I can’t speak for the slash but as a previous 150 owner I can tell you that it is a capable descender and climbs shockingly well however it breaks easy and the frame is extremely flexy, so if you’re over 200 pounds like me, you’re going to find this bike feeling a bit like a noodle

I personally think that the biggest problem of the Capra is that YT is still not understanding that they have a very progressive rear suspension and therefore need to use a linear coil shock to make the rear end feel not so hard.
The thing (or the Mk2 did anyway) sends huge drops and jumps though, I personally love how progressive YT's designs are and can live with a bit less off the top suppleness on chattery techy stuff to have a bike that basically never fully bottoms out no matter what you chuck it off. Bring on the Ebikes
I don't know but first time I feel that the YT has downgrade the bike and it looks very basic though in comparison to these competitor.
I tried the transition and specialized enduro but the 2022 Yt Capra is way more plush and responsive
Wish the dreadnought was in there! I bet it would of won the race

Do a trail bike test
Why no canyon strive?
Likely bc Canyon hasn't changed anything substantial with the bike in a few years.
@@siebitup That makes sense still. I would wonder how it would compete against updated bikes.
@@piercesmith9128 Yeah for real, I do wish there was some yearly massive group test where they're all compared.
I feel like the Ripmo doesn’t get nearly enough love here on PB from mike and mike cycles, now that you’re opening your own shop we should try and change that….
They can only really feature 4-5 bikes on these multitests and they tend to focus on new designs (new for 2022). There's literally dozens of bikes in this category but lots of them have been the same for a few years and so they won't be featured in the 2022
Forget Transition they don't even know if will be in stock before Summer.
Hey guys after my friend crashed my bike it will probably be a total loss and I will have to find a new bike. Actually I wanted to buy the YT Capra Uncaged 9 but you guys didn't really like it and now I'm unsure.
With a budget of €3800, what other alternatives would there be? Because the Transition or the Norco are way out of my budget.
It would be cool if someone could give me a tip
The Deore Spire is $3800 (unsure of the price conversion), I've talked to someone who is very happy with theirs. I've struggled myself to find other bikes that provide the same level of value at that price point.
@@LastAphelion In Germany it coast 4600€ that is to much😭
That's unfortunate, I hope you can find something good. It's probably the same story with import price but right now SLX Ripmo AF is on sale here for under that price too
0:13 shiver me timbers
Enduro for me as well.
Therefore I pick the Commencal Meta...
I can tell how hard they are trying to satisfy all the sponsors/brands
Specialized enduro is the best enduro bike ever made and it’s hard to find something that is quite like its
