Unfortunately in Finland the annual car taxes on bigger cars such as Jeeps are insanely high, and gas prices right now are around 2,2€/litre, so I had to switch to a newer smaller car that is crap compared to that old Jeep😄

I liked the car, other than the hatchback is too small. He said it gets 39-45 mpg during the winter, since the battery is older now.
If you think about it. An hour and a half is more than 5 minutes. I never would have thought that a longer time is actually longer! Thanks for pointing that out!
@nehem but the constant changing of batteries will wear out whatever mechanism holds the 2 ton battery. It might be cool for races but real world applications will be too expensive and dangerous.
For the record, many ICE cars, including my 2019 Kia Soul, don't come with spare tires either. That is the way manufacturers are going to cut price and save weight.
Yes is about the price you pay her. if you buy a cheap care you do not expect so many options. It is not a big deal, other problems with tesla are BIG deals, like safety, poor design, and battery. Almost every electric car "enthusiast" is in denial, just for the sake of virtue signaling. We need better cars but we need more people, engineers, etc who are realistic and honest. If all this electric car is just propaganda and empty virtue signaling, then you are participating in a huge and dangerous story for everybody. And yes, tesla are really boring and ugly.
This reinforces my opinion that what I REALLY want is the Tesla drive system and batteries in another, regular car. Too many stories like this about substandard quality, iffy roadside assistance, and bad dealership experiences. In hod rodding the latest thing is doing Tesla EV conversions to other cars. Yeah, due to less than great aerodynamics you won't get the range of an actual Tesla, but you won't have to wait three months for suspension control arms and electric door handles either.
You nailed it. If Toyota made Toyota cars with Tesla drive trains, you’d have pretty much the best of both worlds. Toyota build quality with Tesla’s high tech electrics avid electronics. Sure cold weather driving can be detrimental to range, but as long as you know what to expect, you can prepare for it. Anyways, at the present time, for me the best real time, real world option is a Toyota made plug in hybrid. If only they made the Prius Prime with a 50 mile battery, that would seal the deal.

One negative thing about the tesla is the door handles are really bad in emergencies situations since its harder for bystanders to open your door handles to help you, forcing them to have to use the windows instead wasting crucial time.
Im only interested for efficiency. I drive locally and only 6 miles to work every 6 days. Is a tesla model 3 worth vs dealing with gas and oil changes? I drive a 2015 honda accord exl. Gas fluctuates here in socal between 3.50 to highest of 4.30.

You fail to mention superchargers. I highly suspect the sponsor of this video is another car company.
The point of EVs is moving the source of pollution from the tailpipes to the power plant where it is easier to control emissions. And the "polluting factory" argument is fairly moot, as ICE factories also pollute when making cars.
GIVE ME A BREAK… The self driving capabilities are much more sophisticated than you think, Also, The person buying the Tesla obviously has money so, buying an extra wheel should not be a problem to them.

Self driving? why not let a car live for you, self living car, how about this idea? self sexing capabilities? self thinking abilities, let us become vegetables, it is so comfortable to trust robots. Let' go even further, forget all our abilities, and let robots do everything.
All car factories have emissions, they all make batteries, and they continue to eat up gasoline on the road. That negative seems thrown in for no reason. I will say that some EV charging stations are fueled by diesel and therefore not cutting emissions by much.
OK, the problem number 1: After hearing that, i started to think... - The pollution from making 1 battery for 1 tesla equals to 8 years of driving a fuel-running car, so why just not do that with 8 years running a tesla rather than 8 years of driving and making fuel-running cars ???
Yes, a Tesla is a good car from a technical standpoint. However, there are three things to consider. Lithium is not recyclable (no battery is really just that alkaline and manganese are less toxic), and can cause serious environmental damage. Comparable to storage in the mountains or some secure location as would with nuclear waste. People rely too much on the automatic GPS-oriented and sensor tracking as to replace driving, so they fall asleep at the wheel then automatically wake-up at their destination. Safe and sound or tragedy awaits? Battle of electric versus gas, there must be a much better solution aside from charging and fuel prices aside from the cost of the car. Fuel should be made from sewage (human and animal waste) that is much cleaner for the environment and natural. Fossil fuels and batteries with toxic waste not the way to go. Batteries drain quickly in the cold, and cold batteries take much longer to recharge, even shortens the lifespan. Batteries very expensive to replace up front, and make the vehicle much heavier. If batteries the future, then at least make the fuel cells from natural sources that are renewable. Lithium, nickel cadmium, and such are not and will run out much faster than fossil fuels will.

The new Tesla models are garbage, there is NO reason as to why the wipers should be LOCKED on auto when on cruise control (maybe auto pilot) but not cruise control. The amount of time the wipers goes on when it's a bright sunny day because of this is absurd. They can only be turned off when not on cruise control or auto pilot. Given the amount of people that have complained about this, you'd think Tesla would release a new software update addressing this by now.

And for the fourth one he said that they have regenerative braking witch is a “problem”for new unexperienced drivers , but the fact is this can be turned off in car settings. As transportation becomes more and more electrified, what does that mean for transportation industries like couriers and freight trucks? A lot of truckers drive over 600 miles a day, and time is a critical factor. Transportation services lose a lot of money for every minute they're not on the road, so bigger trucks need bigger batters, and bigger batteries are going to take more time to get their full range back, regardless of the wattage a charger produces. Battery powered vehicles aren't a good solution for everyone, and all batteries aren't good for the environment, they can't be recycled infinitely like glass, aluminum, and hydrogen. If we expend all the lithium and cobalt on earth, we won't have anymore for other, reusable applications.

For the record, many ICE cars, including my 2019 Kia Soul, don't come with spare tires either. That is the way manufacturers are going to cut price and save weight.
My 2011 Yaris doesn't have a spare tire so it's not anything new...

Wow I didn’t know all this about Tesela. It doesn’t seem worth the trouble
All electric cars will have headaches since they are new
This reinforces my opinion that what I REALLY want is the Tesla drive system and batteries in another, regular car.

I still like the car but will have to be more careful when using FSD. Tesla did not offer to pay for the damage to my car.
I’m so sorry 😞
yes, totally your fault !
You were not paying attention and Tesla should pay for your mistake? They clearly state you need to maintain 100% attention while using it every time you engage it, as well as in the manual and the autopilot section of the settings were you enable it for the first time.
@@SBsupreme602 Thank you. I still like my MS. It has a top speed of 155 MPH. I have not opened it up yet but hope to soon. I will be driving it to Missouri next month and don't have to stop at any gas stations. If I get tired I can stop and take a nap with the AC on as it will only use about three or four miles of range per hour. These electric cars are the future of driving. Time will make them better for the world.
@@rayheatley9910 I agree
It would be interesting to know who financed this hit piece. Oh. By the way, “brake “ is the correct English word for the mechanical function mentioned.
No thanks, ill stick with a car that lasts more then 10 years.
Tesla hasn’t even been making cars for 10 years..just say you can’t afford it and move on lol
Yea… I’ll also replace my oil every 6 months, pay for brake pads twice as often, spends hundreds on gasoline, pay for service for the vehicle if anything’s wrong
My prius is solid and proven. Comes with spare tires
Can we have your source list? I can’t find anything about the battery packs bring non eco-friendly
Here’s a source “common sense”
Dumb response
I’ve owned a model 3 performance for almost 2 years, and most of this is not accurate
What parts specifically are not accurate and how did you gauge this from your ownership experience?
Sure
I’ve owned an ICE Toyota for 3 years. Zero issues. I’ll gladly do cicles around you in the mud, snow and while you charge up
Sure. Electric vehicles are more of a burden than a blessing. I'll stick with my internal combustion engine while you charge up your Tesla. My best advice for you is to man up, grow some balls and buy a V-8. This electric shit will not last. It's been nothing but a scam from the beginning.
My Tesla is either in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego or Phoenix. It’s never seen snow ❄️ or ice. I don’t take any else. It stays freeways and city streets. Never had a problem. I always keep it charged between 20- 80%.
I have a Mustang in my garage that didn't come with a spare tire either. Just staying.
Ok I’m 3:45 minutes in and I have a few problems with this. As the title suggests this is about “10 problems of owning a Tesla” and for the first thing he said that they are not eco friendly witch is not a problem when I own a Tesla. And for the fourth one he said that they have regenerative braking witch is a “problem”for new unexperienced drivers , but the fact is this can be turned off in car settings. For number 5 it does not take an hour and a half to fully charge your Tesla on a supercharger for the base model y it only takes 45 minutes and for number 2 this guy needs to watch more wham Bham Tesla cam because while auto pilot does sometimes get you into accidents it a lot of the time saves people.
45 minutes tf, who tf wants to wait that long to get back on the highway lmaooo
@@chrispaulwashed hey better 45 mins than an hour
You are delusional.
It is said that prob around I’d say “no checking” ab 80% at least of accidents are cause by human error
The best way is to own one to learn. After that, you will never ever touch it with a 10 foot pole. It's your own hard earned dosh, do what you wish. Wisdom is when you have it for 10 years, the only place is to the rubbish tip or resell for less than the new battery price you just put in.
Break System? thought you were about to mention tea/coffee break. BRAKE.

An hour and a half is what you have to wait for a 50 kW charger from everyone else Tesla has a supercharger network that charges your car 180 miles and 15 minutes.
And 90% of the time people charge their car when they sleep and can wake up with any percentage that they want.
@@Kor1134 damn that's true!
@@Kor1134 I can’t see truck going full electric. Better to keep them diesel for the reason you just said.
Dan the-Man I’m sure a trucking company wouldn’t mind having their drivers wait for 20 minutes to charge rather than pay $300+ to drive the same distance.
@@edwardnigma9037 Humans went from the first flying plane ever to landing on the moon in just 60 years. I think we can manage getting trucks to not run on diesel
You do not need to carefully study where charging stations are Tesla will route you there automatically there is one every 75 miles on average.
25,000 stalls globally.
Ok hairline Mathew 🤣
Most electricity is generated with steam turbines using fossil fuels, nuclear. Pollution to make the electricity, pollution to produce the battery.
The list goes on and on. Lots of plastics. What to do with the battery when it's stops holding the charge properly ? What a mess.
But then what about the factories that are making the gas cars 🧐
I think his point is they are definitely not green. But yes electric cars are a little bit greener long term. But so what though. That's like a drop in the ocean if we all switch to electric. Global C02 production would still be at an all time high.
@@mrwhips3623 You understand that we are going to run out of fossil fuel in a matter of years right?
@@jittrippinindustries1299 no we are not. That's what people have been saying for decades. Their Is still an insane amount of it we still have even found. Plus cars would be the least affected thing anyway if the world ran out of fuel.
Probably wouldn’t take advice from a video that spells “break” instead of “brake”… Jesus Christ
I drove a Tesla today in Michigan on ice covered roads at 76 mph and it didn’t slip and slide at all. It kept traction all the time.
Great story. And??? Anyone with a brain knows that AWD is no guarantee of no slip in absolutely any way.
Driving 76 mph on ice covered roads, doesn't sound like a good idea
If you really drove 76 mph on ice covered roads, it only proves you're an unsafe driver. You not only put yourself at risk, but other road users as well.
1. eco frendly: 1 tesla battery poluts for 8 years. a fule car poluts its whole life span
2. used car: this is true
3. batterys are re-useble
4. most cars comes without spare tires as standar. extra tires are adon
5. braking is true, its easy to learn, just brake ones a week
6. its not wors in cold weather, i live in -20c in the winter all you need is to pre heat car
7. winter driving: just dont have a heavy foot
8. charging. if you stop to gas in long drives, you will most likely go to the toilet and get coffe att the same time. = to about 15-20 minutes same as 20-80% on a Tesla
9. its not harder to get roadside asistant in a tesla. they most likely can fix the problem over the air
10. there is no need to look for gass staions in a tesla, it will find them themselvs if they need it, its just as easy to run out of gass
11. oh no my car broke, i need to mend it! - oh no my tesla broke down, good thing they have a garranti on there cars so i dont need to do nothing
12. show me any other car that can fully drive them selvs without assistans, its is allsow requered by law that the driver needs to keep his/hers eyes on the road at all times. (look upon it more like a drivers aid)
13. you can update the hardwear in a tesla at any service point, just like a desctop computer
14. Telsa Model Y is the safest car on the road today following the Ncap, the European car test.
There is actually no good reason for anyone to own a Tesla unless money is no object and they really really care about the environment or the image factor. From a practical standpoint, you can get much better vehicles for the cost of a Tesla

Right, so ICE car factories don't use any materials or energy? Why are you talking about the energy that goes into making one and not the other? Compare like with like if you want to be taken seriously.
That is 100% what needs to be pointed out here, the claim that they ain't as "eco-friendy" is right but wrong at the same time, I agree that EVs shouldn't be the permanent solution to traveling in our car centric world and especially when those EVs in certain places will have possibly of getting there energy from natural gas plants rather then nuclear or renewable sources, however I think the ICE car is a very outdated source of transportation as we are reaching a point where the efficiency and size and time and money you put into them is just isn't worth the transportation, however, until our cities or whether else slowly moves away from cars to just walking or cycling or having a good public transportation in general, the EV is the only realistic solution to the problem that is mostly the reason why governments or other companies who see the good rush in the horizon for EVs is ofc climate change
