I really hope they put many Mario/DK/Yoshi/Wario characters in that game that we have never seen in Mario Kart (or just in MK Tour) instead of going the Crossover road and adding random characters over Mario ones that never had the chance to shine in this series.

I want Plessie that adorable Dino from 3D World. Since Bowser's size gets always readjusted for him to fit you basically could have a large size Yoshi-like driver with that.
Honestly,I just want E.Gadd,Toadsworth,Kamek,Bowser's Pimp Car and the Paper Kart from Color Splash and Origami King
yoshi and birdo are not the same character, they are two different separate characters, it's like putting peach and daisy in the same character slot because they're both princesses
They don't even follow their own logic since Dixie and Diddy don't share a roster slot
I feel like they should be separate characters instead of classify them as reskins. Like Birdo and yoshi are separate characters and so is funky and donkey Kong.
*_I KNOW..._* right...?! I mean - *_*why*_* are the 7 Koopalings lumped in with Bowser Jr.??? Some of them *_do_* have different weight classes from Bowser Jr. (notably Morton Koopa Jr. and Roy Koopa - they are *_heavyweights,_* while Bowser Jr. is a middleweight), and so they all deserve their own character slots in the next Mario Kart video game!
They don't even follow their own logic since Diddy and Dixie don't share a slot
I've been thinking about how some of the other characters could wear motorcycle outfits, not just The Princesses.
Like, it would be awesome to have wario motorcycle costume for example

I just really hope they make the Mario Kart tour costumes purchasable with coins that you collect. Playing the haunted tracks with witch Rosalina or Pumpkin Mario on Halloween would be a fun thing to do, or using Santa Rosalina, Mario, or Reindeer Yoshi on a snow stage in the winter would be fun.

This is cool and all but i think most of us forget that alt mostly refers to alternative costume, that is one of the reasons there were 5 different Marios in MK8, each were given their own unique animations and attributes, an alt wouldn't have that. I would like Funky Kong to return but if he was considered an Alt for DK, he would act the same as DK with nothing different for him. That is why in Smash Bros Ultimate echo fighters were given their own slots because they had different attributes and stats unlike the original. So either have most of the characters in this video become their own slots or just cut.
To be frank, I rather have Cosmic Mario and Robo-Mario in the next game instead of Tanuki Mario, Gold Mario and Metal Mario Because having power-up version of the main guy seems such a stupid idea. At least with Cosmic Mario and Robo-Mario, they have their own appearence that are not power-up versions.
This is all really convoluted by putting different characters in the same character "slot". Just have the outfits share a slot but if it's a completely different character then why would you not want them to take their own spot?
A lot of people seem to think that less roster slots = less dev time
I would love Cranky Kong, Pauline, Nabbit, Plessie, King Bomb-Omb, Toadsworth, Il Piantissimo, and E. Gadd to be newcomers in MK 9/10. As for my dream, it would be a double dash game or at least allow a double dash mode or function. Like bike is the fastest but lightest, kart is all around, and double dash is the heaviest option but allows double items -- that way everyone could play how they like.

I agree but also you can do is: the x nauts, grodus, shadow queen, tippi, count Bleck, o chunks, Mimi, dimentio, nastasia, Merlon, luvbi, Kirsty(I don’t know how to spell it), Huey, Olivia, king Oli, honey queen and luma lee. Of course many could be alts.
As long as my girl Rosa comes back, I'll be ok.

I hope they make a longer-lasting Mario Kart game, with a lot of things to unlock and do. Having seasonal events and updates, even if that's in the form of DLC.
I really hope Ashley from Wario Ware gets added.

I hope we can see funky kong come back and some other kongs appear. Seeing pauline come into a main title mario kart would be cool too. I'm also surprised Dr. Mario hasn't appeared in mario kart tour and hope he can appear in this new mario kart.
Some other's one my wish list are gooigi, e gad, meowser jr, the rabbid mario characters, the broodals, and even the robot mario from I believe that one arcade mario kart.

The character reveal made me laugh so hard when he went full auto on Calavera in the well.
I was kinda hoping he would mention king olly and olivia as part of the roster, they could get a cool folded origami car, just wishful thinking. Also maybe, just maybe, add karby (kirby car mouthful mode) as a character.
Or just make a kirby kart game, since kirby has a bunch of characters (and gooey drives with his tongue)

My idea of the running / flying option instead of a regular kart of bike would be like the selection menu, except in the menu you would see the cars, bikes, but also different shoes for running, like green Mario 3 shoes would be running but one that looks like it has wheels on the bottom would be roller skating instead of running, and for flying you would have different types of wings like parakoopa wings or dragon wings referencing the Lord of lightning or Phoenix wings referencing Bowser in that one rabbits game.
with all these new charatures (posibilty) coming to MK10, sounds like a mario kart double dash feature
Say, that sounds like a VERY interesting roster for a potential brand-new Mario Kart game. But, we'll have to see what Nintendo has in store though. 👍

I would love for characters from the Mario & Luigi series, Donkey Kong series, WarioWare series, and Metroid series to appear in the next game. Plus, we already have Diamond City in Mario Kart Arcade.

I would like characters unique items to come back like double dash and I would also like a system where certain characters like toad, peach, toadette would have a higher chance of getting a mushroom or Koopa would have a higher chance of getting green and red shell and maybe new skins and skins are obviously to flex on friends there are endless new concepts and ideas I would like to see

Seems kind of convoluted. If anything, they should get rid of the costume and gold versions. And I think there should be 3 more non-Mario characters like Pit and Fox and Captain Falcon.

For bob-ombs you could have some kinda of wheel on their body, you know what I'm going with this they all have a somewhat mechanical aspect to them such as those wind-up key thingies and the......... idk what it's called.

I really want every charcter to return. If they can do that in smash, they can definitely do this in Mario kart aswell.

I would love if every character had a cosmic skin you unlock by beating the nintendo staff ghost in different time trials! We need more fun unlocks imo
11:24 I think for their kart, they could charge up a launch star at the beginning of a round, and then fly kind of like Kirby does in Airride.
I think there should be whittles in mario kart 9, with their different head shapes as their alts.

But with such a big roster you would not be able to choose your racing partner.
Bowser could have Bowser's Brother as an alt. Donkey Kong could have his father Donkey Kong Jr and his Grandfather Donkey Kong Sr (Cranky Kong) as alts. Captain Syrup could be a playable character.

Can you do for the next video about what items I would love to see for the next Mario Kart as it heads towards the future? Because I have been saying this since I saw the Mario Kart DS commercial. And I find it really funny. I saw people throwing pizza, soda, and stuff like that that would tear up the track. We can have grease, melted butter, and oil slicks that our CPUs can slip on, ice cubes that we can freeze our opponents with, electric orbs that we can use to get our opponents in an electric shock, a swarm of hornets we can use to get on our opponent’s nerves, various items from the Mario Kart Arcade games, crates filled with a bunch of TNT, giant banana from Double Dash, poison mushrooms, missiles we can use to shoot our opponents, another variant of electric orbs that will make our CPUs go in the opposite direction, mega mushroom from MKWii to squash our opponents, and many many more!

Also, I think each character could have a special kart, for example, the koopas
Their special kart would be a shell, but it would be special because it might be faster, but it would bounce off of walls when it bumps into them.
That way, each special kart feels unique, and you can still use your favorite kart with your favorite character

My brother had an idea where link would be leaping across cryonis ice blocks over water, but I think that would cancel out full water levels. He then said for him to jump back in when link reached his limit. I also have the idea of each character having their own attacks. Smash attacks included. Also including special powers or abilities. Pokémon could have weaknesses for once in external games like this one. So please, tell me what you think. Thank you!

Any of the popular characters from the Mario Kart app are probably a safe bet. And it's extremely unlikely that any of the Mario and Luigi characters will ever actually make it in
I only want Dark Bowser from _Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story_ (as an alternate/re-skin for Bowser, Dry Bowser and Meowser).

This may be an unpopular opinion but I’d much rather have more tracks and/or a track editor than more characters.
The distinction between characters who get a slot and characters designated as a skin was really poorly defined. Why is Funky rolled into DK but not Dixie into Diddy, why is Birdo rolled in with Yoshi despite being her own distinct character, and why isn't Hammer Bro rolled in with Koopa but Dry Bones is despite all being in the same species and similar looking? Then you have every baby and Koopaling rolled into one slot, and I get that their space on the roster is cringe, but the problem was oversaturation and not roster space (for the former, at least). I get that this "frees up" roster slots, but not really? They still take dev time, they're just not immediately seen. If the babies were rolled into one slot, I guarantee that MK8 would still have the same roster. Also this is just a nitpick but it should've been Nabbit with that guy as an alt if we're going by your idea and not the other way around since he's much more widely known
What about Mouser, Wart, Gotchawrench, Foreman Spike, and Eggplantman?
Could you do a video with most wanted new tracks and most wanted returning tracks that would be so cool
having different character as costumes make them worth as mutch as any slot.
And having different one + costumes in the same menu is kinda confusing. Dont get me wrong smash does it but its because if they are too similar in gameplay they cant be their own fighter like koopalings, and yeah everyone is upset about daisy and simon.
Now i dont know how mk 9 or 10 will but im pretty sure the gameplay difference between character will not be a huge developement isue and they can make many, like a custom item r a super.
Maybe im wrong but calling similar character a wasted sot is kinda not true, because they would be just a bit more longer too make, and if its too mutch, having multiple character with the same item but differet stats i enouth.
If they add a paper Mario variant or separate character and a paper Mario type course I would be very happy about it
