congrats on the 50k subs, guys! your podcast has gotten me through a lot of busy days at work, and this youtube channel has become one of my favorites. keep up the great work!
i love that ryder respects the fact that it is Hawkins private collection and didnt touch it. im the same way on my stuff that i collect. already love ryder as a performer but just shows u he has mad respect as a collector
The OG EdgeHeads. Love these guys. I was one of the thousands that got to see them win the Tag Titles at Wrestlemania in NJ live in person. That was the loudest I cheered at a wrestling event in a long time. Love you guys. Keep it up.
I used to play in an EXTREME metal band back when these figs were coming out and I met Jerry Lynn at one of our shows. I gave him one of our CDs and he gave me an autograph. Super cool guy, loves music, and I'm gonna say that's why his has a guitar.
I was an ecw superfan and had Taz and Sabu. But didn't realize they made so many figures !However it was the toughest time in my life . So I was detached somewhat . Yet I STILL managed to record every show and ppv to complete my tape set !!! Ecw was my only grip on reality at that time . that company means a lot to me.
Been counting down the subs till this dropped. Thanks to Brian, Matt, & Smart Mark for all their hardwork. You guys have taken the top spot, as my go to wrestling podcast, and I don't even collect wrestling figures
I was a huge ECW fan, my neighbor used to be Tony DeVito we used to go to the ELKS Lodge, MHCC, and wherever ECW was running that was close to us, my dad would pile me and my friends in a car and go see shows. I remember when the figures came out a friend of mine Chris bought me the Ring that came with the two figures (RVD and SABU) I think was awesome
this is so awesome! I always wanted ECW figures but i never saw them up here in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and near by cities. I only have a New Jack with Noose figure. It was so hard to get ECW content. Its so refreshing seeing Brian be more of the hardcore for a line than Matt
Man I love tommy dreamer I met him the day after WrestleMania 23 in ft wayne Indiana and sat and talked to him for like 15 min it was awesome nicest guy ever
Welp, even though I never had any kinda involvement in this line of figures, it was still interesting to see and listen to this episode and hear about the love and passion for this particular line...🤘🏼💯✔️
I don’t remember these figures until I was out of the game but the ecw I remember was more of the 96 era but I remember raven and the return of sandman so I must have watched in 99 great review great collection totally hardcore
Thank you for such a fun time. I planned on putting this on in the background and get some stuff done around the house and almost instantly stopped what I was doing because i couldn't take my eyes off the screen and I wanted to devote my full attention to listening.
wow it makes me want to start a callection again i sold my callection but i kept one and it was ecw sabu with collector card and i purchased it at toys r us im glad i watched this it brought back memorys
This is awesome to be able to see what you guys are talking about. I would love to see a similar style video for bone crunchers, hasbros, LJNs. Congrats on 50k guys, awesome collection Hawkins!
Great talk Hawkins and Ryder. I just smashed the like and subscribed buttons. I’m a collector of wrestling figures and The Legion of Doom is my all time great. If you guys do a in depth look on LOD figures that would be a Ruuush! Thanks again guys. Continue with the great show. 👍🏼
I think I still have my series 2 RVD somewhere. Loose of course. Seeing all these brought be back. Thanks for the nostalgia. . . Please do this more and show more toy series i love it. I never knew they made this many ECW figs.
I’m from Pittsburgh so we have ECW on late night tv and they would come to the Golden Dome and then eventually the old convention center. I was so passionate about old school ECW!!
I remember seeing the commercials for these action figures during episodes of ECW on TNN as a kid and always wanting them but for some reason they were never sold in Canada
Sandman was supposed to be the 6th figure of Series 2 like Matt said. That's why the Sandman figure that comes out super fast after he returns to ECW from WCW is chubby and not ripped like he was in WCW. The mold was sculpted from his original run
I have alot of them but the ring and a few like corino storm and I wanted mike awesome!!!! He was so hard to find! I met him at a ecw show in 99' he was a super cool guy I miss him it was so sad what happened to him..... love your collection though man it's amazing!!!!!
Hey guys, i am still a huge ecw fan. Several loose figures, vhs tapes,t shirt, magazines and memories of the promotion that changed the direction of pro wrestling, ec fn w! Btw,love this channel.
My favorite ECW figs were the Shane Douglas and the Buh Buh ones. I think I loved the articulation of Shane and the size of Buh Buh. In fact, I have this memory of going to a family function and just for funsies I brought my Shane figure with me. God, I miss my figures, lol
Crazy to think that cardona didnt know what action figure resource was when this was done and It makes me wonder how Hawkins found out about AFR to get that info before the figures actually released back then. Great show guys
Congrats on the milestone!! ECW has always been one of my favorite promotions but sadly I never had any of the figs, so this is an awesome vid. Does anybody know what equipment they use for Audio??
Honestly i believe the missing figure was Bam Bam Bigelow he is the only triple threat figure not made to a toy. also i remember watching ECW at 1 am on the MSG network not NY55 and new jack was doing a promo on the 6 train and i was like holy shit he is at my train station so i ran out to see if he was there cause he was calling out the baldies still to this day i mark out when they do shit like that
Good stuff. I remember Taz cutting a promo on Shane Douglas that he would make it to queens from Brooklyn in 20 min because that’s all the show had left. And he said because of EZ pass he would get there. Which I think was still very new at the time. My first memory of ECW was also watching on MSG flipping around the channels stumbling onto it. I was in high school, and Joey styles was talking about the Eliminators facing the gangstas. In the fall of 1995. I was hooked after that. I knew about it from the magazines but first time I had seen it on tv.
Man I loved ECW I would come home from school on Wednesday and watch it on my local TV channel my friends used to give me so much crap for watching ECW they where WCW and WWF snobs and wouldn't watch it
I have the New Jack variant they are talking about. I'm surprised they didn't find all of them considering I'm from Long Island as well about 10,15 miles east of them and found most of them on Long Island.
I loved these figures and had a majority of them at one point. Was never able to get my hands on the Dudley Boyz though. I would have to say my favorites were Series 4 Raven, Sandman, Super Crazy, and Thrill Zone Lance Storm. I do have to disagree with you guys on the yellow shirt Tommy Dreamer though. I actually liked that one. Regardless, I love watching your videos of all the figure hunts, especially both of the Toy Department episodes.
this is sick, i had most of these back then, i got them all at dollar general, and 100% were the biggest supplement of weapons to my collection. all my wwf wrestlers were the rubber ones with the little holes on the sides.. do you know what series those would be?
I'm with Matt. I also lost interest in ECW around the time that they signed with TNN. I don't think it "legitimized" them at all. If anything, their credibility took a hit, because a large part of their appeal was that they were anti-mainstream, and there they were trying to go mainstream. They also lost some of their biggest stars around that time, like Taz and the Dudleys, so I say "meh" to ECW on TNN.
Hey guys, great episode! I have 2 RVD Thrill Zone figures, mint on card, one has a belt and the other one doesn't. You didn't mention anything special about this figure so I was just wondering what you thought. Looking to sell those and all my ECW figures except my autographed Corino. They're all sealed on card and I have most all outside of about 5 or so or the Target exclusives.
Hey Brian & Zack, Did you know the missing figure on series 2 was Shane Douglas w/short hair. That toyfare article you have stated poney tail version in series 1 then series 2 would have the short hair. Yet somehow they made the change sooner than expected.
I keep imagining the WWE hotel every night on the road is just like the team hotel in Slapshot and each night Randy Orton walks past their room, finding an open door with them and their action figures. Orton walks down to the payphone...because they still exist in 2020...calls Vince and says "they brought their fuckin' toys"
No matter how bad or silly or wild life can get, there's something so calming about thinking about wrestling action figures this in-depth. Sick.
Every time I watch one of these guys episodes it makes me want to get back in collecting... Spectacular work guys keep it up
They got me back into collecting! My wallet regrets it, but my inner child thanks them. Lol
congrats on the 50k subs, guys! your podcast has gotten me through a lot of busy days at work, and this youtube channel has become one of my favorites. keep up the great work!
boom boom
Figura custom de Ray Gonzalez m.ruclips.net/video/2xcANHDagLk/видео.html
It's so genuine and the chemistry of the guys warms my heart. One of my favourite channels at the minute.
i love that ryder respects the fact that it is Hawkins private collection and didnt touch it. im the same way on my stuff that i collect. already love ryder as a performer but just shows u he has mad respect as a collector
Actually he touches the newjack figure
Cause Hawkins knows his friend is rough with shit
Matt on WWE figure: Psycho
Brian on WWE: normal
Brian on ECW: JOURNEY WITH ME INTO THE MIND OF A MANIAC
Doomed to be a collector since he came out the nut sack
The OG EdgeHeads. Love these guys. I was one of the thousands that got to see them win the Tag Titles at Wrestlemania in NJ live in person. That was the loudest I cheered at a wrestling event in a long time. Love you guys. Keep it up.
I used to play in an EXTREME metal band back when these figs were coming out and I met Jerry Lynn at one of our shows. I gave him one of our CDs and he gave me an autograph. Super cool guy, loves music, and I'm gonna say that's why his has a guitar.
Jerry Lynn was totally into Death Metal back in the '90s. in what band did you play?
These guys got me back into collecting
I was an ecw superfan and had Taz and Sabu. But didn't realize they made so many figures !However it was the toughest time in my life . So I was detached somewhat . Yet I STILL managed to record every show and ppv to complete my tape set !!! Ecw was my only grip on reality at that time . that company means a lot to me.
I'm collecting these now. Thank you for this! ECW is my all time favorite promotion, and this is by far my fav pod right now!
Been counting down the subs till this dropped. Thanks to Brian, Matt, & Smart Mark for all their hardwork. You guys have taken the top spot, as my go to wrestling podcast, and I don't even collect wrestling figures
More podcasts need to be done like this, perfect presentation!
I was a huge ECW fan, my neighbor used to be Tony DeVito we used to go to the ELKS Lodge, MHCC, and wherever ECW was running that was close to us, my dad would pile me and my friends in a car and go see shows. I love these figures I played with them all the time. I had small head shane douglas, the first Lance storm, Tomny Dreamer, RVD, and Taz
Love this episode. Thanks guys!
I love the “Best Wishes” in the autograph of Axl Rotten. Haha!
I loved this bonus episode! Thanks for sharing your personal collection
Man I love tommy dreamer I met him the day after WrestleMania 23 in ft wayne Indiana and sat and talked to him for like 15 min it was awesome nicest guy ever
This was excellent! I never even knew these existed! God bless!
A video already!!?? Let’s gooo thank you 😊 this made my night !
Welp, even though I never had any kinda involvement in this line of figures, it was still interesting to see and listen to this episode and hear about the love and passion for this particular line...🤘🏼💯✔️
Great podcast (you guys always deliver), always entertaining.
I enjoyed seeing you guys talk during podding. More of this please.
Never clicked on something so fast lmao. I know it’s going to be great, so I’m just gonna click that thumbs up already😂👍🏽
Same tho 😂
I don’t remember these figures until I was out of the game but the ecw I remember was more of the 96 era but I remember raven and the return of sandman so I must have watched in 99 great review great collection totally hardcore
Thank you for such a fun time. I planned on putting this on in the background and get some stuff done around the house and almost instantly stopped what I was doing because i couldn't take my eyes off the screen and I wanted to devote my full attention to listening.
Congrats fellas! This is a great episode.

This was awesome! We need more hour long ones like this.
Woo congrats on 50k!!
Damn Brian! What an amazing ECW collection!!
I’m from Pittsburgh so we have ECW on late night tv and they would come to the Golden Dome and then eventually the old convention center. I was so passionate about old school ECW!!
That’s awesome. I’m from NY, and ECW had such a great Northeast base from PA, NY, CT, MA, etc.
I remember seeing the commercials for these action figures during episodes of ECW on TNN as a kid and always wanting them but for some reason they were never sold in Canada
I’m so happy you guys made 50K subscribers! I’ve been dying to see this video!
Sandman was supposed to be the 6th figure of Series 2 like Matt said. That's why the Sandman figure that comes out super fast after he returns to ECW from WCW is chubby and not ripped like he was in WCW. The mold was sculpted from his original run
congrats! 50k!

i have watched this in segments 5-10 mins at a time because i don't want it to end
Been waiting on this. Love ur podcast and i don't like podcast or collect. Just love ur guys passion. Much success in all you do.
50K??? Congrats boys!
Hey guys, i am still a huge ecw fan. Several loose figures, vhs tapes,t shirt, magazines and memories of the promotion that changed the direction of pro wrestling, ec fn w! Btw,love this channel.
I would love to see something like this for the ToyBiz WCW figures
Hell yes I wish I had these ecw figures and a ring. They were my jam. And Hasbro wwf figures, damn I might have to hit ebay.
We seriously need some more ECW elites . Eliminators , Pit bulls etc.. Dang !
50k! Congrats
Rewatching this after the Draft episode to see who can possibly show up.
such a dope video!
BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!
Appreciable work
Love the Danny Quirk mention =) You should show off any custom figs you own in an upcoming episode
My favorite ECW figs were the Shane Douglas and the Buh Buh ones. I think I loved the articulation of Shane and the size of Buh Buh. In fact, I have this memory of going to a family function and just for funsies I brought my Shane figure with me. God, I miss my figures, lol
Great episode! Love 0SFT figures! Keep the good work guys!
this is without a doubt my favourite channel on youtube please never stop GANG GANG
omg I had that titantron with the figures with the metal bits that played their themes. It was AWESOME!
The New Jack Jussie Smollett Fig lol because it comes with a noose around his neck🤣🤣 21:08
Ya know, I wouldn't mind if you guys did this full time. I really enjoy you guys!
This is awesome! Finally get to see some of the figures you guys talk about.

They really didnt like ECW that suprises me
Amazing video.
Awesome video!
Yea, they never made a Amish Roadkill figure lol.
Brian is the Michael Jordan of ECW collecting haha
MJ+Magic+Larry Bird +Dr J.Brian is the calmer of the two but he lit up when it comes to ECW
This is a cool/unique collection. I loved these figures as a kid to.
I have the New Jack variant they are talking about. I'm surprised they didn't find all of them considering I'm from Long Island as well about 10,15 miles east of them and found most of them on Long Island.
Hated staying up late to watch ECW and WWF ShotGun Saturday Night
Honestly I've had that exact RVD figure out of box since 2000 and the title looks exactly the same as it did brand new
The Sandman figure was meant for Series 2. That's why they had it out so quickly when he returned to ECW. It's also why his body shape is more chubby.
Love this video.
I've got a signed Mike Awesome 💥💣🔥
That Balls Mahoney figure is 1 of the most underrated wrestling figures ever. I always marked out that Axl had an actual ICP tattoo on him too
FINALLY ITS UP Conrats on 50k subs I was one of the first 2000 subs
Bout blimey time y’all get back in y’all figgah game fig talk pod cast 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Heart and soul superstar of ecw
this is sick, i had most of these back then, i got them all at dollar general, and 100% were the biggest supplement of weapons to my collection. all my wwf wrestlers were the rubber ones with the little holes on the sides.. do you know what series those would be?

I didnt know john Bradshaw layfield made speakers
BOOOOOOOO
Hey guys, great episode! I have 2 RVD Thrill Zone figures, mint on card, one has a belt and the other one doesn't. You didn't mention anything special about this figure so I was just wondering what you thought. Looking to sell those and all my ECW figures except my autographed Corino. They're all sealed on card and I have most all outside of about 5 or so or the Target exclusives.
Where are you gonna sell them at?
Hey Brian & Zack, Did you know the missing figure on series 2 was Shane Douglas w/short hair. That toyfare article you have stated poney tail version in series 1 then series 2 would have the short hair. Yet somehow they made the change sooner than expected.
You guys need a setup for podcast. But as usual good podcast
Dude finally I hear someone say the original Suplex City President was Tazz the submission Suplex machine
I keep imagining the WWE hotel every night on the road is just like the team hotel in Slapshot and each night Randy Orton walks past their room, finding an open door with them and their action figures. Orton walks down to the payphone...because they still exist in 2020...calls Vince and says "they brought their fuckin' toys"
keep it in your imagination
I had the dudley boyz figures when I was a kid.
I'm around the same age dudes and same thing, it was the hardest thing ever to stay up for ECw!
The worst is when you would stay up and it wouldn't be on that week for whatever reason. It was hit or miss on my stations
@@THAGZA85 Yeah, it was the same thing in my area, Oakland, CA.
@@justafanofnerdculture7602 I'm only about an hour outside of philly but it was on a New York channel from what I remember
THAGZA85 Seems like we all had the same issues, regarding the late night, infrequent airings of the show across the country.
When I moved closer to Philly when I was 9 it was on 6 pm on sportschannel on Tuesdays! Weekly dinners with New Jack!
"Part time WWE Superstar"
I HATE THAT. :(
Just got home from driving 5 hours, I'm still gonna watch this before sleep tho 👍
No DQ's when watching anything ECW
I also remember watching ECW late into the night at a local NY channel
Mario U Comics and Cartoons I used to find it either on channel 31 or MSG
Why does Corino look like Al Snow now lol
Can you guys do more podcast with some kind of video with it?
The ecw toys are new to me i need to get some
My guesses for the missing fig in series 2 would be bam bam, maybe meanie depending when they left for wcw and wwf respectively..
Hawkins said the Kay-Bee at the Hicksville mall :O. I was picking up the McFarlane figures there. They always had awesome clearance sales.
