In today's video, I take a look at every Mario Kart game from Super Mario Kart for the SNES to Mario Kart Tour on Mobile and look at all the Mario Kart characters that were removed from the rosters of the games.

my theory as to why Kamek got cut in 64 is that since all the models had to get replaced after they accidentally got deleted (yes this did happen), they didn't have enough time to make a new Kamek model and decided to just replace Kamek with DK by using Rare's DK model (who are credited for giving the team the model in the credits)

1:42-1:45 There was only 1 Mario Kart game prior to MK64, so it really wasn’t a trend

So there was actually no evidence Nintendo ever said Waluigi was too creepy for Mario Kart 7 at all. My guess is that he probably was cut due to time constraints or because they thought it was a better idea to have more new characters in the game even though they sucked.
Sadly they waisted time making new characters that still have yet to return in favor of ditching a well known character who reappeared right in this next game.
Payback for not having Shy Guy as a playable character in Mario Kart Super Circuit, DS and Wii.
I'm just sad that Waluigi was scrapped from Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit.
I mean there are only 2 characters in home circuit. Mario and Luigi. That's one of the reasons why it's the worst Mario kart.

Nintendo actually admitted the creepy Waluigi thing was not true, It was actually due to time restraints.
Doesn’t matter they could did a dlc for 3ds and added him in they were just lazy
There was actually another character that got scrapped was Mii Outfit C it was an unused Mii Outfit that was supposed to be with Mii Outfit A and B, in the games files there was an unused Mii Outfit C model that is a toad outfit but it’s very glitchy.

And the Goomba has never even been considered to be in a Mario Kart game ☹

The Mach Rider character was most likely the generic guy that Nintendo stated was in the beta before Mario was considered

3:20 actually, there is one. In Mario Kart Tour, there’s the King Boo from Luigi’s Mansion. He’s called «King Boo (Luigi’s Mansion)» in it.
Petey Piranha is a kart in Mario Kart Wii, that’s why he got the boot…or the wand. I love to think that Bowser looked at Petey and was like “Petey, you wanted your own car! Here ya go!” Bowser uses Kemek’s wand, misses, and turned him into a car. Bowser was like “Screw it, I’ll fix it later” and took Petey as a car instead.
Technically, King Boo counts as a Luigi’s Mansion character since the first game he was in was Luigi’s Mansion

With mario kart tour I wouldn't say green freerunner koopa troopa is completely scrapped. more like put aside for the time being. with new characters being added in almost every new tour. there's still a chance they will eventually add him in later on even if it'll take a long time.
In the Double Dash version of Waluigi Stadium, you can actually find DK Jr. in the crowd.

There are actually some cut characters in Mario kart tour: Honey queen, paratroopa, piranha plant, boo, luma & SNES koopa
I’m am so mad at Nintendo that kamek has been replaced by the inklings in MK8DX
E Gadd can be in the roster as well so I am saying that kamek and E Gadd can easily replace both of the inklings.
What I didn’t like about the mk8 dlcs were the addition of non Mario characters. Cause imagine if they added Mario characters we would of actually had a higher chance of seeing some that have never been in the game yet
We got Mario characters with Tanooki-Mario and Cat-Peach be greatful (sarcasm).

I mean.. yeah sure, we got three Mario characters in Eight's DLC, but not very good ones (with the exception of Dry Bowser)
All the non Mario characters, Baby Rosalina, and Waist of a Slot Character- I mean- Pink Gold Peach, need to get out of Mario Kart's roster, it would make it so much better
If E Gadd and Paratroopa return to Mario Kart Tour I would've been excited.

@Tricky Nick: The reason why E Gad did not make it to the mario kart roaster was because he his not part of a mario game, he his part of a Luigi game. Donkey kong his actually part of Mario game, because he is in the classic game Donkey kong with mario being the good guy. Bowser's fury his a Mario game despite being name after the bad guy.
By that logic Diddy Kong and by extension, Waluigi, shouldnt be in the game then

@@Lagw1020 Waluigi first appeared in Mario Tennis 64--a Mario game. I'll give you Diddy Kong though. He first appeared in DKC.

you can't play as gold mario in Mario kart tour outside coin runner, I'm assuming they could not think of a special item for gold Mario or they reserved him only for coin runner

I think Mario kart should add stun time on the chacters as heavys should have a longer stun time because there the fastest,middle weight should add a average stun time,the small weight should have shorties stun time because.ig it's a good idea idk..

Technacally, we do have Luigi's Mansion in Mario Kart with King Boo.. but I don't really count that because he doesn't look like how he does in Luigi's Mansion
With Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's DLC, some of these Mario characters could be added; I'm really hoping for Hammer Bro to be added, even if he doesn't have the alts, then I'll have three characters to alternate from playing as!
I think they "removed" Dk Jr because Dk Jr is Donkey Kong and Cranky Kong is the original character in the first DK game.

Mario kart was originally a normal non Mario racing game, so that smk character is a remaining part of it.

Being too creepy is NOT the reason of waluigi’s absense in 7. Apparently, this was because of time constraints, so Metal Mario took his place
