Metagross is one of my top 3 favorite pokemon to use, and it has a great shiny as well. I'm definitely going to use it with a weakness policy + bulldoze Heliolisk once it's added in the royal tundra dlc.
Love the tier lists Wolfey! My brother created a spreadsheet of all the current VGC legal pokemon in order of highest total base stats. HOWEVER, the calculations excluded the lower offensive stat of each pokemon being that most pokemon are not mixed attackers (Ex. Tyranitar total base stats excluding special attack). Not ground breaking information, but it could lead to an interesting discussion.
I’ve started using Garchomp with Blunder Policy. Swords Dance, Iron Tail, Dragon Rush, and Earthquake. I either hit for massive damage, or I miss and double my speed.
@@davidreynolds9189 Never thought of it that way, I was thinking in a one on one battle where you have more advantage but if it misses they might use a 100 accuracy super-effective move and have STAB multipliers and end your Garchomp if it doesn't have the right bulk
Could rank the trio's - we know landorus is gonna be s but be interesting to see the rest. Also be an interesting follow up to the "best types" wideo if you did the best bug type, best dragon, best fairy etc
Hi Wolfe, here's a couple video suggestions you've probably gotten 100 times already: 1. Team Preview Guide (looks like youve done this 2 years ago but maybe revisit?) 2. Ability Tier List Cheers :)
Giving Goodra Mega might help it. Adding 40 to def,50 to sp def and 50 to sp attack and lower 40 in speed and gooey as ability for mega might make it viable much more.
Also note Tyranitar’s Base ability Sandstream summons a sandstorm which has a hidden ability in itself that it increases the Sp Def of Rock Pokémon by an extra 50%. Run that with assault vest and you have a Sp Wall with good offensive power.
One thing about Tyranitar that I think is interesting and that I've never heard anyone talk about is that it kind of breaks the rule of a base stat total of 600 for pseudo legendary Pokémon due to its ability, which multiplies it's special defense by 1.5. shout-out to my favorite Pokémon ✌️
I mean that because of its special defense boost from sandstream, more often than not its special defense is, practically speaking, more than the base 100 that it appears to be
Why? I love seeing an UWU pink dancer with their leg peaking from underneath her fluff demolish a fighting dragon who looks like it eats babies for breakfast
The following Pseudo-legendary Pokemon have double weaknesses: Dragonite, Tyranitar, Salamence, Garchomp, Hydreigon, and Kommo-o. Hydreigon and Kommo-o are both double weak to Fairy. Dragonite, Salamence, and Garchomp are all double weak to Ice. Tyranitar is double weak to Fighting.

I remember beating all frontier challenges in Pokemon Platinum with my reliable trio Tyranitar, Metagross, and Garchomp, gosh those three make such a great team. And ever since gen 4 it has been a mandatory for me to have those three again in my party, they're just too good to miss out on
You could do a video ranking your favorite pokémon based on how good they are competitively.
Day 14 of thanking Mr. Wolfe Glick for the fantastic content he provides.
@@WolfeyVGC OwO
That's probably one of the most wholesome comments I've ever seen.
@@dzigayu4944 Thanks :)
You spent 26 minutes talking about 9 pokemon, what a legend
How does he do it
These wideos are so educational! I never knew Kommo-o was pronounced "Cow-moo"
“If everyone is S tier, no one will be” SyndromeVGC
Ranking with megas
Salamence would be SSS+
You mean hit for massive damage or miss and risk dying?
@@acheronpls11037 mostly trying to predict an opponents setup or switch.
@@davidreynolds9189 Never thought of it that way, I was thinking in a one on one battle where you have more advantage but if it misses they might use a 100 accuracy super-effective move and have STAB multipliers and end your Garchomp if it doesn't have the right bulk
Thank you Wolfey for daily content
Could rank the trio's - we know landorus is gonna be s but be interesting to see the rest.
Also be an interesting follow up to the "best types" wideo if you did the best bug type, best dragon, best fairy etc
When he put Garchomp in S-tier, I was fucking pumped. Garchomp is awesome
I love the tier list videos can’t wait everyday
Dragapult is probably my favorite psudeo legendary. It just looks so fricken cool and I'm glad that it's a good Pokemon.
I love these ranking videos not because I care about the ranks I just love listening to Wolfe talk about Pokémon
I LOVE my Metagross, would still use it even if its stats weren't cracked. It's just such a cool tank of a Pokemon
I wanna see a video where Wolfey ranks all the members of the agency.
Am still rocking with Hydreigon in the first season of VGC2020. really good with Lifeorb 😊
A good thing about Clangorous Soul is it works with the item Throat Spray.
Kommo-O has a move that increases all its stats for some recoil that allows it a great mix attacking sweeper for Singles
Hi Wolfe, here's a couple video suggestions you've probably gotten 100 times already:
1. Team Preview Guide (looks like youve done this 2 years ago but maybe revisit?)
2. Ability Tier List
Cheers :)
for some reason, I thought you were going to include the pre evolutions too for a second, and was intrigued by a competitive analysis of goomy
Giving Goodra Mega might help it. Adding 40 to def,50 to sp def and 50 to sp attack and lower 40 in speed and gooey as ability for mega might make it viable much more.
I found this ranking video enjoyable because there were fewer pkmn you went in depth with. Thanks for the content Wolf
Heidregon in gen5 was so busted with pretty much no weakness
It has all of the weaknesses of dark and all of the weaknesses of dragon tho
I 80% agree with this list what I would change though is I would swap hydreigon and tyranitar
hydreigon actually learns flash cannon and if u set up nasty plot it could kill most fairy types
Love how every mon here is 4x weak to something except goodra, pult, and meta
Goodrapult
I think Dragonite with hidden ability--Multiscale is kinda good
Also note Tyranitar’s Base ability Sandstream summons a sandstorm which has a hidden ability in itself that it increases the Sp Def of Rock Pokémon by an extra 50%.
It's still base 600, it just gets +1 Sp. Def.
what do you mean by that?
I mean that because of its special defense boost from sandstream, more often than not its special defense is, practically speaking, more than the base 100 that it appears to be
@@SDSwampert oki thank youuu
You should do a “ranking EVERY single Pokémon” wideo
Good wideo! Looking forward to some more battles on the ladder though!
I wouldn’t mind fairy being so strong against dragon, one of the coolest types, of half of them weren’t named winkydink and sparkleslarff
Why? I love seeing an UWU pink dancer with their leg peaking from underneath her fluff demolish a fighting dragon who looks like it eats babies for breakfast
Day 30 of asking Wolfey to do “Why Malamar is a Threat.” #SquidSquad #CalamariCrew
Only if what he says in the video is opposite of what is true
Woomy
The following Pseudo-legendary Pokemon have double weaknesses: Dragonite, Tyranitar, Salamence, Garchomp, Hydreigon, and Kommo-o.
Hydreigon and Kommo-o are both double weak to Fairy. Dragonite, Salamence, and Garchomp are all double weak to Ice. Tyranitar is double weak to Fighting.
Intro Tier List soon?
When he mentioned the randomized hydreigon not being disappointing, I felt that.
I'd love to see the ranking every Legendary video to complement this!
Can we remember that Galarian darmanitan's absurd damage would kill most of this guys so if they start dominating the meta Galarian darmanitan will pop off
I'm happy to see the S tier. I love all of them so much.
Commenting on Wolfey’s wideo for it to get into RUclips’s circulation algorithm! I remember finding a shiny bagon while trying to complete my Pokédex in Pokémon sun. I named him skittles.
i really want dragonite back already 😓 so many ideas on how I'd hse it
Dragonite with HD boots would be fire!
@@sreenaths6829 havent seen any entry hazards in vgc yet tho this gen for some reason so maybe in singles
Aren't we missing Arcanine here?
Goodra is probably my favorite pokemon of all time I think the anime really helped with that
