FAST any% is just any% except we use pre-made save files to skip cutscenes. Which cuts off roughly 25 minutes of boring stuff from the run. So if you see me randomly start loading and end up in a new level, I'm not cheating. I'm just running FAST any%.
I love the fact that the pilot sections of this speedrun manage to skip big sections of content, simply by playing a Pilot the way they're meant to be played and never touching the ground :) I suspect the developers were looking forward to seeing people doing this.
Mayo, you've just gotta give multiplayer another chance. I know the spitfire and g2 campers can get annoying, but I also know that you could absolutely dominate with your movement if you wanted to. I mean, I'm nowhere near your level but I can still outmaneuver most other players I come across and I usually get at least 3rd mvp if I'm really trying, so I know it's within your ability. Granted I play on PS4 and maybe the campers are a bigger problem on pc - though I've heard the opposite. Idk. I just know I speak for everyone when I say we'd love to see you clap people in multiplayer more often 😁👍
I appreciate your passion and confidence in me, but multiplayer is just not something I want to do. I don't find it fun regardless of how well I do. Believe me, I played multiplayer for so long, and got all the way to gen 100 chasing a high that just wasn't there anymore. It's not for me.

Even at g40 I've noticed the game gradually getting more and more stale for myself, so I can only imagine what it would be like to play more than double that 😂 I'm sure I'd be over it too.
I use the Evolved button layout with hold to crouch! Other settings you might wanna know: I have vibration disabled, and zero look deadzone, as well as ramp up time disabled in ALC.
@@vovithy an exploit (caused by disembarking while VTOL hover is active) that decreases gravity by 15% it's why the beacon 3 fastball section looks so floaty
@@vovithy Not pilots vs pilots, but in the rest of multiplayer it does. All you gotta do is make Northstar stand on a surface while hovering, then disembark.
I play on the Evolved button layout with hold to crouch. I play claw pretty much whenever you see a color button and the right thumbstick pressed/moved at the same time. But it's not my hands' default position. ASIDE from Effect and Cause 2 and 3. On those levels, I use the Xbox Accessories app to rebind RB and A. So in those levels, any time you see me press A I'm actually pressing RB, and vice versa. And No paddles! Paddles are for chumps :p

Im assuming you're using the timestamp of livesplit and not RUclips. but I'm still not sure exactly what you're referring to? if you mean the wallrun after putting on the helmet, it's just jumping onto the wall behind you and wallrunning forward off of it.

This is FAST any%. In this category, instead of watching cutscenes, you load different savefiles at certain points. Think of it like speedrunners having to make our own version of the "skip cutscene" button because the game doesn't have one.
I'm not sure exactly what you mean. I play on the Evolved layout (LB = Jump, RS = Crouch). Do you mean how am I just holding it instead of pressing it over and over? I'm also using Hold to Crouch.

hold slide (with hold to crouch enabled) and jump every time you hit the ground. then you can learn to include airstrafing. there's tutorials out there that can probably help you :)
