We visited Hong Kong in 1996, and of course so much has changed since then, lots of new buildings and we got a bus up to the peak, there was no visitors centre then. The buses are so colourful and shopping great. We stayed in the Park Lane Causeway Bay on HK and there was a famous park opposite, first thing in the morning the locals were doing their exercises there, but they also had their little birds in cages with them, it’s a tradition apparently. The view at night from Kowloon looking over to the island is stunning. Thank you for bringing back so many happy memories of our time there, my husband recently passed so it was quite emotional ❤️🤗🏴
Oh wow! Yes I bet it had changed a lot over the years then, bet it was a very different experience! We previous went in 2017 and we could tell some things had changed in just a few years too! We really like that locals still do their traditions outside exercising, really nice to see! There is so many lovely views of Hong Kong, it’s such a great place! 🤩 Sorry to hear about your husband passing, we’re glad the video brought back some lovely memories for you 😃 Thank you so much for following along and watches, we hope you enjoy our other videos too! 😄
Just wanted to thank you for these videos. It’s long been a dream of mine to visit Hong Kong and I’ve loved enjoying it vicariously through you both. I’ve been having a hard time of it lately, but your videos have been a real tonic and have helped take my mind of things, and worked to encourage me to look forward to brighter days. Keep doing what you’re doing! I look forward to your new adventures!

That’s the best Vlog I’ve seen of the Peak tram and observation deck, I’ve sort of given up on Hong Kong as a destination but you make it look really easy
Aw thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed this one again! We love the views in HK, so amazing! Hopefully one day you’ll visit, we make it look easy but we was knackered as we packed in so much but totally worth it and it’s super easy to get around too which helps! Thanks for always watching and commenting! ❤
Breakfast buffet looked good and we love udon noodles but for breakfast that’s something new, not sure how I feel about that haha 🤣 Wow that garden with the bonsai trees looked amazing and looked so peaceful 🤩 The tram looked cool and those views were fantastic! Also the views from the bar were great and the cocktail sounded amazing 😋 Ahhh the Starbucks mugs are so hard to get hold of in some places aren’t they, we couldn’t get the South Africa one only the Cape Town one because they had sold out everywhere of the South Africa ones! Loved seeing what you got up to in this vlog 🥰
Haha, yeah there was lots of different options which is great and tbh, the udon was lovely for breakfast! 😋😆 The gardens were so lovely and we love the peak tram and the views, so amazing! We really enjoyed Eye bar too, sat there for hours drinking and can’t beat a good cocktail with though views! 🤩 Oh gosh that’s crazy, shame you couldn’t get the SA one, hopefully you can get it online.. stay tuned to see if we find one 😂 Thanks for watching guys, ya’ll know how much we appreciate it 💙
Hey! Thanks so much for following along with us and we’re glad you found the video helpful! 🤩 Eye is on Nathan Road, in Tsim Sha Tsui! There was escalators initially, then just a lift all the way up to the Eyebar floor! 😃 We hope you have an awesome trip in February! 😬
Great vlog guys, is there anyway when editing you could keep music and talking the same volume as music is so much louder than the footage I have to keep turning the tv up and down all way through cheers
Did you book Hong Kong and Singapore all separately or did you use an agent? As wanting to do similar but not sure where to begin with internal flights etc!
Hey! Thanks for following along! We booked all our flights for HK/SP directly through Cathay Pacific as a whole trip / multi city on their website! Hope this helps and you managed to get a similar trip booked soon! 🤩🤞🏻
