Thanks for tips on how to move text within the same Microsoft document (there are other FAST ways also: Cntrl C for Copy, and Cntrl V for paste). BUT... You are NOT limited to moving text within the document-- you can paste ("Cntrl V") into OTHER documents, too-- even in other programs. Example: copy from Open Office Writer (it's supposed to be mostly like Windows Word), to a Quattro Pro document (Corel's spreadsheet). A separate problem for me: How on earth can I use "Snip" to copy a partial screenshot DIRECTLY to my word document, like I was able to for 2 decades?! I almost never need to reuse Snipped material, so pasting it to the Clipboard (which Windows 11 requires?) is a huge waste of time (and memory?). If it's an image I want to save for misc uses, it's easy to save it in my photo folders under Humor, Animals, Politics, Repairs, Hair Styles...whatever.
Apple Support says: To quickly reuse text, copy it in one location and paste it to another. Select the text to copy. Choose Edit > Copy (from the Edit menu at the top of your screen), or press Command-C. Note: If you want to remove the text from its original location, choose Edit > Cut instead.
How great is that tip, thanks! And I've been using Word for decades and didn't know it. Wow!

How do I find the clipboard on this phone? 3:36
Can I not use the clipboard?
Hello. Thanks. Macbook/ macOS doesn't move text when a word is high-lit and the virtual F2 button is initiated. The word disappears.
