You make it look so easy. This old girl of 66 years thanks you for making the video. You are a great instructor, your ease in your voice is very encouraging, clear and precise. I've been crocheting for 41 years and had never heard of or used this stitch. Your crochet is so lovely and exact. Thanks again. Have a Blessed day.
Thank you for including the written instructions. Your video is great, I just like to have written instructions for when I can't watch the video.
This is a wonderful stitch, and you demonstrate it so beautifully and clearly. Thank you.
I LOVE this pattern stitch! It feels like "knitting" and doesn't stretch out like many crochet patterns. Thanks "hopeful Honey" I have a few of your hat patterns & they are awesome!!! YOU are AMAZING!
Thank you for teaching so well. I wish I had found your videos sooner but that's ok. I have found you now. You are a great teacher. You speak clearly and I understand what you mean if I am only listening and not watching as I crochet. Thanks again!
I was on another tutorial using this stitch but had to come here to see it explained clearly -thankyou

Honey, YOU “ARE” AWESOME❣️You make EVERYTHING so EASY to learn‼️‼️THANK YOU & CREATOR BLESS YOU🙏🏼 Very Sincerely, barbie from S.E. OHIO
That yarn is gorgeous! I thought it was a weight 5 chunky. It looks much too substantial for worsted or dk. It has incredible stitch definition. Thank you. This is a wonderful stitch! It has such definition, and it looks different in different yarns. So pretty.
Love, love, love this stitch. The texture looks so beautiful cant wait to try. Thank you for the vid 👍
A great tutorial. I can't wait to try this. Your hook is beautiful.
Thank you so much on sharing this very clear tutorial. I was able to make a scarf for my son using this stitch.
Thank you, being a visual learner this was easy and fast for me. I used a larger hook and it's looking pretty good. You have a teaching voice.

Hi 👋 New subscriber here. I love your tutorial. It was nice an easy to follow. I have 15 skeins of bernat blanket yarn arriving tomorrow to make a crocheted blanket for my daughter for her wedding present. I have never crochets a blanket before but have bin doing mostly amigurumi and some bags and little things over the past 9 months or so. I’m not a newbie crocheter but I’m a newbie to making a blanket. After seeing your tutorial I think I’m going to try out this stitch for it. I’ll see how it looks worked up in a swatch. Thank you for your help❤
very nice. Can you make a scarf with that stitch?
Very pretty
This is helpful
Wonderfull!
Can you do a moss stitch and the seed stitch?
Please?
Thanks.
I love learning how to crochet and getting ASMR at the same time XD
I am inspired by this herringbone stitch. When you said when you chain the one plus one. I am a newbie, do you mean to just add one to whatever amount of stitches you are planning to use?
Love your hook! Where did you get it?
thank you
Thanks. Take time show us how this. look very easy very pretty
Beautiful nail colour! 😍
приятный голос-как у стюардессы, и спасибо за урок
Thanks , I understand now
Very nice am making a blánket for my son🙏🤗💐
When you reach the end chain two then crotchet into the next stitch on the new row
How to make coshet saree blouse
is there any difference in normal double crochet n this after making
My yarn stretches so much I don’t think it’s going to look right. Your yarn is much more substantial than mine. Isn’t there a way to do that stitch without stretching the yarn out? Will it come back into shape? 😢
Okay at the end you chain two before turning your work and starting the following row
Wondering why u dont
Go thru both loops at the beginning!
Hi, i dont understand why my herringbone curls... i crochet it looser n it still curls, i crochet it slightly tight n it still curls. Is 700 chains too long? I use the recommended crochet hooks base on the yarn but it still curls...
I just need some tips if any of you ever make this stitch what is easier way to slip stitch from 3 loops to 2 loops? It is so hard .
Hi from India, I want to make a muffler, how many chains should I make, will be using 3 ply wool.
If I'm doing this in the round and attempting to do an image... is there a way to do this reverse (without turning my work) to make it lean the other direction? It looks good on one side of my image but then slants the wrong way for the other side. =/
I'm not the content creator, sorry 🙈 but I think the only way to reverse this stitch without turning the work would be to work alternate rows in reverse, I.e crochet backwards. But the stitch is perfectly reversible and the herringbone effect is created by turning the work, why wouldn't you want to do so?
You can turn the work while crocheting in the round! It's actually great for preventing slanting in any stitch.
My front side is perfect herringbone stich but my back side is looking mess .don't know where i am making mistake.pls help
I don't understand why we are pulling up a loop, then putting that loop through the next.
What difference does this make compared to just pulling through 2 at first
can you do this stitch in Rounds like for a beanie?
Yep, you can use this stitch when crocheting in the round, however it won't have exactly the same "slanted" design as when crocheting in the row :)
Thank you so much for your reply. Will continue looking forward to more tutorials and videos.
Is there a reason you’re starting the first row in the back bumps?
it makes a prettier finish, the starting chain will looks the same way as the top of the last row :)
nice but I do like the half double
Sorry I don’t understand when you say, what you mean by one plus one. Chain uneven number?
Hello....not necessarily odd numbers only. For example, if you want 14 chains, add 1 more, if you want 121 chains, add 1 more, etc. I hope this helps! Have a great day! 🙂
I have never seen this in a written pattern. How is it abbreviated?

You are so good but I find it hard to pull the first stitch through
What am I doing wrong as I can crochet is it the hook I am using
It seems like the first row is done slightly different than the second!?????
