When he was cast, there was SUCH an uproar. People HATED it. Comics fans HATED it. Batman fans HATED it. And then the movie was released, and suddenly they all shut up. Funny that almost the exact same thing happened years later when Heath was cast as The Joker.
It's big big mistakes that Hollywood not use Michael again for Batman!!! In Flash of course it was great idea, but need more solo movie cuz for me he is the best Batman, of course Pattinson unexpectedly was also not bad, but Michael have special charisma and story with old Bruce can be amazing, in Anime it was cool so why not make movie?
Well, Val Kilmer has survived cancer, and George Clooney would rather be forgotten, so they probably don’t care to be recognized as Batman (besides, Val Kilmer was never the best Batman, but he does have other films he’s more popular and well known for like Top Gun, Tombstone, the Heat, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.)
I love watching the corner of Michael Keaton's mouth just ever so slightly turning upward in spite of his effort not to break character. Always the professional, he manages to gain control rather quickly. I love Keaton. Beetlejuice IS Batman!
