Try the blush on your eyes as a sheer wash sheen with lighter eye looks (like this one, or w basic winged liner). I had the same results as you on the cheeks (similar coloring) and ended up using it on my eyes and it worked better that way! ♥️♥️

Some other of my earliest high end purchases were the Too Faced Better Than False Lashes two part mascara, the Lorac Pro Palette 2 and Anastasia's Lash Genius waterproofing topcoat.

They won't work for me, though, bc I have cleared time in my mornings to enjoy the luxury of being able to do my makeup in natural daylight and fresh air at a local park. It makes a huge difference! So I use an oversized insulated lunch tote to keep my "magic" stuff in. Just one thing: your complexion is so lovely with the soft pastels! Even when you've done a dark, steely grey eye, your pretty look still comes through. So please promise that you'll never go goth or campy-vampy! Allie, I LOVE colored mascaras! When I was in high school (my 50th reunion is next month!!), Maybelline came out with the first colored mascara. It was this darkish electric blue! I loved it! I would wear my normal black mascara & just tip my lashes in the blue. It was sooo cool! If you looked from the side it looked like my lashes were glowing blue! Good times & great memories! I think I'm going to have to give that violet a try! I think it'll look good with my "baby blue" eyes!

I just bought that old L’Oréal lumi glow palette in Moon kissed. EmilyNoel has been using it so much lately. That first shade is so perfect!! It’s this highlighter that isn’t gold, rose gold, yellow, pink or champagne. Lol. It’s not shimmery either nor a beige color. It’s light and powered but just makes the cheeks glow. My best friend is getting remarried in Sept and I’m thinking of my makeup already. I just want my cheeks to glow. It’s so pretty! Also the L’Oréal signature gloss lippie in Be Captivating. It’s such a lovely soft pink that would look pretty w anything.

You should try a lash primer (one of those white/pinkish ones) every time before you apply colorful mascara. It makes the color pop so much better its magical 🤩

Hi Allie, I was in Walmart this morning and I picked up the L’Oreal unbelievablabrow, a great product and a re-purchase. I like lighter shades for spring. I recently purchased a pink Clinique blush pop and a coral nudestix. I usually live in IT cosmetics cc cream as my foundation during the warmer months. It’s such an easy product and I don’t need any concealer and it gives me an extra dose of sunscreen. I enjoy your channel very much because you do make up like a normal person.

That mascara takes me back. I didn't start wearing make up til I was 16. My first trip was with $20 to cvs. Came out with electric blue mascara and eyeliner. And a Maybelline pallette that contained purple blue pink and white eyeshadow pink blush and a rose lipstick. My mom didn't wear makeup. So I had to teach myself. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I forgot how much I love color mascara.
Growing up I'd always look at makeup too & I'm still like that! If there's a makeup aisle you'll find me there 🤣 anytime I mention makeup my mom is like "I think you have enough" it's like umm there's no such thing! Haha. That purple mascara is so cute.
I got both the green and purple L’Oréal mascaras and I love them. I also have the new blue mascara from Thrive Causemetics. I love colored mascaras. I have the turquoise and the lavender ones from Colourpop as well. Oh and I have a Gold and a Silver one that I got off of Wish that I use on the tips of my top lashes if I just want a pop of something.
Allie can you try the Neutrogena serum foundation for sensitive skin? I haven't seen that many RUclipsrs try that one and I was interested in it. I think that Neutrogena is an underrated brand. Thanks for the video!
All about drugstore makeup at the moment. I’ve been really dissatisfied with the last few of my Sephora/Ulta purchases, and I hate the hassle of returning products, so throwing some cash at affordable makeup has been worth it. I’m in love with Revlon’s and Maybelline’s cream shadows. And L’Oreal’s Lash Paradise mascara in Dark Navy has been fun, too.

Hi Allie! I know you want the blush to be more pigmented, but IMO the lighter tinted effect flatters you more!
I love this concealer, it's super light but with good coverage. I'm 33 and it doesn't accentuate my fine lines.👏🏻
I think that blush could also make a pretty transition shade for eyes 👀
Also I remember wearing bright blue mascara & eyeliner in the 80's 💙

You should try a lash primer (one of those white/pinkish ones) every time before you apply colorful mascara. It makes the color pop so much better its magical 🤩
Of course I purchased the L’Oreal Mascara in Blue, Burgundy, Violet, and cobalt black!!!! Super deal on them too at CVS :) thank you again for the recommendation- I was wearing a simple eyeshadow look with the violet - beautiful!!!

Hi Allie, I was in Walmart this morning and I picked up the L’Oreal unbelievablabrow, a great product and a re-purchase. I like lighter shades for spring. I recently purchased a pink Clinique blush pop and a coral nudestix. I usually live in IT cosmetics cc cream as my foundation during the warmer months. It’s such an easy product and I don’t need any concealer and it gives me an extra dose of sunscreen. I enjoy your channel very much because you do make up like a normal person.

Do you recommend any good SPF that doesn’t break you out and doesn’t leave a white cast??? I use the neutragena zinc mineral face sunscreen and I feel like it’s breaking me out and leaves a wicked white cast

I actually really like the purple mascara. I used to have purple hair and feel like that’s a fun way to add a color pop without being as as permanent has hair dye. Fun.

That mascara takes me back. I didn't start wearing make up til I was 16. My first trip was with $20 to cvs. Came out with electric blue mascara and eyeliner. And a Maybelline pallette that contained purple blue pink and white eyeshadow pink blush and a rose lipstick. My mom didn't wear makeup. So I had to teach myself. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I forgot how much I love color mascara.

I got both the green and purple L’Oréal mascaras and I love them. I also have the new blue mascara from Thrive Causemetics. I love colored mascaras. I have the turquoise and the lavender ones from Colourpop as well. Oh and I have a Gold and a Silver one that I got off of Wish that I use on the tips of my top lashes if I just want a pop of something.
Allie can you try the Neutrogena serum foundation for sensitive skin? I haven't seen that many RUclipsrs try that one and I was interested in it. I think that Neutrogena is an underrated brand. Thanks for the video!

All about drugstore makeup at the moment. I’ve been really dissatisfied with the last few of my Sephora/Ulta purchases, and I hate the hassle of returning products, so throwing some cash at affordable makeup has been worth it. I’m in love with Revlon’s and Maybelline’s cream shadows. And L’Oreal’s Lash Paradise mascara in Dark Navy has been fun, too.
