Elf and L’Oréal have been wowing me lately. I’ve tried some other products from different brands here and there but these brands seem to be consistent with the good. I should dive into some more eye stuff from L’Oréal and maybe a primer.

Yes! It’s so refreshing to see how passionate she is about makeup. She appreciates a good product for what it is and not for the brand.
I’m curious, why are you not into makeup anymore? I ask because I feel the same way. In my case I stopped wearing makeup because it rubbed off with the mask and there was no purpose on wearing it, and I also got saturated with all the launches of products that we didn’t need.
I feel that launches became about flashy packaging and not of products that we will actually consume and enjoy.

I used to LOVE the Manga mascara. Does anyone remember that one?! In my memory, I adored it. I didn’t wear much mascara back then but I think that’s the one that got my love for mascara started. (It could have been horrible,but in that moment, it was perfect 😆)
L’Oréal Voluminous mascara will forever be my ride or die. I always get asked about the type of mascara i use and i immediately tell them about my love for the voluminous mascara
Me when Tati said she's never tried the Loreal Infallible Powder Foundation! 😧😦😮🤯 Girl. You better try that. I'm 41, dry skin, and this is my holy grail of holy grails. I will never live without this. Especially in the summer. Girl. Just try it.

I tend to stay away from powder foundation because of my dry skin but now you've got me intrigued, I wanna try it.
@@kellie5476 girl me too. I thought it would be a disaster. But at $11 I was like ehh what is the harm in trying it. And it was love at first use. I put it on over a thick sunscreen...usually the Australian Gold tinted. Or a good moisturizer. Or a serum foundation or tinted moisturizer. Depending on my mood, weather, skin condition etc. It literally blurs my forehead lines. Mattifies without looking cakey. I use a dense flat brush and buff it on when I don't need a lot of coverage. Or a wet sponge or even the applicator that comes with it, when I need more coverage. Or I use it as a setting powder over foundation using a big fluffy brush. It is also beautiful over a dewy spray like tatcha dewy or wet n wild coconut spray. Just play around and see what works for you. But I seriously cannot live without it. A lot of ppl are on the Elf Camo Powder now, but I tried it and went right back to the Loreal haha.

L'oreal is one of my favorite brands out there. It feels like so many people gush about the mascara and the fresh wear foundation, and don't really mention much else. So happy to see this video! Their facial tanning drops are incredible if you haven't tried those. They don't have as much of that weird, self-tanning stink that most tanning products seem to have. Maybe because you mix them in with your moisturizer? I don't know, but they're fabulous, and super natural looking. Thank you for this break down of each brand, Tati. It's honestly incredibly helpful for those times when I'm going to be wandering through the beauty section in Target wondering what's worth trying.

Tati is like the only one who hasn't tried the Fresh wear foundation in a powder! LOL I was wondering but I'm not surprised because you prefer liquids over powder foundations, For us powder foundation lovers though it's pretty good stuff.
One of my fave shadows ever was Poudre D'Or made by Loreal in the 80's. Yes, I do still own it or did until about 6 months ago. They make great shadows and foundation

I can attest to the 24h fresh wear being amazing. It blurs the skin and everything blends so nicely on it compared to other drugstore foundations. L’Oreal is higher quality than other drugstore brands based on what I’ve tried.
Voluminous mascara is so good! I have green eyes like you, Tati, and the burgundy/maroon coloured mascara looks good but it's really subtle. I'm sure you could make your eyes look even better with it and some of your amazing lid colours:)
I love this! I wanna see more of this series in Revlon, Elf, catrice, essence and physician formula.

There's something that you said that I think bears repeating again and again. "I get to". I love these one brand break it down videos!!!! I have extremely sparse, thin, sad little eyelashes and the Telescopic mascara has been my ride or die for years!!!! It adds such length to my lashes which I desperately need in order to see my lashes at all over my hooded eyes. I don’t care that it’s not very volumizing because if my lashes are voluminous but short, my hooded eyes cover them up anyway. So I 100% recommend the Telescopic mascara for anyone with hooded eyes!

L'Oreal is my favorite overall drugstore brand. More winners than losers compared to most brands, in my opinion! And Tati - getting my exercise in while watching your videos, doing my squats, lunges, and sets for my hand weights! 😊💪🏻

I love the new Glow Paradise Balm-in-Gloss. The darker neutrals like Rose Harmony and Mademoiselle Mauve are pigmented enough to give opaque coverage, and the gel formula is so much more comfortable and longer lasting than the lipstick version.

The lash paradise is my all time fave (got it way back when you first recommended it) and exclusively use it as my go to mascara. It’s voluminous, super black, affordable, and does not budge at all (even when I cry at weddings).

The way you described the L’Oréal lipstick taste made me think of the Rare Beauty bullet lipsticks. I loved the texture and hydration and shades, but the taste was ever present. I had to pass them on because I never used them. Good luck with your move. I really want to see James in a Stetson.

It's funny how individual makeup products can be. As a 60+ woman with dry, sensitive skin, the Loreal Age Perfect serum foundation has been a winner for me. I used to love the Freshwear, but as my skin has aged, it needs a more hydrating foundation. L'oreal could easily be my favorite drugstore brand in terms of good products in varying catories - foundation, mascaras, lipstick. Plus, all that L'oreal money behind their research makes me trust them that much more (particularly in regards to their skincare). Best of luck to you and James (and Pooka!) in your new home!

Their voluminous lash primer is so so good! I feel like I have naked lashes if I don’t use it before mascara.
Literally started wearing the voluminous when I started playing with makeup over 10 years ago and I have tried every kind under the sun. From super expensive to drug store brands, nothing…I mean NOTHING tops the voluminous
OMG!! I remember the Magic Nude Liquid to Powder! 😭 It was my first ever foundation and I remember my skin looking beautiful! I would ask other people if they remembered it but no one says they do! My heart just burst when you mentioned it!! 💕
I loved it too, but it seemed like it only lasted a minute and then was immediately discontinued. I also liked that Taylor Swift foundation that Covergirl did, remember the shades were all tree names? Like oak or aspen or elm. Anyway same thing, they discontinued that one as soon as I needed a replacement. Why do makeup companies do this to me????

Noir balm was legit the nicest surprise. Its pretty. Lashes are long long long! And it is beautifully long wearing. Not crunchy, not flakey, no fallout. Such a nice surprise.

About 4 years ago, high end makeup was having a moment for me, but the pandemic made me wear it less, so 2022 is focusing on what i like and keepingit around vs buying the next newbie and seeing how it goes! The chocolate infallible lip sticks were so bomb at the time candyman was my FAVE! Ugh these vids are almost giving me makeup nostalgia

Nooo the L’Oréal telescopic mascara in waterproof is sooo good. I do have naturally long and curled lashes but it’s the only formula that doesn’t clump and really defines all your lashes beautifully.
I always appreciate a good Tati review, especially on items I buy pretty frequently. I simply adore you adding clips from your past videos - I only wish you'd tag them with a year! You were always pretty but now you're gorgeous! Talk about getting better with age - that IS Tati!!

I bought the Infallible Eye Shadow in Amber Rush because of you way back in the day and it's still a staple in my collection that I use regularly! ❤
I will say that I REALLY enjoyed that $20 loreal palette. I went through two of them. It had all of the everyday colors that you could make use of & a few colors that you could elevate the look to a nighttime look. It was beginner friendly bc it blended like a dream, no fallout & great color payoff.
WOW! What a trip down memory lane. Could barely believe how many of those products I have used over the past 50+ years and how many I still use. After I got out of my Maybelline years, Voluminous was the first mascara I used.
Hope this turns into a series going through all the drugstore makeup brands.

I am loving the full brand rundown as well. I stopped playing with makeup around the time COVID started and I started having health issues, but seeing you again the way I've always remembered you and your recommendations have me really missing playing around with it. Especially drugstore because I worked for Wal-Mart for so long you were so helpful in teaching me so many things and I was able to use that knowledge to help others as well!.....But I must go watch your Maybelline video now.....I'm just glad your back and just as lovely as ever, but happier.
