Isaac Passes the First Test

There are moments in life when we find out if we actually trust God, or if we are just full of pretentious hot air. In the early Church, many would rather loose their lives then to betray their confession of the faith. Likewise, Isaac puts his life in God's hands during a famine which could take his life. Instead, of trusting in the power of Egypt, he trusts in the power of the God of his father to provide and protect.
