I turn 49 next week and the thought of going in to my 50's in the best shape possible is a huge motivation! I also get a ton of motivation from watching your channel and others on RUclips, especially on those days when I might be feeling like im getting a little old, lol. Thank you guy and please keep posting these videos, it helps me keep my head in the game!
Just had open heart surgery to replace a valve. The infection I got caused the heart issue and kidney issues I’m having. I’m motivated to keep going because my numbers are improving. Anything is possible. I’m not into competing but I want to be healthy and look and feel better.
Having severed for over 24 years in the military I have suffered from anxiety most of my military career hitting the weights and getting an hours of relief is what motivates even know as I am retired. Having people like Jay putting out great motivation information and jus being a all around amazing person is also what motivates me to keep push to achieve my goals.
I think jaywalking is so good because you can listen while doing other things you don’t have to “watch” the video you can have it on in the background while you’re taking care of things
THANK YOU JAY 69 GOING TO 70 TRY WORKING OUT 5 DAYS A WEEK IN THE MORING MY MOTIVATION MAKES ME FEEL GOOD FOR THE REST OF THE DAY JAY THANK YOU FOR THE INSPIRATIONAL WORK OUT VIDEOS.
I hit 40 and thought it was all but over. Found your RUclips and saw how you have maintained a healthy balance of body, mind and finances and it reignited a post 40 fire. A big thanks to both of you for the work and time you put in to this content.
My motivation is thinking of people who are different than me and also helping them out get further in life and what they're dreams and hopes are so that I can help. I'm not selfish and like to work hard. FACTS ARE FACTS
I had every magazine Jay was ever in, I had the posters, went to the shows, met Jay a couple times, trained in the same gym. They say don’t meet your idols. I say surround yourself with the people that are chasing the same dreams as you. We’re all brothers in iron, and if I had to do life all over again tomorrow, I’d head straight to the gym and start all over again
@ Jay .. I watch you here 95% of the time, also Insta. You’re down to Earth, very positive and I like the way you genuinely enjoy helping people, whether it’s just being positive to others or workout wise (exercise tips etc). I find you motivating and that’s why I follow you. PS.. love the jay walking 👍💪🙏
My motivation is the transformation in the mirror and feeling healthy the best I can be everyday. Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler influences almost everybody I know with that lifestyle!
You’re absolutely right Jay. I know I worked out better at my gym, I thought it was the environment of people doing their workouts. But you are right about the chaotic afternoons, they don’t motivate me more, I enjoy my workouts more with less people, it really allow me to focus more and hit all the machines. Getting lost into the workouts. Thank you for the motivation Jay. Also it’s nice that you FaceTimed your father, enjoy those calls! ,,, I turn 30 this month and my dad is at the end of his life now on hospice after battling cancer. Working out is an escape but is also super hard to balance my fitness with being there to care for him all while working a full time job. . . Anyways enjoy Vegas! I lived in Green Valley for 10 years. I miss it very much. God bless.
Between RUclips and Facebook celebrity pages.. but MAINLY RUclips. The Jaywalking segments are awesome... and offer us so much. Much appreciated! And im your age, so for myself, I always continue to learn, and to learn from the BEST is always the best way! THANKS!!!!
Jay is probably my biggest motivation outside of my family. I am not a bodybuilder nor do I want to be. But, I want to be the best version of myself and Jay makes me want to work towards that. Thank you Jay for what you do and please keep it going!
Love how you spoke about your mind and training here. I watch your videos to inspire and inform me. Newly obsessed with body building, you and Angie are great teachers. Thank you!
Having suffered from severe anxiety most of my adult life just hitting those weights and getting an hour’s relief is what motivates me, I’m 47 now and trying to get into my best shape ever by the time I’m 50 is also a motivator.
I've been training for 27 years, and was in the best shape of my life two years ago at 43, I also hit an all time bench press PB of 230kg raw last week at 44 years old, so don't let age be a false limitation.
I made working out the reason to become healthier many times. I also left it and really made it out that gutter by myself and than came back to just become stronger for myself. I want to become the best that I can be. I don't like to overdo things either. That feels unhealthy and so does giving up. I want people to get a fair shot and we deserve to know the truth.
Jay's videos are a motivation. I'm actually a severe alcoholic/addict. Before the addiction however, I loved going to the gym. I would go when I was 14/15 years old. Love the gym but the only thing that keeps me from it is addiction. The brief times when I am sober, is when I am consistently going to the gym. It'll only lasts months, but I get so dedicated to it that I usually end up bigger than more than 2/3 of the guys in there after awhile. I must be doing something right when I can stick to the goal....The gym and being muscular and in shape is the only thing that I ever choose OVER alcohol or my drug of choice.
Honestly dude for me it’s RUclips because I don’t like to be on social media I’d rather be in the shadows putting in the work. I grew up on your DVDs and Ronnie and others and it inspired me then. But now I watch everything here and there’s so much more available information thanks to guys like you. I’ve always idolized you, and many of the top pros so to see you getting through life besides the gym is also a motivation. But what’s most motivating to me is watching ANYONE putting in insane amounts of work and wanting more of themselves,/demanding more of themselves. Your work ethic is what inspires me the most because the clock is always ticking and you can’t waste one single second of it. I watch you and guys like Tom Platz and I listen to the words and close my eyes sometimes just to let it all absorb, and then try to pull out those sayings or advice in my head when I’m pushing myself into failure. When I don’t want to do another I think about your work ethic and what would you do? And it motivates me to get it done.
My motivation: I just recently bought a bunch of land in Philippines. Building a future for the wife and I. The property will allow us to do so much and really build a business. If you want something in life, dont sit there and talk about it. Go after it, and this is something we have wanted to do for a long time.
People are so scared of change. Bodybuilding is all about working toward change which is why I love doing it. Your videos are great. You and Dave are quite the team. Hopefully see you two at the Olympia! Angie did great too! Morton steaks are the best. Yum!!! Great post show dinner.
Hi Jay and Angie ! Enjoy your videos , relaxing and informative . I just started a exercise program , but I'm using bands ,not weights ,and your videos are interesting . I'm also 71, but in good shape .Saw your multi-vitamin that you make and that looks very good to me .Your a good guy !
My biggest motivation is myself. Honestly just seeing results. I just think it’s addicting seeing results and seeing yourself becoming a better/stronger person than you were before.
I work out alone at home . None of my friends share my vision so videos like this from You and Dave , Regan , AV , Nick Walker , Lee Priest ,Cutler Club so on so forth give me what I need to go out to my little gym and put in the work . I use all of your different workouts to keep things interesting and watch motivation videos during cardio . I'm about to be 48 so to you and everybody else please keep these videos going cause you have no idea who you are helping but we know and really appreciate it .
My motivation is seeing you going thru life with your self drive and motivation for your life , with your healthy lifestyle to your mind set on any goal you get involved in. Jay with all of your success that you had in your life the most awesome and motivating thing that I respect the most is that you always stayed the same humbled and authentic throughout your life it never got to your head you will always be the goat not only in bodybuilding but living life itself thank you Jay 💪
I fully understand your feeling about working out. I call it a mental reboot/refresh to bettering myself to tackle the challenges of the day. Motion changes Emotion! Your fan, Jeremy
My motivation is to finish what I started. I want to reach my body’s full potential and see what it will look like, but obviously we all struggle with obstacles and that’s why I watch Jay Cutlers RUclips channel to put me in check
My motivation comes from past anger and sadness that I have to supress deep down inside until I get into the gym. Im not sure if that is good to do or not, but it sure does help me.
YOU motivate me I’m 65 with minor pain issues that only allows 2-3 days of training per week. I walk on concrete 4-5 miles a day for work. YOU motivate me to get up and workout after a hard day of work. Love watching you on you tube and Instagram Love your RUclips videos newer ones and older ones. Your the 🐐🐐🐐🐐. FTBB.
My motivation is pushing myself to be the best I can be, to challenge myself. How good can I look at 43? That pushes me. I applied to be an ambassador for Jay because I respect what he does, and how he does it. He pushes himself and is real and just honestly a good person that cares. Watching pushes me to do better in all aspects.
Jay you are the one that gives me the motivation by watching you channel JayTv and all the videos you drop. I use and am now an ambassador with Team Cutler. That email making me a team member gave me the biggest bust of motivation I have even gotten and can at the best time also. So Thank you.
You Tube videos on watching you train, talk about the exercises, tips pointers etc. are great motivation. Also eating tips are helpful as well, say before workouts, after training eating tips. Thanks Jay and Dave
Well about motivation i really like watching hard training sessions, because observing how other people strive to achive their goals makes me fight on my own. Best regards.
100% agree with not needing to go the gym to be motivated. I have my setup at home and look forward to training every time! I do it because I want to and I love it. Motivation is temporary, discipline is a skill. Keep killing it! 💪❤️🏋️♂️🤩🤠
That was well put,Motivation is temporary and Discipline is a skill. I’ve been in a rut for a year and I’ve been saying I’m not motivated but now I see that I have been looking at it from the wrong angle. 👍🏼
Yes Jay!!! For me it is a form of therapy. I focus on what I see and feel myself do and everything Im dealing with just starts melting away. Your videos and posts are motivating but you also just come off as a real person and that makes what I hear easy to connect with. For me, the people that give the effort are motivating. From the people at Planet Fitness that try, to the older folks that outwork the younger crowd at LA Fitness, and anywhere that I see the more seasoned lifters showing something unique (yeah Im looking for new techniques) is all motivating. Thats what I enjoy. On the flipside I also run, and its a wierd thing for me. I hate running, but I enjoy the challenge and how far I can go and that is motivating. And for those who come to socialize and play with their phones more that working out, they motivate me by reminding me of what I dont want to be.
Sting gave an amazing response to why he kept himself in shape at 60 on a birthday interview I happened to see. He replied somewhat jokingly it was half discipline and half vanity. To me that sums up a lot. I want to feel strong, and I want to look good. I've been athletic my whole life, it's part of who I am and how I view myself as a person. That I'm healthy and capable, but there is also a bit of insecurity as there is for a lot of us I'm sure. I can't stand seeing myself too off, or feel like I'm vulnerable having grew up in rough spots.
What motivates me is watching your workouts which fire me up to hit the gym. The workouts, diet keep me ahead of the young guys on the ice (sledge hockey) and on the court (wheelchair basketball) Thank you!
Motivation is walking with others who inspire, often people who are much better then I. Some face to face others like your channel. Clears the mind, body and spirit.
I’m a huge of Jay have been for along time. I watch Jay TV for motivation and that also turned me on for using the products . Jay is the Best he’s a great person
My motivation is November 4, 2016. I was in a coma. Blind and paralyzed from the neck down. With 80% of brain damage. I was told I would be in a permanent vegetative state for the rest of my life. I had to learn how to walk again. I had to learn how to talk again. I had to learn how to see again. I had to learn how to walk again. And I still have difficulties with all of these things. But this is why I wake up every morning at 4 AM and hit the gym. The gym is my saving grace. The gym is my home.
My biggest motivation that I have ( currently in contest prep) is wanting to make a living with bodybuilding. Keeps me going every single day, and makes it extremely easy to live in a box and do whatever it takes.
I like the peace and tranquility of a solitary workout there’s nothing like it. Jay inspires in many ways the episode he mentioned people starting RUclips’s gave me the drive to film more of my walks 🙏
The biggest difference I've found over the years was Ronnie Coleman motivated me to go to the gym in the past. Jay's videos motivate me to take better care of myself in the gym. I respect the hell out of Ronnie Coleman, his work ethic, and his achievements. But Jay has taken such good care of himself, is healthy and walking around, looks fantastic, and doesn't take for granted how lucky he's been. That's about as good a blueprint for life during and after competing as you can find. Most inspiring!
I totally agree about what you said for the older days that motivation came from magazines, interviews and pictures. Now days i think is you tube. And i think that your video and all the things you are sharing are for sure useful and positive. Oh and congratulations for Angie 👏
This is a great video. Jay is 100% bang on for finding your motivation. It use to be for keeping up with my sons who were active and into sports now it`s being in shape to do the same for my grandson for years to come. Got to say though, at 58 and pushing myself at the gym knowing I am doing more than a lot of young bucks is motivation in itself. As Jay gets older and stays in such great shape, it`s great to see him passing advice to others to help and support us.
Keep on going Jay. Six years ago I almost checked out with cancer. Still have permanent damages, dry mouth with no taste. So, going to the gym has been my therapy as well as watching your RUclips videos. Love your products. Thanks! Felicidades a tu esposa! Orgullo Boricua 🇵🇷
I usually fallow you on you tube and while you are walking or working out with others I am working out to. Most time in my living room I have a small gym and I love to see you push out sets and reps and hear the wight and plates going on and off makes me feel like I am right there working out with you to. That's what I look forward and motivate me to get my workout done, and I got to tell you the truth Dave also motivate me to, and for that I thank you both.
I think my greatest motivation comes from my life experiences and seeing how I took on those challenges that were coming my way ignoring the bs finding a way to focus on the light that 's maintaining peace has been a huge source of motivation for me to become a bodybuilder and the best version of myself
Hell yes the gym is a place to go to escape. Its you VS you. I also do it cause Im a disabled vet with some rather serious internal issues that have popped up over the years. Got to stay healthy.
From what little I have been learning about Jay, he had a dream and a goal and he went out and battled against some of the biggest names in BB and did not get intimidated and just went for it, what I get from Jay, focus don't give a shit what people say and get after it. Congrats to him in all his success at the end of the day its about putting the work in.
My biggest motivation is JayTv on RUclips! 🎥🏆 You managed to take my training , my motivation and self-confidence to the next level!🍀 I've had a lot of setbacks over the past 5 years! Jay and Dave with your passion and authenticity you made it that I believe in myself again and have found my strengths again!🥇 My goal at almost 40 years of age is to be in the best shape ever before! I am so grateful for this great channel and the great people behind it! 🥇 🏋️🍀 I also follow the food and travel channel of Mark Wiens , whom I also know personally before he was as well known as it is today! If someone is also interested in food and travel, he with his channel is definitely one of the best in this segment! Thanks Jay and Dave💪🏻💯
I like to watch the channel because of the calm and collected approach while maintaining a very positive attitude towards all that has been and is approaching. As for what drives me, the feeling of living the desires I am continually reaching and growing from, personally and professionally.
Jay is super motivating, inspiring and humble! Just shows hard work, dedication & sacrifice and persistence pays off! Really appreciate the openness, honesty, transparency and advice he gives out regularly! He's been a hero/role model and someone I'd love to meet & pick his brain even for 5 minutes. Keep it up, Keep Grinding, Keep Killin' it and Keep smashing the weights & jaywalks! Appreciate it all & the time/effort that goes into it all from Jay, Dave & Angie!
RUclips is the best outlet for information. You can learn anything from detailing cars to fixing a part of the house. Ronnie Coleman videos of him training always makes everyone want to step up their game especially in the gym. I like seeing you Jay show us proper form and exercises! The jaywalking is cool too
I always ask jay questions on Instagram and he always responds back. Thank you jay. As far as my motivation it’s the RUclips channel for sure , but I enjoy all the other platforms your on. It’s just something with you and Dave talking to each other on camera … it feels natural. It’s like we’re just tuning into a conversation with no script. Keep up the good work guys and I’m looking forward to upcoming content. Thank YOU for motivating me in the gym and outside of it.
Watching Jay interact with his fans, its no wonder he is so respected in the industry. He may not have won the most Olympia titles but in my opinion he is the goat. I have not seen any other champion who dedicates so much of himself to helping us all in our journeys. Motivation and inspiration to the maximum. Thanks Jay and congrats to Angie on her comeback win she looks amazing.
Much respect to the almighty Olympian champion Jay Cutler! Great to see you collab with Big Boy and Kali Muscle. They have mad respect for you. Would love to see you collab with Nick Walker! He said it in one of his recent videos. He's got alot of respect and admiration for you Jay! Hope you can make it happen! Congrats to Angie too! More blessings awaits you two! Cheers from Los Angeles CA USA!!
I have always trained at home except when I was in high school and was part of our weightlifting club. My first weights were concrete in paint cans back in 1958. A friend was rehabbing from a plane crash and I started training with him. We didn’t have any instruction books or anything, we just did dead lifts, probably presses and curl, don’t remember much, but I liked it. The next summer I had a job and bought a real weight set. There was an instruction booklet, illustrated with photos of George Eiferman, so I guess he was my first motivator. What was really cool, however, was that in September, right after school started, he came as part of the old National School Assembly’s program. Several of us who were on the weightlifting team, stood around out in the parking lot and visited with him for probably half an hour. I later came to appreciate that time when I learned that all those people had really hectic schedules visiting two or three schools a day, but he took the the time to talk with a bunch of really novice weightlifters who had almost no idea of what they were doing. Then Hercules hit the theaters. It was on for three days and I went every night. Those were my motivators. Bob Hoffman’s Strength and Health was another big motivator, especially for those of us who were competitive lifters, press snatch and clean and jerk. Guys like Isaac Berger and Tommy Kongo, were the guys then, and of course, John Gimek. Through those magazines I learned about the real fathers of weightlifting Eugene Sandow, Louis Cyr, and of course everybody’s hero who had ever had sand kicked in his face, literally or figuratively, Charles Atlas. Eventually Arnold came along with Frank Zane, Franco, Robbie and the whole seventies crew. Early eighties I competed in some local contests, but just to see how I compared (a little above the middle of the pack, it turned out). About that time I stopped following the sport and only lifted on a sporadic basis. I stayed in shape, but just for me. Got into Tai Kwon Do and was active in that until I lost my leg in a motorcycle accident in ‘06. That was when I returned to lifting, realizing that with on one leg, I was going to have to increase my upper body strength to compensate. I was 62 at the time and that gave me real motivation. Using a Total Gym I had purchased a few years previously and free weights, I now look better than I’ve looked in a long time. A couple of years ago I started surfing You tube while I hit the treadmill and found, you, John Meadows and Seth, all of whom seemed to offer pretty sound advice on training. I’m now doing a Monday, Wednesday, Friday split which accommodates my various injured joints from over the years, doing legs and triceps Monday, back and biceps Wednesday, and chest and shoulders Friday. Had civil ladt January, but, thanks in part, no doubt, to lifting, I bounced back pretty quickly. Keep up the good work. People are obviously liking what you do and you’re providing sound training advice. Thanks for being a great representative of the best sport in the world.
I got to 51 and didn't like the mirror reflection. My motivation is to see how much I can change in my remaining years. I have a 5 year plan of what I would like to look like. I train mostly at home with a simple dumbell/barbell and a few weights. Recently I joined a local small gym so I could access machines to assist with developing my legs and back. RUclips has been a fantastic source of information because its difficult to understand correct techniques and form from a magazine. I train 1hr every day. Discovering Jay's channel and mountaindogs channel have been inspirational to make me believe in myself. 👍
Jay just sub I’ve been a fan for over a decade now and been lifting since I was 15 but I stop once I became a father I watching this video for help thru my journey before the pandemic started I started to drink Bc I was so stress out and I became alcoholic and push my self away from family but now I see the light just a gym membership yesterday and did chest and triceps and cardio it felt amazing to be back and for that I want to be around for my daughter and I feel the gym is the only way you are my motivation god bless jay.
I was actually remembering the first videos I saw as motivation from your channel back in 2011 approximately, and like you said, it is motivating to see people that have similar interests and form part if this culture. By the way, I needed to leave the video load for like an hour to watch it without buffering since my internet was bad then.
I am 74 yrs old and still train 5x's a week.I do it for my health and because it's my stress reliever.I don't drink or smoke. And I love it when my Doctors tell me I have the Vitals and Blood work of a 45 yr old. That's why I do it.JaY thanks for everything you do.You are true motivation.God Bless and continued sucess.

Jay is one of the biggest motivation in bodybuilding
He's still my hero. Bodybuilding hero.
No question!
When I need that pick me up for bodybuilding and getting back into the grind, there’s always Jays content. Love it
I honestly think it wouldn't matter what subject Jay spoke about, he makes everything sound so easy and heartfelt.
appreciate that!!!
Just had open heart surgery to replace a valve. The infection I got caused the heart issue and kidney issues I’m having. I’m motivated to keep going because my numbers are improving. Anything is possible. I’m not into competing but I want to be healthy and look and feel better.

My motivation is just being able to wake up happy & healthy everyday glory to the man above and lift some heavy shit💪🏻
Yes!
My motivation is thinking of people who are different than me and also helping them out get further in life and what they're dreams and hopes are so that I can help. I'm not selfish and like to work hard. FACTS ARE FACTS
Perfectly said, “ Everyone keep
Motivating each other “
I like to work out when nobody is around , the less people around the better . Utube is where I get most of my information on just about everything.
Jay opening that cabinet gave me flashback vibes of him giving the house tour opening that TV armoire w PORN playing on the TV
Seeing Jay in person is huge motivation! I was able to meet him twice. RUclips is where I get alot of my information and motivation from.
@ Jay ..

Being a survivor of 20yrs addiction I agree 100%. The gym is my natural stimulant of choice Haha
Make that your NEW addiction.
Motivation is RUclips in which jay tv and ct fletcher. Cant get any better when it comes to motivation

Motivation is when I wake up another day ,As some people are fighting for their life Breath is the most powerful thing we have!
I agree!
Jay you are so modest, don't think you realise how great you are
People are so scared of change. Bodybuilding is all about working toward change which is why I love doing it. Your videos are great. You and Dave are quite the team. Hopefully see you two at the Olympia!
Angie did great too! Morton steaks are the best. Yum!!! Great post show dinner.
My motivation is I wake up everyday and my mindset is, what doesn't motivate me, I prepare myself everyday for a fight. Jay inspires me!
Keeping true to one's word.
My motivation comes from past anger and sadness that I have to supress deep down inside until I get into the gym. Im not sure if that is good to do or not, but it sure does help me.
Jay is a great guy, wish him and his family all the best!! Loved all the magazines back in the day
YOU motivate me I’m 65 with minor pain issues that only allows 2-3 days of training per week. I walk on concrete 4-5 miles a day for work.
YOU motivate me to get up and workout after a hard day of work. Love watching you on you tube and Instagram Love your RUclips videos newer ones and older ones. Your the 🐐🐐🐐🐐.
FTBB.
Since I was 11. Bodybuilding has Been my BEST Fight Against my Life with Asthma!!!
Yesss we must have these power and gym we love this
My motivation is pushing myself to be the best I can be, to challenge myself.
Jay yours new films is too for me motivation ;D first think passion WITHOUT this is hard people
You Tube videos on watching you train, talk about the exercises, tips pointers etc. are great motivation.
@@wasntme3651 it completely changed my outlook on working out when Dal Di Stefano from MindPump said it. It really stuck with me.
Love Jay’s personality - becoming my favorite channel
Yes! another video!
Respect from Ireland Jay, people like you and John Meadows on RUclips really brought my game up. Thanks bro 👍
Motivation is walking with others who inspire, often people who are much better then I. Some face to face others like your channel. Clears the mind, body and spirit.
Besides being one of the greats, Jay let's you see how to actually make life work for you!!! Truly a class act!!!
Watch every Video you put out! Keep em coming! Getting stronger and people watching me while I lift is a huge motivation!
Hey Jay - You are OK 👍 Germany is watching you 👀
The biggest difference I've found over the years was Ronnie Coleman motivated me to go to the gym in the past.
Utube is my go to for watching content. Angie wishing you all the best in your next show 🙏.
My motivation is when i watch 4 time MR O
Love watching the jaywalking videos during work.
Big love, take care Randy, regards, Richard U.K
I usually fallow you on you tube and while
you are walking or working out with others I am working out to.
My motivation is fealing better mentally after working out. It doesn't matter if the gym is empty or busy
Jay's Always The Big Daddy😫
God Bless Jay Cutler. A good man that loves bodybuilding and a complete professional.
Hell yes the gym is a place to go to escape. Its you VS you. I also do it cause Im a disabled vet with some rather serious internal issues that have popped up over the years. Got to stay healthy.
It's you tube for me Jay.
What motivates me the most…is to be the best person that I can possibly be.not the idea of proving everyone wrong ,but it’s to prove myself right.
To prove oneself right. I can feel that too.
I also follow the food and travel channel of Mark Wiens , whom I also know personally before he was as well known as it is today!
Jay your awesome brother been motivation for me sense I started bodybuilding
ALREADY CLICKED LIKE.. CANT WAIT TO EAT TO THIS I LOVE JAY WALKING 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
The jaywalking is cool too
Thank u lord for mentors like jay Cutler protect him and his family
Always a good time walking with you Jay and David!
This video just motivated me ! The way you are so transparent and real. Keep them coming .
This channel has grown so much over the years. Keep up the awesome content and let’s get 1 million subs!!!
