I think these spikes hurt ShaCarri when she is in Eugene. She’s great when she doesn’t try to run fast, but every time she actually tries to run fast there, she runs much slower. There is something about the combination of the Eugene Track, the shoes, and her mechanics that appear to give her more upward than forward motion…it is weird. I do agree these shoes affect different folks differently, due to all the factors.
When you are sprinting and reach top speed and you try to go faster it actually cause you to slow down because you are no longer relax and muscles begin to tighten and cause you to slow down.
I'm not gonna lie. I really don't like these spikes. I feel it takes away from our natural abilities by acting as an addictive rather than an optimizer. It's like a cars and racetracks for example. A good tyres and a good track can make the car go faster not because they have the car more hp/torque, but because it's helps them out that power down. These spikes seem to be the equivalent or giving cars better tyres and the tyres somehow give the car more torque and hp. I don't really have issues with the new tracks. I just wish the mimicked natural surfaces instead, but at least everyone is on an even playing field with them.
Imagine Asafa in one of those Super Spikes (outside of a major final lol)
he'd run 9.50

Hey way to win ,,please make video on mondo synthetic surface science of Olympic vs normal synthetic track
The science is simple: the mondo track returns more energy back to the runner, so it's faster.
@@TheWayToWinis any difference between normal synthetic track or mondo track??
@@SamKumar-ny4go Mondo tracks are like the top-tier version of synthetic tracks, offering unmatched performance features.

I've got sp2s and maxflys, and especially with the maxflys my ground contact is always slightly in front of where it is normally
As new born, slower M45 sprinter Nike Maxfly is working against me thought I do better within New Balance SD-X.
Please make 300m wr tebogo video
What are the exercises for glute and hamstring in top speed phase? I guess compound lifts are more for acceleration right?
Plyometrics are best for top end speed
Exercises don’t change depending on phase the exercises would be hip thrust and rdls compound lifts do help most in acceleration tho😊

Its also possible that she used to tense up in big races

This might count as cheating! Christian Coleman wants the ‘spring’ sneakers to be used.
