I bought this album when it first came out. I was 12 at the time and love the fact that these were guys in age making music. Jealous girl was my favorite song on the album. I didn't know Bobby sang lead until I saw them perform it on Soul Train.

I don’t understand why they changed the beginnings in the NE Story. What was the purpose? I would’ve liked to hear about New Edition, Ricky n Ralph, Click Clack n Clyde. 🤷🏾♀️
There’s a lot of stuff they didn’t include in the New Edition Story. Not intentionally, just for the sake of running time and narrative they didn’t portray any of that stuff. I think a very in-depth documentary would fill in some of those gaps, if they ever decide to do something like that in the future.

That’s cap. First off, who TF talks about The Boys in conversations about generational [black] pop groups? No one. New Edition came 10 years before them, and lasted way longer than them. The Boys first album was in 1988 and their last album was in 1992. They didn’t last. I’m pretty sure if B2K had to choose between New Edition and The Boys in terms of artistic inspiration, there’s HIGHLY DOUBT that they would choose The Boys. “Actually the boys would be a better bridge than New Edition”, you’re probably amongst the very few people that think that. You are entitled to your opinion, but that sh*t ain’t a fact. NAH.

The pic at 4:46 shows me why the younger actors in the biopic were picked to play the group. They look exactly like them in that shot.
