Unbelievable story of a man who was genetically sick addicted to drugs food and alcohol weighs over 400 pounds and yet finds the discipline and motivation to become plant-based lose all that weight get off all the drugs and inspire other people is just an amazing amazing story and kudos to him. That’s so awesome. Wishing him and his family continued success you totally rock.
As great as this is… This guy was not a Carnivore he was a Junk Food junkie… If you go to meatrx you will hundreds of people just eating meat and having the same miraculous transitions many of them after being destroyed by veganism.
My wife and I tell our friends and family about how great we are feeling after being on the WFPB diet for almost three years now, but we get the same reaction from all of them. Once they see that they need to give up meat and dairy, they are horrified. I can see why it takes extreme conditions for many people to make the change. It's really a testament about how addictive processed, and high saturated fat foods control most of us. We continue to spread the word to anyone that's willing to listen.
Not just addictive but they are part of the culture, almost religiously,to the point that people's reaction towards you not eating these things is likened to them reacting to you being in some crazy cult.
@@crankiemanx8423 yep, even funnier when they try to say the vegan diet is like a religion, because people are so passionate able it. Kinda true, because we know how much better you will feel once you make the change, and we are so excited to share that info.
Also look up H.O.P.E The Project with similar stories of WFPB eating. My husb and I eat by science vs social labels - happens to be mainly plant based/blue zone.
Great story Tim ! I also save my life with juice fasting for 9 month ! And 6 years later, I'm still juicing, being vegan and has my best life ! Greetings from France
His transformation is great. Motivating many other people. My grandma was vegan, she never took any supplements. Listening to all this meat eaters, I feel proud to be born in strick Hindu family. Never ate animals. Trying to cut dairy now.
This was an excellent interview, but the point Tim made near the end, about how overhauling your diet and finding health isn't the goal, but rather using your health to live life more fully, was profound, and not something one hears in these testimonials, usually. Well done to him and his family, and thanks to you for posting!
Becoming a vegan made me feel so much gratitude and thankfulness, I've always been an animal lover, and environmental advocate, was a vegetarian for years but realized that was not enough. Thank you for your love Tim, you are such an inspiration and hopeful guide.
Me too! Once I “saw the light” and considered what my choices were doing to the animals, there was no going back! I’ve been vegan for 16+ years, and every day, as I prepare my meals, I celebrate the fact that I am deliberately making compassionate choices. The health benefits and lesser environmental impact are welcome side-effects of compassion. Good for you! And thank you!
Tim Kaufman has been on a magnificent journey - I loved listening to his story and his transformation. I’m inspired to go deeper into my own journey - now 1 1/2 years into it.
This was the most inspirational vegan story I’ve ever watched, and I’ve watched many. It made me cry to see he and his wife running together. My husband had health issues and we both started 2 months ago. We are also high school sweethearts and have 4 kids to fight for. We have both lost weight and feel amazing. We are never looking back
This is so inspiring. I am in awe of what he and his wife have done. Look at the happiness in his face as he tells his story🤍👍🏻Good on you!!! Greetings from Amsterdam🌷
Love the honesty that runs right through this. So glad he found something that will keep him around, positively influencing others. Serious positive role model. Thanks.
I'm 61 and vegan. Went vegan 6 years ago. Saw what the Standard American Diet did to my parents and grandparents. That's why I changed, in addition to not wanting to harm animals in order to survive.
Subscribed to fat Man rants on youtube, tho I'm really not going to be a customer. Just subscribed to show support. Inspiring story and hits a little too close to home with a significant person in my life. That person is an unapologetic carnivore with painful joints, knee reconstructions, painkillers etc. The death of his father netted giving up smoking, but I don't know what would have to happen to get him to realise its his diet that's killing him now. I cook vegan food every day, but no one but me eats it, they all hate it. None so blind as he who likes a steak.
Wow, what a remarkable story. The fact that he's still alive, let alone thriving is seriously impressive. What a testament to him and the ability of the body to heal. Way to go Tim!
Wow! Amazing story! Thank you for sharing this! I never really had a weight or health problem, but often toyed with becoming a vegetarian. 10+ years ago, I watched Forks over Knives (and since then, several other documentaries), and slowly worked my way to WFPB. It's 5+ year now (or more) I am an endurance athlete (triathlon) and feel great. I'm 63 years old. I don't want to push/preach my life choices on anyone else (as I wouldn't them to preach to preach to me) but when you hear this story - I really makes me want to share it with others. Congratulations to Tim and his family! And thanks for sharing your journey!
TOTAL Cholesterol !!!!!!!! WOW!!!! So amazing. You and your wife are heroes.Thank you for this inspiring story. I also have had great results on a vegan diet!
I'm not sure how accurate that total cholesterol number was. I will try to do a follow up with more details on his blood panel but it really doesn't matter. There's no need for me to hyper fixate on details that may not translate into much beyond anecdotal. It's just great he found his way into thriving on whole plant foods ❤ thanks for watching and commenting!
Remarkable story told in such a pleasant, articulate way. He has a big heart and it is inspiring to consider what waves of transformation will come of his own experience.
I have shared this video with my son, I really hope this will be a lightbulb moment for him. - I have every hope your video will do this for him - thankyou
What a great story. Climbing mountains instead of being in a wheel chair. This has so much compelling information. The best Plant Based video by far I have or possibly ever will see. Thank you so much
An incredible story. I do have to admit that every time i hear about people suffering and dying from cancer and other health issues, living off medications...it fills me with sadness. Being a very empathic individual seeing anyone suffer from any illness is very sorrowful for me. To think that most of that could be prevented by a balanced WFPB diet and that people are so ignorant or unaware of it is even more painful. But i do not judge, we all live and learn, it's only a shame that for so many it's too late :( Imagine all that lives that could have been saved, even this man's family members if their lifestyle choices had taken a healthier route.
I'm so not into inspirational stories but Tim's story I just couldn't stop listening to. Tim you are an amazing person, congratulations to your achievements and I wish you all the happiness and health for the rest of your life. 💕 Thank you for sharing your story!
That's so sweet, thank you so much for watching and commenting. That means a lot because I do all this on my own alone and it's very taxing on every level. It's comments like these that keep me going! :)

I had a client with EDS and after trying everything she found relief in high weight strength training, which makes a lot of sense. Build muscle to support the joints.
