HOW TO mine CRYPTO with a Radxa Rock 5C | Verus Coin Spectre Network Salvium

- In this video we take a look at the Radxa Rock 5C. The Rock 5C is similar to the Orange Pi 5 because they both use the Rockchip RK3588S, but the Rock 5C is more attractively priced at the moment. To see how the Radxa Rock 5C performs compared to the Orange Pi 5, we will mine three crypto coins, namely: Verus, Spectre and Salvium. All these coins can be mined with a single board computer such as a Raspberry Pi 5, Orange Pi and of course a Radxa Rock 5C.

Great video! I was wondering if instead of using the cooling pads, is the gap close enough to use thermal paste? Also, what wattage power supply is needed?
Hi Chuckles, Thanks! I'm not sure if the springs are tight enough to use thermal paste alone. Maybe if you put a thin copper plate in between in combination with thermal paste it will work well. The standard Power Supply from Radxa is 30 watts, but I use the Raspberry Pi 5 power supply. I believe it is 27 watts.
Thanks for your videos. Do I use the same steps for Radxa Zero 3w? Which do you prefer, orangepi or Radxa. I have a few orangepi now, they are quite hot even with heatsinks. Running at 65 to 75 degrees Celsius. Thank you
Great to hear the videos are helpfull. You can use the same steps for the Radxa Zero 3w. At the moment Radxa is better priced, but in terms of support for different operating systems, Orange Pi is better. In terms of performance they are quite close to each other. The Orange Pi is sometimes a little bit better at this. Regarding the temperature, try to use an additional little fan that makes quite a difference.
@BloxyLabs thank you. I'm using additional fans blowing at my orangepi 5 . Am considering whether to get radxa. Thanks
Oh nice! I've been looking at these to try! I did get an Odroid N2L mining Verus with a decent hash rate.!
Thanks! Can you tell me what the hashrate on an Odroid N2L approximately is?
@@BloxyLabs Around 4.2 MH/s (Avg) Not the best but, it has a separate GPU so I'm thinking there could be potential for dual mining with something like SRB miner. Only got it working in the last 24 hours, so it's still early days.
@@BloxyLabs Aww dude, I'm not sure if you can see my previous reply or not. YT keeps ditching my comments! But hash rates around 4.2MH/s Not great but hoping to utilise the GPU as well as the CPU
@@scud69er I had to filter it on the newest reactions to see your reply. Strange but it happens often. 4.2 MH/s is not bad at all. I'm curious how SRB miner works out for you.
@@BloxyLabs I'll let you know! I can't code it or anything like that, it's week beyond my capabilities, but github has an edited variation of srb for the n2l I'll try. I'll let you know if it works out! 👍
what can currently be mined on a Raspberry pi4 4Gb? I have a few and I'm wondering what to use them for
i have problem with the verus mining its says no such file or directory i did all the same steps i have radxa 4 c plus and 4 se pls help me
Are you in the root directory when you execute the start command ?
3 coins simultaneously with 1 miner ? Do I understand that correctly ?
Hi, there is no simultaneous mining. They are tested separate from each other.
@@BloxyLabs ok which is the better one ? Probably currently Verus ?
Do you know how to get your vARRR into the VRSC network with Verus ?
You can swap the vARRR to VRSC, but they are still in the vARRR network, but would have them in the VRSC network
@@DIY0815 The last year Verus was the best coin to mine, but I don't know what the future brings. If they make such a succes on Spectre or Salvium then they can also be winners ;). But with Verus you have the most certainty at the moment. I haven't exchanged my vARRR yet. But ask on the Verus Discord how this works. If I swap it myself, I will definitely make a video of it ;)
how to run crypto testnet node pi.?
Hi! What exactly do you mean?
@@BloxyLabs crypto tesnet node
Hi, I got a spare radxa zero 3W from a previous project. Can it mine VRSC. If yes, what hashrate can I expect?
I believe you can. In the Verus Discord they say you get a hashrate around 1.8 Mh/s.
