also change it up, using cod with tarragon. I leave the stems on the baby spinach. Thank you for sharing these recipes. I love the convenience of one pot meals ~ Diane
I'm so glad you enjoyed!
Omg it's vitamins eat in it 😋 Yummy
yum!
Frazzled is the word I use!
Yep!
I think it’s up to the individual on the stems on the spinach, I don’t like the texture so I pull them off but I know for some it’s no big deal.
Yea this is one I don't mind at all
Adding the chicken gnocchi to my list right now!!!
You will NOT regret it! oh my goodness.
Your lucky y'all like dark meat. I do white meat for hubby and thighs for me. I do a lot of chicken tenderloins for us most of the time. Never have cooked gnocchi before. I never use spinach in meals as hubby hates it. I do cook it for myself. Thanks for the great recipes 😀.
We love dark meat for sure!
Hi! I watch and live all your videos. I know it sounds weird but try serving plain yogurt with rice dishes. Mt ex is Persian and showed me this. It's a great way to get extra protein and calcium and it's delicious!
Thanks for the tips! I will try it.
I don't pick the stems off, but they don't bother me. I made a one pot red beans and rice last night. It was fantastic!
oh yum!!
These recipes look so delicious! I must confess, I’m a stem cutter.
That's ok! Go for it!
I love the Bible versus at the end of your videos!
I'm so glad!
Just made the Garlic butter gnocchi chicken. My said to keep it in my REPERTOIRE 😂 Thank you!
Yay!! I'm so glad you enjoyed
Good morning 🌞 obviously 🙄 I was trying to say my husband liked it ! 😂 I made the next recipe the next night to get rid of the other half of the mushrooms. Didn’t want to go to the store so instead of Greek yogurt I used the heavy whipping cream from the 1st recipe! All is well! Thanks for 2 very nice recipes! Have a blessed day!
I love your cookware. I checked it out from your link, but I really just need the skillets. The ones I saw did not come with lids, and that won’t work. I will keep checking in case I overlooked an option.
I appreciate it when you give suggestions on how to adjust the recipes. It is always helpful to know to start with a lesser amount of an ingredient because you can usually add more later if needed.
I wish they sold the set separately because I would buy a second small skillet!
I always use the stems of my spinach
It seems like a lot of people do!
I like to add some frozen green peas to a recipe like the ground beef & potatoes one. Usually nuke them till halfway done. They’re green & yummy!😉
Great idea!
I love the music that is playing in the back what is it if you don't mind telling me. Love your channel get a lot of ideas for dinner
Honestly, it's music that I pay for to allow me to use it in RUclips videos, but I don't know the name!
Yes, I definitely cut the stems off the baby spinach. I am okay with the short stems, however the longs not so much.
It seems like a lot of people do!
cool
I have been binge watching your videos. What type of cookware do you use? I also use gas and looking to invest in new cookware that works well on gas range! Keep up great work.
I really love it! We have had it about a year now.
go.magik.ly/ml/1gxfg/
Yes! I pull all the stems off
Go for it!
All three of these look delicious and a must try, so I have printed out the recipes, thank you so much for sharing and BTW I do not cut the stems off the spinach, guess I am just too lazy and it never makes a difference in my opinion! LOL
Hope you enjoy all of the recipes! We love them
@@FeedingtheByrds Just finished our dinner and I made the sausage and rice one and it was SO DELICIOU! Thank you again! Tomorrow the potato and ground beef one!!!
I think the butter amount depends on the pan you are using. If using a cast iron or stainless steel, a lot of that butter would stick and create a fond, which I don't find those ceramic pans do very well. And I definitely have to cut those stems off because they don't cook down like the leaf, so they get stuck in my teeth. However, I would never dare to tell someone else what to do with their spinach stems!
That's a great point about the butter!
I eat the stems of the spinach. Same with the stems of cilantro! 😀
We don't mind them at all!
Depends on how I’m feeling
You look gorgeous in that cobalt blue color!
Thank you so much!!
A tip for the potato to cook faster. Microwaving the potatoes for few minutes. Really goes fast and they are creamy.
Good tip!
I leave the stems on. Never been a problem.
Same here!
I always cut the stems off of the baby spinach!
It definitely seems to be split 50/50.
I'm smelling it right here.
Yes!!!
Yes I rip off the stems, lol. Great recipes
Glad you like them!
🥰
I leave my stems on my spinach never had a problem
We do too
Where did you buy yours pots? They are beautiful.
bit.ly/3d7lIxV
I love them!!
Interested in your spoon spatula. Where did you get it?
I think you are probably referring to one from this set.
amzn.to/3l1k740
Where'd you get your spices from? Loved this video btw!
The jars are usually from trader Joe's or food lion but I buy refill bags from Thrive Market and just refill the containers.
Yes I cut the stems off, It's just personal preference
Go for it!
I am like @mandy in the making, no stems on spinach. 😉
I didn't even know she removed them! haha. We've never had this conversation before.
@@FeedingtheByrds Lol, yes! She says she is OCD about it. 🤣🤣 I always have mine as well.
Yep, can’t do stems on spinach. I’m weird 😂
That's ok. We like you anyway 😁😁
Do you remove the casings from the sausages before cooking them?
It's honestly just whatever I'm feeling that day. I've done it both ways
I don't even take the stems off of 'grown up' spinach. And I've never heard of it in Germany where I live...
We never do either! But to each their own.
Thank you for the Bible verses at the end of your videos. The garlic chicken recipe looked delicious and no I do not remove the stems from my spinach, they get so tender you don’t even know that they are there, plus they add more nutritional value.
You're welcome! So glad you enjoy.
I like the plate you used to put the chicken on…where did you get it?
I got them a few years ago from Walmart. This is the most similar ones I can find.
bit.ly/3Yl2RVM
@@FeedingtheByrds thank you!
Stems off lol!
It seems a lot of people feel that way!
I always remove the stems from the spinach. They tend to make my sister choke. (Unfortunately, as a dialysis patient, spinach is a no no for me.)
Oh I didnt even think about choking!
Yes I do cut baby spinach stems LOL
Go for it!!
I never take the stems off.
I don't either! But it definitely seems split.
I leave stems on baby spinach. It tastes good so why not eat it?
Yea, we don't mind it at all.
Are the fire roasted tomatoes as hot as the regular Rotel? My hubby is a wimp!😂
I'm not sure bc I don't think the regular Rotel is spicy 😁😁
No
I leave the stems on
Me too
I totally remove the spinach stems. To me they are a bit bitter
Interesting!! I've never noticed
I think they call it breaking when it separates.
Yes! That's the word!
Is this regular paprika?
I think so!
I pull the larger stems off.
Definitely go for it! I know lots of people do
First you put in mushrooms, then spinach. I don't know if I can take it....
Always feel free to adjust any recipes to what you love.
Yes take the stems off!!
Go for it!
I Love baby spinach, the stems are fine with me. Except I have no teeth so in salads I will chop off the stems ❤
I don't mind the stems either!
I take them off.
A lot of people do!
I try to cut off all the stems I can
So interesting!! It's split half and half
Discombobulated is the word you’re looking for
That's it!
If the stems are really big I have to remove them otherwise I leave them
Makes sense!
Leave it on, more fiber. Is that Mandy that doesn't like the stems?
I think it is!
When I feel like that I call it discombobulated
YES!
No stems for me
I cut them off 😅
It seems a lot of people feel that way!
On, we don't mind it at all. Compared to other greens, they're nothing
I don't mind them either!
