I went to the dealership to look at the Wagoneer and the salesman who I always buy my cars from told me not to buy it. He told me every one that was sold from his lot came back with electrical issues. He recommended I go across the street to look at the Expedition if I wanted the extra size. That told me everything I needed to know.
It’s Chrysler…a company known for the weirdest electric issues
Yikes!
I am having the same issue with my WS3. I'm going to take it in also. Over all we are very pleased with the Wagoneer. We have a 3yo and 6yo and it works great for our needs.
Every Wagoneer is a lemon 😂
I’m having a problem with my 2022 jeep Grand Cherokee WK. Lift gate doesn’t open intermittently. Thanks for sharing this. Thought I was the only one with issues. Please keep me posted if you get this fixed. My Jeep has been at the dealer for more than 30 plus days with all the visits I’ve done. They replaced the whole back and nothing has seemed to fix the issue. Going back again today. GGs Jeep gang!
The E-Torque engine is in my 2020 Ram Rebel, and I love it! If you understand what it is, and how it works, it's pretty AWESOME!
The joys of owning a new vehicle this day & time. Some will make you 😡. Wish y’all the best
Your seat issue with the seat button, does it whirr?
I checked out the grand wagoneer and the seat on the passenger side worked but the driver side when the button was hit, it whirred. The motor in the seat needed to be replaced come to find out and it had 9 miles on it.
They also replaced the fuse and that seemed to work as well.
The wagoneer is an amazing suv. I see people screaming get a gmc but they had issues the first year too.The problem you are having is the radio. You need a different dealer to do the updates in the radio. I love my wagoneer series 3 and had one tale gate close issue, it was fixed, I have 16k in mine. The radio is the largest computer in the vehicle and controls all those features. The radio update will fix it, oddly a radio update fixed the DVD player in the rear seat entertainment and the rear auto door, yeah I know weird.. but it fixed it.
Flashing odometer is your main indicator of a network issue. The BCM is not talking to the IP cluster which causes the flashing odometer. There is a known software glitch where the BCM
Losses network communication to a lot of the different modules. So things will stop working, such as your back seat latch. There is a software update for the BCM that updates the software and fixes this.
Not sure why your unplugging the batter. Drive it to the dealership and have them do a software update in the BCM, Uconnect, and every other module. What it also sounds like is the dealership you bought it from did not do the updates prior to sale.
0:58 Getting all kinds of warning messages… meanwhile the ignition isn’t even on. *The Stellantis Experience*
You should have a cylinder turn off button on the center console, mine has one if imagine your has one too.
We have a Jeep Grand Cherokee L Limited, everything is fine mechanically, and gets great fuel mileage, however, we have a lot of issues with the headlights which are in a recall. So getting it fixed soon. Only other issues are minor, which is just the CarPlay with the stereo. Hopefully it gets resolved quick for you.
Coming from a 14 year Chrysler tech…..you will, it’s inevitable.
He would have been better off buying a Toyota Land Cruiser OnPoint❤️ 🎯💯💯💯💯
I had the same issue, '22 wagoneer, check rear seat , & trailer hitch trouble light, the tech found a plug connector not fully seated causing intermittant fault light, fully seated connector, problem solved.
I’ve got 55k miles on mine lane management quit around 20k tow haul just stopped key fob buttons not working
Buddy of mine just Lemon Lawed a 22’ Chrysler Pacifica. New cars have too much tech theses days
the flashing odometer for mine had to deal with the battery saver mode coming on and slowly shutting down all the electrical systems. I end up with an error code U01111 Lost Communication With Battery Energy Control Module. Have to take mine back to the dealership yet again tomorrow. I have never had issues with a Jeep until they came under Fiat Chrysler Automobiles
Make sure all vehicle software is updated
Shits under warranty why u messing with it?
My 2012 Tahoe had power buttons to fold up the seats. Never had an issue. It’s cause it’s a Chrysler product 😂
FYI, all car manufacturers have electronic sensors, etc in their seatbelt receivers. Of course what you're seeing is a malfunctioning electronic safety device that lets people know if one of the rear sests is not latched in properly. It is a necessary safety device.
I have that same issue now. 11k miles.
This is the kind of quality you get from a company that has been bought and sold five times over the past 20 years Chrysler has not been the same since Daimler purchased them in the year 2000 trade in the Wagoneer and get a Toyota sequoia. You will not be disappointed.
the sequoia has been plagued with frame rust issues, just like many other toyota vehicles... also, its more ugly than the wagoneer
I was offered an absolutely insane lease opportunity on one of these vehicles, under $800/month with nothing down on a $75k MSRP, but due to videos like yours I opted out of it.
If you can, please check your fuses. Under the hood. On my grand Cherokee, I started having all these issues. Windows not working sensors going crazy, everything! I started to look over everything. You know what I found? All, literally ALL of the fuses were popped UP. Not even pushed in. And 1 was even in the board. I seated all the fuses correctly pushed everything down and all of my problems went away:
I did reach out to stelantis to show them what was happening with pictures and videos to support. Have not heard back.
I think they are aware. I randomly go to dealerships and check the 2023’s and so far, the new runs are ok.
What's "electronico"?
Flashing OD typically means the main computer isn't communicating with one of the other modules. I would guess there's a module for the seats somewhere that's causing this issue.
This is exactly right. He just needs to bring it in and have them reflash the computer and it should fix his issue.
Also, he should be able to pull on the handle on the bottom-rear of the middle seat, and the chair will go forward just like if he had pushed the button.
I have had a GW for 17 months now, and it's doing just fine.
If it's like other FCA chryslers, one module needs to be realignment in the communications stream.
You really need to get a primer paint on those walls in the garage. They will degrade over time, without it.
You are supposed to remove the negative side of battery first. Doing the positive causes a violent spark and could blow your computer
Electronical?
When are uploading the towing videos of the F350?
disconnecting the battery terminals and touch the cables together for a few min to drain the capacitors in the computer and modules Tons of RUclips video on it. It does more than JUST disconnecting the battery.
How is it now bro?
How is Chrysler still in business?
We bought a new 2023 Grand Cherokee L Limited. After owning it for only 6 months, we traded it back in for a new Cherokee Trailhawk. We couldn't take that new Uconnect5 . Anyone buying a new Ram/Jeep/Dodge with the Uconnect5, I say good luck.
Hope you get it resolved.....I don't think 'electronical' is a word. 'Electronically' is a word, such as : The button activates the seat mechanism electronically. Electronical button seat release is incorrect. Take the 'al' off the end.
Also....the part on the engine is not a 'generator'.....I believe it is an eTorque start/stop assist?
That’s crazy! I’d be hella pissed.
I was hoping you were showing a new wheelset. Sorry for your troubles.
Coming this week, I had to put the wheels off until I get it back from the shop 👍🏾
You should have bought a 2021 Grand Cherokee Wk2 summit.
The last Mercedes Grand Cherokee.
Mine runs perfect.
I love my ram, but the two land cruisers that I used to own just blow most everything away in reliability. Only downside is the terrible mpg they get
🤣🤣 I had a 2013 200 series and the best I ever got was 14.5 MPG and that was on the highway 👍🏾
Toyotas are reliable but boring
@reallymentalpig1173 Yes, I hate getting to work on time, and not seeing aaa forever
@@Max-kh9do well, buy a Toyota to daily and for fun or special occasions gets Chryslers.
Brand new Car in its second Model year, and then a Chrylser to Boot. You gotta wait down the road a bit when you invest in something so new.
Well I’m a content creator so this is the perfect time to buy lol
Guess the QA was missed on the jeep but love the power button myself 😁
Lol, not me I rather a handle to pull 👍🏾
Tahoe, next time ?
I figured this was happening honestly. The wagoneer has been having issues since launch
Yup, and this dates back to February of last year…
I haven't had any issues like that with my wagoneer although the constant updates are f**king annoying
Appreciate your video. The question I have is why are using your valuable time instead of taking the car to the dealership? 😮
12 yards long, 2 lanes wide, 65 tons of American pride, Canyonero!
Lol
@@JB_WhoWork my Ram kinda has the same thing where the airbag sensor under the seat acts up if you put anything under there, but I got lucky and just jiggled it.
Chevrolet is not any better. Wehad a 2019 Silverado that was in the shop for six months waiting on one part
What where you expecting it has a low reliability rating
They just dont make cars like they used to, in 2021 i got a brand new grand cherokee L that almost got me rear ended on the highway by a f350 because the damn automatic braking system "detected" something and pumped the brakes out of nowhere for no reason giving the guy behind me like 2 seconds to react and almost hitting the side wall when swerving to avoid hitting me.
Of course because it's a jeep
You take it back to the dealership for service in the first place. Never ever try and fix a ‘brand new’ vehicle yourself. Doing so, can create an issue with the warranty and dealership later on.
If you go over to auto auction rebuilds channel him and his wife had a brand new Jeep wagoneer they were driving it and it was set on cruise it jerked him out of one lane into one oncoming Lane of traffic and about caused him to have an accident if you go back and watch he will tell you about it and he traded it in immediately after that and got rid of it he said he did not feel safe in it and he just did a video like 2 days ago saying he would never buy another Wagoner
The real problem is that you said you are going to jump right into it like all RUclips videos and RUclips jumps into commercials so I skip then RUclips jumps into more commercials.
Damn shame, ram/Chrysler have always had amazing/reliable engines but damn the rest of the vehicle are usually 50/50
They have gotten better but the grand Cherokee and Wagoneer have new tech which is still getting sorted out
@@JB_WhoWork excuses lol GM next time
Lasted 1 day? Not bad for Chrysler man 🎉 (also no idea why you messed with this. just take it straight back to dealer and get a loaner lol)
Also, go get warranty work. You keep fucking with it in your garage, you'll void it.
All Jeep products are lemons.
I have the same issue with my 2022 WS2! Plus a long list of other electrical issues! I have taken it in twice! I was told Jeep has recalls but won’t announce them! However, they will “fix” the vehicles that are taken in. I have 9,000 miles and regret buying this vehicle!
Sorry to hear, so far the Wagoneer has been great! No other issues thus far! There should be a system update that fixes most of the issues from release, hope this helps!
@@JB_WhoWork Do you happen to know if that is the the flash update?
@@carolynbernal5511 it is, I haven’t had a chance to get ours done
Hopefully you'll address those issues on your wife's brand new Jeep Grand Wagoneer
I will, it’s been in the shop for a week, so waiting to get an answer back if they just needed to update the software or if something needs to be replaced 👍🏾
It wouldn’t let me start the truck when ours was unlatched. Unfortunately it was in an emergency situation as 3 car burglars were trying to lift a F 250 in the parking space across from us. In broad daylight @ a busy freaking Costco. I had my wife and daughter with me and one of them didn’t push the 2nd row seat all the way back. The burglar who was trying to pop the grill, saw me looking at him and as I was trying to start the truck. We locked eyes and I slowly started to reach for my Sig. when the getaway driver saw me he started yelling “let’s go” and they all jump back in and sped off. Stellantis really needs to rethink this design as this could of gotten really ugly quickly if you know what I mean.
😬 Now thats crazy!
Sorry you all are having trouble with that car😫
Sales should be absolutely embarrassed by their product
It was installed for ease of egress in the third row. It’s an initial bug why wouldn’t you just take it back to the dealership??😂
I just rented a brand new Wagoneer with less than 1,000 miles on it and there's no way I would buy this junk! It's beautiful and looks top of the line, but it's garbage. There is a major malfunction with the start stop system or some other electronic system on this one. When you stop at a light the entire car shuts down and it won't power back up when you take your foot of the brake. You have to manually restart the vehicle, the transmission will have shifted into park, the radio and A/C power down and take a minute or two to cycle back on, and the service powersteering and lane departure warnings stay on. Some people are paying 100 grand for these. Heck no!
I’m having problems with that system on my 22 Jeep compass too. I would not buy Jeep ever again
It's a Chrysler product junk. Wait for the front end parts going bad there is a lemon law use it now .....
Reach out to me! Must have product for the Wagoneer, want to send it out!
i called these things exactly what they are,...the first time i saw it,...a piece of crap,...a smart phone on wheels,....get yourself a 199O SUBURBAN,...drive it for 40 years,.....if you want a real grand wagoneer and want to spend 100k,..call heritage jeeps in texas.
why is everyone saying chrysler junk...its no longer a chrysler product. its a european owned brand. go to the source
4k miles and the motor has blown in a brand new Grand Wagoneer. i wonder if these vehicles are being built too fast or are just lemons
Was it the 6.4 Hemi or the new Hurricane?
Always make sure you always buy a used Jeep wagoneer
cheap piano black trim aka dust fingerprint and scratch city shouldn't be allowed in vehicles over 40-50 grand, let alone anything branded as luxury. DOD leaves engines with such weak lifters... gutted that on my last 2 engines that had it- new lifters and cam.
ANY TIME YOU BUY A CRYSLER YOU BUY A LEMMON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a 2023 Series 3.
Nothing but regret. The electronics are glitchy, the new uconnect is slow as a turtle. This is nothing but regret. Stellantis can rot in hell for this garbage.
I am sure that even a navigator would be more reliable, and that’s a low bar.
The app for a 100k machine is absolute garbage, garbage, garbage. My simple so frills 2022 Ram Warlock is more reliable than this thing.
The screen blacks out, the audio disappears, the heads up display is missing all features, the dealership has no clue what the flying f..k that car is actually supposed to do because the manufacturer messaging is absolutely deplorable. The AC in the seats is barely noticeable.
We traded a 2022 Telluride Night Sky y loaded for something that was almost twice as much with half the options, and of that half, half of those barely work.
The Kia app was a work of art compared to the Wagoneer app.
Shame is not on the plate for Jeep or a Stellantis. I feel like we got burned. We will likely trade it in at a loss.
At this point, a car from the flinstones would likely be more consistently reliable.
Stellantis…YOU SUCK!
Buyer beware!
Should've gotten a Tahoe or Yukon
🤣🤣
And get a blown engine…
Video is a little dark may need a flashlight or something
I turned it on eventually 👍🏾
$100,000+ suv....only 65 miles, and already electrical issues, yep, I'm staying away from jeep.dodge.chrysler...
I’m amazed people buy Stellantis/Chrysler products these days. The literature is abundant everywhere you look. JUNK.
Electronics and tech are great until they are not.
it has 2 batteries
It does but all you need to do is disconnect the front one and it turned everything off
I hate to say it but you will continue to have issues with that vehicle down the road.
If he knows Chrysler is a bad investment, then why did he buy it?
Yeah them jeeps are not it I worked at a dealer once as a porter and a brand new 22 wagoneer with 50 miles came in with a blowned engine 💀
🤣🤣🤣jeep 😂
This is disgusting! I am looking at a $112,000 Grand Wagoneer........and I can't pull the trigger because I get shy due to many issues like this. I printed pages of different customer issues and showed it to our Jeep dealer. I asked why would I drop $112K on a vehicle that has so many different issues. He had no answer.
Don’t get me wrong, when Toyota put the 8 speed transmission in the 200 Series Land Crusier, a few people had them replaced with less than a couple thousand miles… first model year of anything will have issues and Jeep has a new BCM (body control module) which is presenting issues but once they figure it out, it should be more reliable 👍🏾
Thank you I understand that. That fact being said, I will wait till 2024......and maybe then MSRP days are over. Maybe we will pay like we used to....make a deal, not just pay MSRP or don't buy.
Join the rest of the grown-ups and buy Yukon or Tahoe. They look better and perform a lot better than any other manufacturer. Buy the 3 ltr dmax and forget about it. 24mpg +. Those jeeps are like mopeds, they dnt look bad, but u darn sure don't want to be seen in public with one. Good content as usual, boss.
Dude whatever, lifters, condenser etc.
Well, don’t buy a brand you know is crap. If people stopped handing over $80,000 for junk maybe they would try harder.
You should have bought an Expedition!!!!
No way, we like this better 👍🏾
take back to dodge tell them your issues
My friend is married with 3 kids and bought a Wagoneer last spring. Worst vehicle he has ever driven. He's trying to get out of the contract via the lemon law. The Jeep Wagoneer has to be one of the ugliest boxy suv's out there.
Jb. I loved your reviews for a long time, but stuff happens with the way everything is massed manufactured. You have a warranty so just take it in. Then to say how to put it the 8th gear for the shifting, than you shouldn't have bought the suv. Straight nit picking. There is no perfect vehicle out there anymore and never will be.
Zero excuse for this
Oh NO Bro you're on camara tinkering under the hood...Bam warranty terminated.
You really should have bought the Toyota. Goodluck.
One word Stelantis
Shoulda bought the Yukon bro! GM is more reliable than dodge any day. And i love dodge lol
Gentry and sons on RUclips bought a Yukon for his wife, the 6.2 blew within a week.
@@TheMrbearhunter1 there’s always gonna be those outliers of course! Lol
@@michaellarrick8881 for sure. Just unfortunate no vehicle is really 100% of even 80%. They all have minor / major issues yet the prices keep soaring.
🤣🤣🤣
@@TheMrbearhunter1 big facts man. Especially on newer models like the grand wagoneer.
The older CJ's were reliable. The new stuff is absolute garbage.
Amazing you can afford to get a wagoneer but can’t paint your garage .
Can't wait to pick this thing up for $20K in 5 years. What a POS.
Why would you want a POS that is malfunctioning outside of warranty even if it is cheap?
That’s annoying!😬
Sure is but this is what happens when a manufactures changes the tech 👍🏾💪🏾🇺🇸
Never buy the first model year. Ever.
True! I heard the 2022 had recalls but 2023 hasn't. That's what people get for being impatient on it I guess..
"electronical" isn't a word. Sorry for your bad luck, American cars are garbagio
Exterior is not the prettiest…. Not a fan of those things at all..
Should’ve went European 😂
it kinda is european, if its owned by european
