Jon from Ringside is my new favorite human being. His appearance in this vlog was as good if not better than his interview with the fellas a few months ago.
David Andersen Hawkins tried his best to not like Jon shine when he would explain the origins of each figure. That was driving me crazy how he would interrupt after asking the question.
I had the flash mysterio & the great american bash Guerrero & when i got older i gave my collection to my nephews but i kept the Eddie cuz he died shortly before i got rid of my figures & i wanna say he was the last figure i bought. & wish i woulda kept the Rey. Now i been watching these & wish i woulda kept my collection. Unfortunately i lost the Eddie a few years back. But watching these i started collecting again after a good 13-14 years of not buying any. These reignited my love for figures.
I don't listen to their pod anymore but as a LONG time figure collector, this is the GREATEST wrestling figure video I have ever seen and I have one of those signed Ultimate Warrior shoot interview DVD's.
If you look 16:15 at the outer box of that set of figures at it has a mcmahon with another superstar in every corner. I WONDER if those pairings on each side of the box were the original 4 sides for the Wrestlemania 2000 main event?
I remember in the 90s on my 4th birthday I had got wwe ring with hogan and ultimate warrior I was so excited then a week later we had a flood because we had a bayou in the backyard and ruined all my stuff
As someone who started watching WWF like a year prior to the Invasion angle and stopped watching religiously towards the end of the Ruthless Agression/WWECW era, I think my main wrestling figure nostalgia comes from the face scan Jakks, pre Get The F Out toys. Thankfully a somewhat attainable goal if I ever wanted to get into collecting them again. The type of stuff you guys look for just seems like you could spend a lifetime and a lifetime's worth of income!
Its hilarious to me that like 80% of all figures from any line and any company are just sitting in a warehouse somewhere cause Cpt Sweatpants cant let em go 😂. We should raid the warehouses 🤣
As a wrestling fan, toy collector, Filmmaker, and comic con promoter....I love this episode so much. You guys ever want to come to a Mighty Con, let me know. But, also...if your ever in the Chicago/Streamwood area...I know some hidden gem toy spots! Don’t need to film anything, I truly just do what you guys do....it would rock to hunt with y’all!

That bone cruncher shawn michaels at 7:30 was my first ever wrestling figure, i was about 3 or 4, i used to call him macho man, i didnt know who it was, and i didnt watch wrestling at the time so idk where that came from, but it was thanks to this channel and the podcast that i finally found out what line the figure was from.
I notice that the huge collection of that WWF a family divided, that there wasn't no Big Show in the box, just his picture on the side of the box. That it was Kurt Angle instead.

FYI , the last batch of Series 1 Jeff Hardy was found at a Texas Mattel store. They had a couple. (This was years ago).
