The only way johnny works is if no one else is like him. As long as everyone else is more polite, but if someone else was just like him, he'd never be able to deal with that. I do agree with some of what he says and I actually kind of like him as a person.

when Lord Lydon speaks they all listen. there may be 3 other members in the band but they all wanted to hear what John had to say. I could tell Paul was irritated when John jumped when he was trying to speak. it was the John Lydon show that day.
"We invented punk?" LOL! Johnny's ailing memory should be reminded that he cites The Ramones & The NY Dolls as key influences. The Pistols & The Clash were listening to both bands long before any of 'em signed a record deal. The Ramones are still universally regarded as the Fathers Of Punk. That signature time beat in all of 2-minutes or less has become the blueprint for a genre of music known as "punk."
Hey heads up check out an Aussie punk band Radio Birdman that were formed before any true punk band and they sorta had that classic punk Ramones sound but a bit speed up.
@@gronxman1 So why did he try and get backstage at the first gig they played in London to meet them? He thought they were a legit gang from NYC and thought he had to act tough. well, one bottom line of true punk is provocation (another is rebellion). this is what they do here.
