it annoys man be that some "opion" from court tv - like t was evidence of violence.....even still (i mean WTF??). But they (she) didnt seem to se or think that men can be victim of abuse from woman or that the photo was altred as the evidence did sjow. I tgoth the same doing the trial, so i didnt like that - she is a victim when she was in fact an abuser (who also abused her ex wife too) So maybe be a little more thoughtfull next time, so glad JD was able to thell the world , that i a man is a vitim of dv from AH. JD team was all amazing :)

Thank you, Court TV for covering this trial. This is part of a larger cultural battle of whether "innocent until proven guilty" has any meaning at all for males. The women's movement doesn't want males to have it. I am a woman, and originally supported MeToo, but Johnny Depp's case exposed their real agenda and I will never support them ever again. They have openly said that they don't care whether innocent males end up arrested or imprisoned because they see it as a means to an end. But "innocent until proven guilty" is what I choose to support.

The guy literally dressed up as his character to go visit sick children in hospitals for hours. They set Mr. Depp up by calling the cops but the first attempt didn't do the trick. The officers came to the penthouses, thoroughly searched and interviewed, and left after seeing no damage to face or property. So Amber and her friends spilled a little wine and roughed the place up, got their stories straight under the direction of a lawyer and publicist, and then placed a second call to 911;"
Basically all this says is that they staged the scene, and the jury found that they didn't. This in no way implies that Depp was partially responsible for any abuse, and is not inconsistent with finding Heard was the abusive one in the relationship.
As a matter of fact, Heard lost on the following 2 statements, either of which would have been more supportive of the narrative that Depp was abusive. But the jury did not find either of these statements untrue:
      (1) Adam Waldman, while acting as an agent for Mr. Depp, made or published the following statement: "Amber Heard and her friends in the media use fake sexual violence allegations as both a sword and shield, depending on their needs. We were not surprised by anything other than the accusations of abuse she laid on him. To be honest, I stopped watching his movies and interviews after her accusations until the audio came out in the UK trial. So many of us were so frustrated by the UK decision. This VA trial brought a happy ending for us. Watching the trial, whenever any of the sites did polls, over 90% of the people believed Johnny and it was always closer to 1 or 2% who believed Amber. In many ways, this case showed that the truth could prevail and that the country could agree on something. It was my favorite event of the year.

Elaine was just being a good foot soldier and representing her client as she wished right down to the sketchiness, for better or worse. AH's deposition lawyer in 2016 took that same sketchy and outright obnoxious posture, too. Elaine though like many others, has been burned and now, disregarded. I'm sure privately she regrets this whole thing. Her payment is going to be tied up and the insurance litigation is going to take years. I agree with Camille and feeling bad for Elaine. She was way out of her element being first chair. She's a settlement lawyer that brags she seldomly goes to trial. When she does go to trial, she gets sucked into the surly Amber Heard vortex. She had no chance with AH dictating everything, and anytime Elaine tried to develop a strategy AH, went her own way on the stand. I can imagine a client that destroys their own case, few things are more frustrating to a legal team. It showed you JD's team knew what would happen and they were ready for it. Elaine was blindsided and AH kept digging holes, and AH's team's all-around 'this is hopeless' showing there was no cohesive strategy at the top. All the work AH's supplemental lawyers put in was being blown up by the client, and they had nothing to respond to. NOTHING. They couldn't help Elaine because, with the facts on JD's side. All they could do is run damage control and ramble on about dinner and drinks as well as a fifteen minutes of fame. This will be a case study of when to decline taking on a client for new aspiring lawyers, I'd think.

Most men don't like to hit back and don't want to admit they are abused and women like Amber take advantage of that. In non-reciprocal cases of IPV, women are the perpetrators 70% of the time. FYI, the Amber is a narcist, and her supporters are what you would call "flying monkeys". As a narcist, Amber only keeps friends who swear loyalty to her, and you can bank on it that anyone in her circle that breaks loyalty to her is cast off. Often destroyed too. Camille correctly pointed out that Amber burns bridges. Very true, her "friends" of that period of time basically bailed on her. Not surprising.
Amber lost in this trial due to stupidity. But stupidity is just next door to criminal. Amber has to cast blame on anyone and everyone for anything that doesn't go her way in life. Johnny wanted a divorce and Amber had to make him the monster and turn it on him. Hence the TRO to make him a monster in order to make herself a victim. The stupidity was that she thought she could try him in the public court instead of a real court and Johnny correctly dragged it into a proper court to handle it once and for all.
Amber made her bed and has to sleep in it. In the days since these videos, it seems Amber has recognized that she's run out of resources to try to claw out of the cesspool she's in, has settled the judgement and both sides agreed and have withdrawn all appeals. Her insurers, however, are still in litigation about the legal costs and one of them is in litigation against her for the legal costs because she lost the case. We'll hear about that in the coming year.
It's over for Johnny, Amber still has to clean up her mess. Stupid girl.

Amber did not come across as genuine at all. She is lying.
I am a child abuse survivor, and my mother was a domestic violence victim. I also work with domestic violence victims and mental health and addictions. And one of my job duties is advocating for DV victims by accompanying them in court for their testimonies. And just listening to Amber was so triggering for me. I tried to listen with hopes she was a real abuse victim and instead I felt this gut punch of disgust and hurt. I was so upset to see this woman misrepresenting real victims of domestic violence and lying and faking real trauma. She is no victim here.
From my personal and professional experience with domestic violence and mental health, each person to a degree responds differently to abuse as a victim, but there are still key indicators of common response and behaviour we exhibit and in how we express ourselves when we discuss our trauma. And Amber does NOT exhibit anything remotely resembling a real abuse victim. She definitely is not an abuse victim here. She is being deceptive and lying. It is very obvious.
First of all, a real victim of domestic violence would never look at the jury constantly and be so physically animated when describing their story of being a victim especially, when they recount specific incidences. This does not happen in court cases. As I said I have been a victim’s advocate accompanying them to court to help support them when they give their testimony or speaking for them on their behalf. And I have never ever seen a real abuse victim behave the way Amber does in court.

Agree with absolutely everything you said; I’m a DV/SA survivor who went through absolute h3ll with my children’s father; then, after he kidnapped them and disappeared overseas, I became a certified DV/SA Counselor and advocate. How did I get myself into 2 DV Marraiges? When you are brought up by a violent narcissistic mother who blames you and your father for everything and anything, real or imagined…you have no self esteem and believe the screams that you don’t deserve love, happiness, security or children. My mother was diagnosed with BPD in 1997 when a psych friend of mine convinced her that she had to go through some testing if she wanted to involuntary commit me (for life..because I refused to divorce my 2nd husband and “take him and his family for everything we can get”-my “mother”. My 2nd, and last, husband was emotionally abusive..he couldn’t keep his zipper up, was as insecure as I was and also suffered from low self esteem. A marriage neither of us should have gotten into before straightening our own Self’s out). Unfortunately, when Charlie advised my mother, as gently as he could, that she needed help, that her whole family was supportive and wanted her to get help..she destroyed Charlie’s office, was taken out by local PD, went home and destroyed my dads room and went after him, and I stayed with friends (I lived out of town..she and my Dad had driven 9hrs to duct tape me, drag me back to my hometown, to demand I divorce my husband who was out of town on business. And yes, neighbors witnessed it and I begged them not to call authorities). She got out of the charges, like most with BPD, blamed me and my Dad, and used her money to avoid any consequences.
I’m not into celebrity culture, still have never seen Johnny Depp in a movie and likely wouldn’t have even watched the trial except my eldest was here for a week, complaining I don’t have a TV, BUT would jump into bed with me and her big laptop (I’d had health issues) and played the trial. ALL I knew was some pre-trial piece, I think by court TV, That focused on the video, statements and articles portraying Depp as some evil monster. Oh, and I remember hearing that Depp had been proven, in court, in the UK to have been an abuser. I don’t even think it was a week before I realized this wasn’t going to be what we thought it was..then, when SHE testified? 🤯🤬
My primary concern is for a little girl who has a very sick mother. And I know both from personal experience, as well as studying BPD and talking to friends who are psychologists..getting them into treatment is rare; even rarer is them actually complying with treatment, especially if they have money. I also know that the child being born from a surrogate gives AH an..”excuse”, if you will, to abuse her daughter …whether that’s physical or emotional. The fact that she still can’t accept that Johnny left and refused to be the victim of her every complaint; that she’s still having issues keeping relationships, and that she has NO remorse for the terrible things she’s put everyone around her through… I REALLY hope her family, SOMEONE is keeping a close watch on that little girl.

Absolutely Julie, not at all feasible. So she never put a foot wrong, according to her. Ughhhh, just ridiculous. At least Johnny owned his stuff - so much more credible.

@@benji303 Amber Heard never claimed that she never put a foot wrong. And during her post-trial interview, she again claimed that she had behaved in ways that were horrible. It was actually Johnny Depp who claimed that he had never hit Amber Heard, but the jury didn't actually believe him. The anonymous juror who spoke to the media admitted that they *did* think that Johnny Depp had abused Amber Heard. So why was Johnny Depp granted damages? This contradiction was not answered, and Camille Vasquez never addressed the fact that she actually failed to convince the jury that Johnny Depp was never violent.

Sorry vinnie. I like Camille, but it wasn't legal talent that buried Ambypants, it was her own obviously exaggerated lies. Her story had all the credibility of wet one-ply toilet paper. A gentle breeze could collapse that house of cards. Asking for truth from a narcissist was her kryptonite. The woman would make a jury question whether rain was wet just by insisting she drowned in it. She'd almost complain she hurt her knuckles on JD's face. A skilled lawyer would have directly asked Amber "are you drinking alcohol in court" or "are you intoxicated right now" or "how much cocaine have you used today" because it's easy to spot that she's constantly wired. The perry mason moment that was missing was "isn't it true that you lose control of your temper due to your chemical dependency?" Elaine was a TERRIBLE lawyer, you could predictably object to her every inept question.

    • @zoso1980
      @zoso1980 Год назад +5

I wonder, was that a tactical decision not to explore AH's chemical dependency? It was inferred, but it almost seemed rather than do a deep dive about AH's blatant drug consumption both illegal and ones with side effects like Seroquel, they wanted to focus on poking every hole they could to leave all credibility in tatters. That said, it still appalls me that she asserted her nose problems were to due to JD. Gee, perhaps a decade of being raging coke head (which has been asserted by people who knew her before 2009) seems far more likely to be the culprit.
