@@AmericanPoliceCams we quit using them years ago due to repeated failures, they haven’t changed since as noted here ruclips.net/video/dMkyDAAxA6Y/видео.htmlsi=yB7AR0Utxd-kidtH duralast gold (remy) or Napa…make sure you find out who the manufacturer is, they slap the same name on everything and the part number tells the difference, in that video the customer brought in a rock auto special to replace the ultima they had put on and it was worse than what I took off, a Remy was only $15 more on that site.
Thanks for the detail explanation, one question this are 200amp, will a 175 amp work from the 2011-2012 ? I have a 2013 but the alt ver is the same as the video, the 200 amp one, but in my country they only have 175 amp version.
these ford engineers and designers really are smoking something bad and dont understand when they pack parts on top of parts a real bad thinking problem $$$ cant even get it out without removing and taking 5 things apart, also 190amps increase of current is ridiculous with minimum of 100amp needed to run vehicle components and almost 300-400 BuckS is Crazy! 2004 explorer and before was 130 amp max $150bucks , this is reason why many alternators are failing so prematurely because they are maxing out ALTERNATOR electrical circuit capacities The will NOT last with these high current Numbers.
Thanks for the vid. Helped a ton. Also, I agree. There's nothing better than an engineer who thinks like a mechanic!
My mom's just went out and I'll be replacing it this weekend and would like to know what store not to go to lol. I usually go to O'Reilly's

I appreciate it, I'm putting it in as we speak
Thank you for this video. I will be checking others you have

I’m not sure, the body and plugs appear to be the same
