I really love the idea of Nintendo Kart! This got me thinking, for the Pokemon Trainer and it's Pokemon, I thought maybe they could possibly use Wes' levitating motorcycle from Pokemon Colosseum since the Pokemon can sit in the side compartment while the trainer takes full control of the motorcycle.
I like that Mario Kart has loads of weird characters that would normally not get much attention like Wiggler and Petey Piranha. Hopefully we can see Nabbit in the new one

Agreed. While I can definetly imagine a good amount of other franchises joining, I really feel no matter what it'll mostly consists of mario characters. Or maybe this roster is going to be huger than we thought and have like 50 other franchise characters and 200 mario characters.
No having a lot of characters isn’t really a problem since unlike smash all they have to do is add the characters models and animations do it’d be alot easier.
I don't remember who made it but I think there's a toy of a Pikachu driving in a car shapes like a pokeball. Something like that could work as a pokemon kart

And I would say the roster will be 45 characters at launch with 30 Mario characters and 15 crossover characters. That way we also get a decent amount of new Mario characters like Pauline, E Gadd, new enemies, etc. Also, I don't see characters like Ganondorf joining. Also Happy Birthday!

Maybe (very small chance) they could also add some very specific indies, and yes it defeats the purpose of nintendo kart but think about it. They could add banjo and Kazooie, Rayman, Steve, shante, shovel night, hollow knight to name a few. It could basically be a sub section with close business related Indies.
