Good to see you back Joe! Can't wait to hear about Japan. Loving all the plates today (wouldn't mind a tour of your lovely crockery). Wish we had bulk bins like you guys do - I've seen some for home cleaning products and cosmetics here and there, but not food - such a great idea! Sending hugs.
Glad you enjoyed your trip! Looking forward to hearing about it. I heard about adding plain tvp to just about anything so I tried it. I buy the NOW organic tvp. I sprinkled it on top of my bean pasta/marinara/veggie bowl to get extra protein. It was delicious! You can add it to salads, basically sprinkle it on anything to up the protein. No need to soak it. Who knew?
Do you mix pea protein with rice protein to get a complete amino profile? I've been making my own that way on a 70/30 ratio to ensure no flavourings or sugars and use it for loads of recipes.
I love the meati cutlets. I served the steak to a meat eater thinking they’d love it and I was wrong. First time I had a guest not eat my food. Glad I’m not alone in loving this product.
I tried to get one of my students to try a vegan ramen and japan and he already told himself he would hate it before he ever tasted it. I think thats what meat eaters do to themselves. So silly, right?
I like your breakfast plates - the plates are classic. You could add refried beans to the burrito for extra flavor and protein. Top with a bit of salsa for a breakfast burrito bomb!
I could not add beans or I would go over the 1400 calories limit for that day. But it would be a great additions for sure. Tim has more calories each day than I do and thats a good option.
Hi Joey and Tim! LOVE your videos and recipes. I’m having an issue finding your meat crumbles meatloaf video and recipe. Please can you tell me which episode I can find it? Thank you!
I’m curious about those patties. I’ve seen them in the store but I never know if these kind of products are good. I’ll be interested in trying them. I love mushrooms so I think I might like them. Thanks for showing them.
I love chickpea omelettes, but they don't compare to tofu in the amount of protein you get and they increase the calories greatly. So for now, that option is out for me. We do need to take the time to sear burrito shells for sure. Thanks so much for commenting. We appreciate you
Great video. Give us name of mushroom patties and where you get them. I listen as I am walking an hour so i miss seeing food. Happy you had a great trip.
Looking forward to hearing about your trip. Food looks great, unfortunately I can’t eat meati products. They taste great but make me violently ill. Love the tofu scramble as a burrito. A must try!😊
Someone else just told me the same thing happens to them because they are allergic to mycelium. I never heard of that before. Does the same thing happen if you eat just regular mushrooms?
Just a side note on meati products....some people may be allergic to mycelium. Came across this issue and was violently ill. Come to find out that some of us have this reaction. Just be careful.

These videos are so helpful! I get board easy, & these give me new ideas!
You two cracked me up about kids leaving their video games to break tofu❣️🤣
I am so glad you had a good experience on the Japan trip! ❤
These videos are so helpful! You both look great!
Thanks so much!!
You guys are absolute icons.
I love the meati products! Thanks for calling attention to them.
Great meals guys 🎉🎉🎉 you must try my Seitan buns Joey! They are a game changer. You will love it!

I had no idea about the not needing to soak it!

Hi, did your guest know it was not meat?

Like how you show and tell so much in a half hour+ video😊
I appreciate that!

Holy Cow!!! Thank you for responding to my query! Appreciate you and Tim sharing your recipes and journey.
adding hummus to the burrito would work too. Thanks for a great video
Absolutely!

I hate mushrooms and I love them. They don't have the taste of mushrooms.
CHICKPEA FLOUR VEGGIE OMELETTES are a yummy alternative to the tofu veggie scramble. 😋 🤤 Also searing the burrito 🌯 (is crunchy less messy) great. 😊

I really like the high protein tofu from Trader Joe's. It's simply regular tofu with water squished out of it so it's denser.
Yeah I like that about it too
Great video. Give us name of mushroom patties and where you get them. I listen as I am walking an hour so i miss seeing food. Happy you had a great trip.
They are the "Eat Meat" frozen patties made from the mushroom root. We get them at Fry's (Kroeger)

No. I love mushrooms.
I live in Arizona Surprise area and my Safeway has Sumo oranges for less. About $3.99 a lb. I was able to get them for less with the J4U app.
Oh wow, thats a deal for sure.
😂love you crazy guys ❤❤
The soy free tofu is super great for protein and way lower in calories and you get a larger serving. It’s big mountain foods.
Is that the fave bean tofu? We did a video on that a while ago
@@PlantBasedDads it is. I must have missed that. I’ll go watch now. 😊
What tortilla are you using?
Tim is using the ones from Costco.
Just a side note on meati products....some people may be allergic to mycelium. Came across this issue and was violently ill. Come to find out that some of us have this reaction. Just be careful.
Someone else just mentioned that also. I had never heard of that.
The yogurt make a great sour cream!!!
Yes, for sure.
I can’t eat gluten, so seitan is out for me.
Yep, that wont be an option at all.
Remind Tim: Satine is the courtesan played by Nicole Kidman in Moulin Rouge and seitan is the plant based protein. 😂🤣
I told him. Come what may..... ;)
