My OEM standard 15-round mags are flush fit. The two included textured sleeves are for when using optional M&P 9mm 17-round magazines. I've owned and carried both a Glock 19 Gen3 and a Glock 26 Gen4, for years. I sold both in favor of my M&P 3.6" sub-compact ($480, purchased new locally) and 4" compact ($420, purchased new from MidwayUSA). Yes, I much prefer my M&P pistols over my (former) Glock pistols, even though my Glocks were quicker, simpler and easier to fully detail strip and reassemble. I instantly shot my M&Ps as well as I did my Glocks. IMHO, the M&P has much better ergonomics and shootability, with equal reliability, and offers more and better features, at a significantly lower price than Glock. Plus M&Ps are made here in the USA by American labor. Keep on exercising our Second Amendment rights in defense of our loved ones, ourselves, and other innocent people everywhere from the ill-intended who would do us serious harm. May God bless! 🙏
I'm ordering this in the dark earth colorway. "UPDATE" I was able to get the spec series version of this pistol and its great! Comes with a Crimson Trace red dot optic raised night sights & threaded barrel. Also cane with a nice blade and coin in a nice garden case and it' has the flat dark earth slide.
Got one of these waiting on a NICs check. S&W #13143. Hoping it has that updated trigger but can’t be sure. Palmetto had it for 449 and I couldn’t pass that up. They were willing to ship to a restricted state without the mags which most places wouldn’t do. I commend their commitment to the 2a fight. S&W does not offer a C with an optics cut packaged for 10-round states I’m forced to do silly shite like this to get what I want. Glad I found your video - it sure helps scratch that itch while I’m waiting! It’s been over a week with the holiday. Ugh.
Better than a Glock ? Who cares. It’s a great gun great price. I prefer smith and Wesson but that’s just me. This and a CZ P07 are my next moves. Great video bro
The 15 round compact mags fit flush. Just as 15 round Glock 19 mags . If you use 17 round full size mags they don’t that’s the reason for the spacer. You should really do some basic research before you try to make a video. So you know what you are talking about. As far as the box who cares don’t know anyone who uses them after they get home anyway.
@@Typicalpnwguy Just go ahead and use the 17 round magazines with the spacers...they really don't add much to the grip causing any so-called printing. I've owned one of these for several years and it is a great pistol. Carried Smith and Wesson for most of my retired LEO career. You did fine...there are always going to be critical people...the same who do not make videos ! Everything is a learning process.
It is better than Glock absolutely and so are a lot of other guns just a few to mention HK vp9 czp10 CZ p-07 CZ p-09 Walther PDP and the list goes on Glock it's no longer king of combat Tupperware

I think those pieces are so you can use a 17 round mag. The 15 round mags it comes with sit flush
You are correct. However I was given the wrong mags.
I’m from Washington as well and I just purchased the 4 inch M2.0 I love this handgun
It's definitely a phenomenal firearm
Also be sure to watch the update videos I have on it

Awesome. Make sure you watch my other M&P videos too.
Great video! I have a M&P 2.0 compact as well and I love it!
Thank you. Awesome! Please make sure to subscribe
Just did! Have a great day!

How is that trigger compare the previous? Thanks
That's a good question, thank you. The new trigger is more comfortable, smoother, and more crisp. It's all around better.
I thought the new optics ready ones come with metal optic plates?
The pistols themselves, no. Just cheap thin plastic ones.
Wow they didn't include a holster for this firearm?
No, but look at Carey Concealment. They're amazing holsters with little lead time.
Is this a 3.6” barrel or 4”?
4"
I just purchased this firearm over the Glock 19
@Average GIJoe Outdoors that grip is what did it
I just got the full size of the M&P9 over the glock 19 as well. Overall I prefer the look and the fact that it's made in America.
Much better
I agree.

It's not about research. It's that I got given the wrong mags.
