Hi really enjoy watching your channel, a few weeks ago you showed a tool that helps you connect your equipment to your tractor hydraulics could you possibly let me know what it's called and who you got it from. Cheers
Can I have some wood please
This is by far the best, and highest quality firewood delivery service i have ever seen. I wish all firewood companies would meet this level of excellence!
You pay a premium price for wood delivered like that.
I would agree ...cut ,split, delivered, stacked and placed wherever you want it..,yep I would pay premium.
They will if you pay.
So my question is what is the cost for this kind of service?@arthurwarman6161
he charges for this. He gets $675 a cord.
All your videos on Matt's business have been so interesting. He's the type of business owner I would pay attention to. He knows his business and his customers.
He created his own niche in the market and now he gets his rewards. Well played!!
The walk to the second location across the bridge was simply beautiful. Capturing this video during the fall along with the accompanying music was top notch😊.
Best in class firewood delivery service, congrats Matt. Excellent video Adam!
All you can say is WOW, your technique, specialized equipment, grade of product and interaction with the End User /Customer is all focused on Facilitating the Best Customer Experience , polished and smooth operation. Thank you for sharing. I can see why these episodes go viral. 😀👍👍👍
I admire a business owner that stays involved in all aspects of his or her business.
Wow, what a great idea with the storage... I've been looking for new ideas for my firewood business. I think this may be a game changer. Thanks for the idea
He has this dialed in! Great video.
That trailer is fricken awesome. I can see why he has a lot of repeat business. Delivered and stacked in less than 30 minutes.
The little details in all of Matt’s operation add up on the bottom line. Neat and interesting all in one. Thank you Adam and Matt for showing this all and bringing a side of the premium firewood side of a niche market to the RUclips world. A lot of thought, dialing in, and making things work over years of development lead to what Matt has in all aspects of his business. Awesome to see man who followed his dream and made the business he has today. Struggles are real but the wisdom that comes from them is what we see today. Well thought out and executed. Great video taking Adam. 👍🏻👍🏻
Adam, one of the best videos I have seen. Nice clean delivery. You get what you pay for. There is a reason that these videos get a lot of views - the guys in them and their work ethic.
Somebody get buddy running that pallet jack some boots!
Right on, I am going to have to watch this over and over so I can build a similar pallet toter for my IBC totes. excellent ideas all around from ensuring they have product, to preserving its quality. Matt should be quite proud. The trailer is awesome as well.
Congrats to the business owner !!!! Really unique and also the owner is intelligent and good hearted which shows in the care of the business and shines through to the customers! I wish him great sucess !!
If you have an efficient stove/ fire place, and limited time or capacity, you can take advantage of a primo service like this and come out ahead. I love it!
Tell Matt, thank you for sharing. I love to see a quality, run business with great attention to detail;. People will pay for quality, and those people are usually very good customers.. Cheers from eastern Pa.
Most of firewood deliveries here in Ireland is that way, thats how i get mine.🇮🇪☘️👏👏👍👍🔥🔥🔥
That set up is almost my dream set up. ImEspecially his off road pallet jack. I have spent years trying to make it this efficient.
I only hate all the shrink wrap, but it probably cannot be helped considering it all.
We deliver through a lot of gates though, so that width is also a bit of an issue. Even still- Love the dedication to something so many people take for granted on the buyer side.
This guy's awsome. Seen him for many years here in sagertown. This is awsome man I'm proud to see this.
Very nice process, that trailer with the airbags is slickkk! Thanks for the quick feature of my channel, gotta start somewhere!
I enjoyed this so much I am looking forward to watching it again this evening. Excellent firewood delivery company! Excellent content! Thanks Adam.
Uh, this is unreal. We live on 20 forested acres and heat our home with 3 to 4 cords of seasoned firewood fuel each year. I've never heard of "kiln dried" firewood, palletized firewood, or a pneumatically lowered trailer for that matter. And a motorized pallet jack? Get outta here! This was a fun watch.
Edit to add: Yes, we harvest the firewood we need on our property, and sell a small surplus to neighbors.
He has that nailed! Great work!
Wonderful operation he has. Thanks for highlighting this great “small business”. 👍👍
Nice gig, Matt! Well done and best for your continued growth.
Taking a pride in what you do, I wish you all the best!
There's a manufacturer that makes a hand controlled engine powered forklif. It's called a Burro I think. Definitely a premium delivery, great job 🎉
The kneeling trailer (which is also an algorithm proof rolling billboard for the business) is handy as a shirt pocket. And a wheeled carrier not tearing up everything. Very professional.
Thanks Adam! What an amazing operation. 💙💙😊
Good to see dedicated business man with customer service ethic. Good video. Cheers
That's a good hand you have there.
Respect and take care of him
Awesome adventure today. Matt never fails to impress, but all your amigos are impressive! Thanks and God’s Blessings!
Very efficient, love it!!
Great video!, definitely a different way of the process and delivery of firewood. Its a customized innovation in the firewood world!.
Outstanding Customer Service.
12:16 Now that trailer is really cool. I've rented drop deck open utility trailers for moving lathes and mills, but I've never seen a fully enclosed trailer of that size that was on air bags (or however they do it). Seems like adding disc brakes to the front wheels of the custom pallet jack wouldn't be that difficult, either. Use a motorcycle style master cylinder so there's no pumps or anything.
Just that trailer alone is bad ass, and then there's everything else.
This is the Premium firewood delivery. That trailer is fantastic. Only way he can do what he does effectively.
Thanks guys! Really informative to see what the process can look like for firewood sales. Definitely the way i would go for for my home in the city. Cheers and hats off to some pretty cool innovations and professionalism. Cheers!
That U-line pallet stacker converted to off-road use is cool
What an operation.
GOOOOOOOOD
SUNDAY MORNING EVERYONE!!…Nice video
Thanks for sharing Adam
Have a day!😊
Fantastic I really really enjoy your videos you have got it going on. That is for sure. I will keep watching your videos cause I really enjoy them.
I've seen many rough terrain pallet movers on the market, They can be bought for immediate delivery. Not exactly sure how his is modified. The ones I've seen run around $8- $9,000 if memory serves.Lots of videos on RUclips about them. Great video here, thank you!
Great job, only minus is the plastic wrap, keep innovating ❤
Beautiful operation!
I think Matt run a great operation, the personal delivery service right to the exact place the customer wants it is a fantastic service. I know what he means when if you lose a few minutes here and there it can really add up to lost time by the end of the day. I used to do local pickup and delivery and losing a few minutes here and there really snowballs into quite a lot of lost time quickly.
Great video Adam, Matt runs a top notch service 👏
Wow very impressive. It takes a lot of wood customers to invest in equipment and processes that are this efficient. Type of business owner who is really dialled in to their customers needs. How can you compete with this process! I deliver ton bags of wood, dragging it off my truck and then a short distance for a growing number of customers but this is just next level 👏
In Denmark (and most of Northern Europe) you typically order pallets of wood online and/or in hardware/big box stores. The local dealers of firewood does a lot of the same…
This is the best and cleanest firewood delivery have ever seen!!!! Joe from Ohio wood burner comes second.
Never seen a trailer like that on bags with a drive up ramp. Pretty clean and slick operation all around. Nice.
i like the 1/3 cord cube stacked palletized firewood. have you considered smaller sized versions 1/6, 1/12 and 1/24 Cords, a full range of bundle sizes priced accordingly?
I'm glad you guys talked about the truck and trailer. Up in Michigan to pull that for personal use same set up is fine, commercially you need a dually for a tri-axle. I hate grey area rules.
It's the service given that will propel this guy higher economically.
Awesome video 😊 Unique and great business. Neat and efficient product and delivery. Thank you for sharing 👍
What a great delivery setup! I think it is worth the premium to have hand stacked on pallets. I wish I was close enough to be able to customer. Love the collabs with Matt.
Premium product with top notch service is always worth it. I would definitely make use of this guy's service if I was in that area.
Another spectacular video, Adam. One of a kind.
This is how big-box or hardware stores sell firewood usually in germany :)
In these crates that is. They don't go offroad usually, but that's ok for most people.
This is really a first class operation, very impressive. I love the tri-axle trailer - does it have airbags that you dump to lower it??
Customers always Love clean and efficient !!
That is so cool, would love to get a delivery like this.
The whole time I was thinking wow that's a load on that trailer. The DIY forklift is cool, just enough, not overkill.
They are nicely stacked there is the maximum of wood in those stacks , nice job !
It’s so simple it’s genius.
GREAT VIDEO THANKNYOU AND MATT!!!
This is amazing. So clean. When I used to get a 2-3 chord delivery, the dude would just dump it all on my front yard and we would spend a day to stack. 😂
I'm sure you're gonna pay a premium price for the quality of firewood and the service that they provide. This is what I would call , High end luxury firewood.
Wow, so sweet 😊
Very interesting!! Matt is an incredible businessman, & you're an incredible channel!! God bless y'all! 🙏♥️👍🌟
Thank you Dianne!
You don’t have to worry about the competition stealing your ideas. They want to sell what they believe is a third of a cord. Great job
Love that diy fork lift/ pallet jack !
I think one of those electric walkbehind palet trucks would suit your loading process much better.
Not bad thinking but gotta factor in load weight.
@@WhatDreamsMayCome444 not much heavier than a fully manual pallet jack. But yes, everything has to be factored in. He would still need the gas unit for rough terrain/turf travel.
I agree completely. You mean, to eliminate the completely manual unit the helper is using? I agree.
Over here in the UK we get tote bags delivered, but the palletised stuff has been around for quite a while.... a lot of it comes in from Eastern Europe and is often sold without middle man laying hands on it... Palletline drop it off at the customers address using a tail lift / pump truck kerbside... price for one of those crates delivered would be between £360 and £460
Wow.incredible.i am.blown away by this process.
Any info on that trailer.he uses ?
Very Cool ! Enjoyed ! From Chas.,SC
Wow. This service is amazing. Three words from Michael Keaton : “ Franchise, franchise, franchise “ and a vanilla shake.
Vestil makes all terrain self powered pallet jacks like that also. Might be a good video for the channel.
That's awesome! Thanks firewood guy!
impressive system, congrats
I like this setup i have a pallet jack but need a truck big enouth and a closed trailer
Nicely done
Matt’s business is a good example of paying attention to detail and using best practices. He has built a very successful business by making good financial decisions and taking care of his customers. His premium product may cost a little more but there is certainly a market in NW Pa for it. If I was his banker, I would nominate him for Small Business of the Year through the SBA. He deserves some recognition for his efforts to differentiate himself from the competition!
This is what it looks like when a business owner takes their business, their custoners, and their time seriously. It took a lot of time, money, and effort to get those processes down to where he can offer that amazing service for firewood. He won't stop, either, I am sure. There are always more innovations to make, and he will continue to make them.
That dude is top class. Kudos
This guy and neighbor Doug should meet. Both of them are very neat and organized!
I have introduced them
I met Matt when I delivered his Blockbuster firewood processor he is a great firewood guy! Want to see more about his processor
Very top notch operation
What a cool business, im sure some people just leave it right on the pallet and pull as needed.
This is exactly the way I would do it. Most firewood and delivery around here are just pull a cord out of the mud and drop it in a pile of sawdust on your yard. Great to see another business that prioritizes sustainable processes over maximizing profit.
I get 1/2 cord dumped in my driveway. 😁I built racks in my garage to store dry, don't mind stacking myself. Exercise.
I wonder what this guy charges per chord?
Nice fall colors there... bet the mornings are beautifully cool
Thats a slick operation. Has your friend looked at an electric pallet jack to move things around in that trailer? Would eliminate the need to push the pallets "up hill" in the trailer and be safer for the employees by reducing the risk of injury from a runaway pallet jack.
Great video! The video you did breaking down the numbers on processing was awesome as well. I’d be curious on how much money he has into it from stacking on that pallet to the end of delivery?
Adam, this man has got it figured out. This was a very interesting video. Anyway stay safe healthy and warm. Bill H from Cranberry Township
That's an awesome system.
WOW! That is some organization. How many cords fit in the warehouse when full? How many cords can he fit in that delivery trailer?
Live in MI, was recommended this video. So was curious on how much one of these 1/3rd cords cost with delivery... ~$225... honestly way cheaper than I thought it would have been.
Have you done a video showing Matt's Kiln drying process? If not, I'd love to see what that looks like!
