Giratina did extremely well back in Gen 4 and still is pretty good. I think D tier is harsh. Also, why is Rayquaza in D tier? Also Xerneas should be in SSSSSSSSSS tier :)

I actually used Azelf Giratina lead back in 2010. People would expect the explosion and calm mind turn one, and would double protect in response, only for me to set up a light screen/reflect before going kaboom next turn lol. Giratina saw a decent amount of play back in 2010 so it's a shame he isn't used more in the other formats.
Why run explosion? That seems like it's just a horrible idea.

I guess it makes sense since Dragapult typing is better as an offensive Pokemon, both as ofensive typing as defensive typing, since it lets you take some common priority attacks pretty well as well as momentum moves like u-turn. While for a defensive pokemon you are weak to fairies, knock off and other ghosts and dragons (not an issue if you are faster than them). Also we have to factor that Xerneas is in the format.
Nevertheless, that was hilarious since Giratina in his altered form has levitate and it doesnt take the boost from knock off.
Giratina, even in origin, is just not fast enough or strong enough to be a major threat. I'd say the two forms should be ranked separately but even then origin would still barely be C. Dragapult is so hyper tilted with stat allocations and it's movepool that it would be good with any typing. Ghost helps it on the swap in but dragon is objectively a bad type unless you can out speed or have absurd defensive tech since the introduction of fairy.
Giratina is still my favorite legendary though.
Dragapult is faster and has a better move pool, and it’s threats aren’t as dangerous as Giratina’s, for example, Dialga, Xerneas, Kyogre, and I’m pretty sure even the Tapus kill it out right.

Ryan Kendall I mean sure, but even setting his own sun while hitting for big damage and being able to improve his only okay speed to pretty good with a powerful max airstream, while also not taking the recoil damage from brave birb.
He’s also got options with Earthquake and Ironhead to improve his bulk further.

I think you put dusk mane necrozma too low, especially because you put solgaleo two tiers above it. Necrozma can set its own trick room which is very potent, prism armor works great in surviving even a double-up and made it the premier weakness policy user before dynamax came around. I got 3rd in my first regional in the Sun series using Dusk Mane together with kyogre to scare out any groudon and incineroar while dusk mane would smash everything else at +1 under trick room. I'd put it at least in C-tier (probably B-tier) while maybe moving the kyurems down a tier.

Yeah I mean in the current doubles uber's meta dm is essentially the best dynamax abuser. It's ability with dynamax is better than lunala since it can be used for all hits not just the first. Wp dm will be extremely strong just like wp solgaleo.

I've played mostly Singles so that's my first instinct. Dusk Mane Necrozma being D tier was a little triggering since it was the 2nd best Uber in Smogon Ubers last gen after big daddy Groudon himself and just barely above Xerneas. It does blow my mind that a mon that counters Xerneas so well could be so bad in VGC.

Hearing that the intro is about paella, one of the most famous dishes from my country (Spain), made me reaaaally happy. Here paella is not veggie tho it always should have some seafood or else ppl would call it "arroz con cosas" (literally "rice with whatever")

Origin Giratina IMO should have WAY more speed than altered, its really sad how they both got the same speed when origin looks incredibly fast.
Eternatus will probably be incredibly strong IMO, even though it cant dynamax. Its stabs cover each other to some extent, cancelling out the fairy weakness and hitting them super effectively with poison stab. In addition its stats are incredibly strong and balanced with great speed of 130, amazing bulk with a whopping 145 hp stat, and incredibly high special attack. But the main thing that will make eternatus broken would be its other signature move you didnt mention, Dynamax cannon, hitting pokemon who have dynamax with a whopping 200 base power stab attack. that applies insane pressure on the opponent at all times, which is why eternatus would absolutely destroy the meta if legendaries were allowed.
DMax cannon doesn't double in power, but the damage is roughly the same as if it did.

It's so frustrating to think that all it ever had are "Resistances" and a few "High damage" moves that's only super effective against itself.

I actually, in gen 7, used White Kyurem with Suicune pretty effectively. I gave Kyurem a spead of 60 Defense and Sp. defense, 252 Sp. Attack, and the rest in Speed, and gave it and Assault Vest, while Suicune next to it set up Tailwind and Reflect. It made Kyurem bulky enough to survive a Neuroforce-boosted Sunsteel Strike from Ultra Necrozma and KO it with a Blizzard, on more than one occasion

Putting Dusk Mane Necrozma into D is such a huge misjudgement on your part. I have used it in Battle of Legends and it is definitely A or even S tier in a Dynamax format. I played 17 Games and won all of them, seriously, I am rank 2 currently, the thing is a beast, with max bulk it is almost unkillable while maxed and it can even boost its defenses while it is. I used it with Moonlight so it can even heal back up if it survives its Dynamax which it tends to do. Outside of Charizard in Sun, there is really not much to watch out for and for that I am using T-Tar. It is immensely powerful and a boosted version can even 1v1 a maxed Solgaleo while not being maxed itself. Teammates may improve its bulk even further by using Coaching or Screens and with some proper Speed Control it can easily sweep teams while maxed, for reference, even with no offensive boosts, a max Attack Necrozma in Dynamax can kill Zacian in 1 hit with Quake. I am honestly curious to what capacity it can even fight maxed Groudon, I imagine it can defeat a physical non primal one, we will have to see when the DLC comes out. Case and point, I think you need to experience the power of maxed legendaries, it is pretty damn crazy and changes things up a lot.

One thing I've been thinking about... weakness policy dynamax Lugia. I think this really could work. Build it offensively and just max airstream. It's very likely that for the opponent to be able to do any sort of damage, they would have to hit Lugia with a super effective move

Spanish guy here, you don't really need vegetable broath in paella as long as you cook it with a good sofrito(dunno the translation) and cook the rice with something with flavor (basically any broth that synergies with the meat or protein that you'll add)
I wish you had talked about Groudon/Kyogre without origin forme, but I really wish you’d talked about Zacian and Zamazenta with and without their item
Not going to lie I think Ray is actually really good enough without its mega. It still has amazing attack and speed along side Extreme Speed, V-Create, and Dragon Dance. Its Ability also is still strong considering all the Max moves are just going to be harder hitting with nothing added to it.. but what do I know

I think dynamax weakness policy Lugia is going to be a major threat. Airstreams the best move in the game and Lugias +2 airstreams are going to destroy.

Poison helps Dragon against Fairy Types, has Flamethrower to deal with Steel and Ice, gain recover, and has the most powerful dragon type move. However it has Vulnerability against Psychic, Ground, and Rock. Though Eternabeam might be good and Dynamax Cannon is useful against Dynamax Pokémon.
By idk about Eternatus he meant he has not seen it being used in VCG, so he can't really rank it.

I think the Necrozma forms deserved more love, Necrozma-Dusk-Mane with DD and dynamaxing could be a huge threat.
So for the third legendary Pokémon of SW/SH (not sure how to spell it, but know it begins with eterna) it knows dynamax cannon. I forget the power and weather it is special or physical (think it is 100 power physical) and the move is a dragon type. while the Pokémon itself can’t dynamax, dynamax cannon deals double damage to dynamaxed Pokémon. Another move is eternabeam. An ultra high power dragon type move. With its power, it is like hyper beam that it takes a turn to recharge. The Pokémon typing is poison dragon. I would personally put it in C teir, but you know more than me WolfeyVGC.
It's very interesting to compare this to my own take for singles Ubers (VERY DIFFERENT FORMAT) but it's very cool to see the difference and similarities, like groudon kyogre and Xern are very strong as well as lugia marshadow deoxys necrozma-mane and Dialga
One of the standouts was lugia being D tier which is probably A or S (depends at the ELO ur at) in gen 7 Ubers (I play gen 7 mainly)

I gotta say giving the Kyorge and Groudon their primals seems weird since they are basically over-glorified Megas. I really don't see those coming with them unless we get megas back as well.
