Life saving tip: if a camp visitor says they can move in and they list a specific villager that you don't want to move, just immediately hit the home button and close the game. Hopefully it did not save and, if you go back to talk to them, they will offer a different villager to move out (hopefully the right one this time). Repeat as often as necessary

A tip for the trees: if you re plant them somewhere else and let them grow, you can pick them up with fruit then plant them in the spot you want and it should work

*About trees in AC:* Animal Crossing has always worked on a grid system for objects. The first translated game actually had sectors on the map like D5 or A3, your screen would transition between each grid border, and they kept that concept despite dropping the grid gameplay mechanics. So to put it simply, it's entirely possible that some of the many, many trees you're planting won't grow despite having ample space and such. Idk if that's still how it works, but in the older games trees would straight-up wither if you started over-planting in one of the game's "cells" of the grid it works off of. This info is also helpful for learning how the game calculates island rating-- like if one specific cell has too many trees, holes or trash then the whole island is still 2 stars, for example.
If you close out of animal crossing and close it down fully after the camper suggests someone you don't want to leave without leaving the conversation (it auto saves when you go into the tent), reopen it and go talk to them again and they should suggest someone else but you might have to repeat the process a few times to get them to choose someone you're ok with them replacing.

If you reset the game immediately after a campsite villager says the name of someone you don't want to leave, they will change who they want to leave but you have to play the card games all over again
How'd you get 10? Wait let me count it. Canberra, Renée, Mac, Coco, Roscoe, Henry, Puddles, Drake and someone else. That's it. Do you have to get Guitar Dog?
Few tips on how to earn a chunka change in New Horizons: 1. Sell all your fruit at someone else's island. Non-native fruit, even if the other person has said fruit on their island, sells for more Bells than on your own island. 2. Turnip Market Twitter is great, watch for high prices. Remember to be nice to others. 3. Money earned from fruit selling or turnip selling can be used in money trees by taking the bells you get from the money spot and putting bells into the bag. Replant however many bells you want for a money tree. 10000 bells x 3 = 30000. 4. Get a white flower meadow to spam catch orchid mantises. FLICK WILL BUST HIS NUTS AND WILL PAY THOUSANDS.
I am watching this nearly a year later but I can tell you I got to 5 stars on my island without having to surround my villager's houses with fencing rather Between or around some of them I had used shrubs. This would also go hand in hand with planting flowers and placing things like somethings you can get from Gullivarr or Gulliver. And just to keep making bells daily just keep catching and selling fish and bugs if need be.
FOAFY: "Gives me the ability to terraform the island." Me: "An aggot terrifies, a Lapis terraforms! Where's their diamond when they need her blue? You've got to be a leader blue!"
Good little tip. Don't feel too overly attached to villagers. There's over 300 of them... exactly 391. And there is a bunch that is... OK but not good. One of my most recent villager, Keaton just asked on my AC Island - Cherriza, to move out and I had a think and decided to let him go. Good time to go villager hunting. Villager Hunting, no you don't use any weapon, is a thing you do with Mystery Islands when you have a plot of land available for a villager to live at. It requires you to spend your Nook Miles on Mook Mile Tickets. You can have at max up to 10 villagers on your island (not including yourself or any additional players). Yeap. It always 10. If there is a villager that you don't like, there is a few... ways. (1) is completely ignoring the villager that you want to get rid of. Don't talk to them (even at their work bench) until they have the thought bubble over their head while wondering around the island. While waiting, talk to the other villagers very often. The power is pretty much attention. The lack of attention from that villager and the more attention from others, the more likelihood of a villager wanting to leave. (2) involves Amiibo cards and the campsite. That one is pretty expensive to get in real life. But all it takes is tapping the card with the villager you want and summoning it to the campsite. Fulfill its crafting requests and give it to that villager, but you have to do it three times successfully so that the villager can become convinced enough to join. Once done, the villager can come along to live on the island. Of course if you are maxed out at 10 villagers, you get to choose which one you want to get rid of which the amiibo villager will replace. The best and cost efficient method is (1) though it isn't the most time efficient. It takes quite a bit of time before the villager decides to think about leaving. But it is worth it if you despise that villager in particular. It is the extreme social distancing method that apparently works. An extra little tip that involves Isabelle's favorite thing, fences! Fence it around the villager's home. Remember that you still have to observe that villager. The reason why I haven't mentioned Isabelle, it is because the two options she has; the one for catchphrases and the one for what its wearing on one particular villager of a choice... that is more of like a report with the punishment involving resetting the catchphrase and the clothes that the villager wears back to normal before you change them. Thought I might give you a few good tips there. Keaton is such a good smug eagle villager. Had him for about 2 months. My newest villager Rooney moved into Cherrize not long ago, and soon I'm going to go Villager Hunting for a new one. Rooney is a cranky kangaroo villager. He's pretty good. But I got three crankies already. Let's hope my island doesn't get over-run by cranky villagers.
Take it from me, bell vouchers ALWAYS work just like selling bugs and fish. They are the cheapest way for 500 miles and come to 3,000 bells each. You even get miles for selling stuff and getting more nook miles. It worked for me. I have 3 steps that you can take: 1. Farm miles 2. Print bell vouchers 3. Sell bell vouchers (group of 10 recommend) Hope this helps. I forgotten to mention ALL of the permits is 28,000 miles in total.
OK so this is the first video from you I watched and woah, do I love your animation and way to comment! You totally deserve that subscription! Have a good day!
If it helps for numeric perspective, Bells are supposed to be equivalent to Yen (as are Pokedollars, etc), so knock two zeroes off the price in Bells to get the approximate price in USD. 50,000 Bells to move a house, is only $500 technically.
way to get bells: buy a swimsuit and go swimming, look fro stuff until your inventory is full, then sell all of it to Timmy (I also recommend you expand your inventory if you have the 2 rows)
I'm still doing incline and bridges and stuffs, haven't filled up the population and I temporarily ignore my personal debt for some times, planning to get Coco and Genji but maybe it has to be a few weeks later. Overall its not that bad. Usually it's patience. After all constructions practically don't finish in a day. :)
"Why would you spend $200,000 for another bridge when you can just MAKE MORE LAND?!?" You'd spend $200,000 for another bridge if you have too much money.
Omg! FootaFerret can you please make a full length video on the AC music you wrote. That would be perfect for ACNH during the daytime of summer. They totally wish they would put that in the game. :D
To be honest, the game getting mad at you for leaving is the reason I never really liked or got into the game. I never really got the concept and I wanted to play other games without this game getting all in your face like a clingy boyfriend who'll get mad if you don't text him every day. I think the characters are cute and the concepts are cute, but it just isn't my cup of tea. I've learned this after playing and owning the first three Animal Crossings. Personally, my favorite game is what people keep telling me is an "Animal Crossing knock-off," which . . . no. I'm sorry but you can't compare Animal Crossing to the glorious masterpieces that are Harvest Moon and Story of Seasons games. You can take however long of a break you want from the games and time won't pass, people won't get mad at you, and you can resume like nothing happened. You also don't pay anything to your town for living there and you don't go into debt. You just raise friendship with the other people in the town, raise a farm, and do whatever the story line encourages you to do (raise bazaar popularity, bring two towns together in friendship, raise islands from the ocean, prove to your father you can make it as a farmer, etc). It's amazing! Nevertheless, I really like your videos and find your Animal Crossing series really entertaining. Thank you for your content!
Technically, Animal Crossing is a Harvest Moon clone, but I'd say that Harvest Moon is in it's own genre. Also, I feel that's one of the dumbest parts of Animal Crossing. A game that teaches you to be patient.... that punishes you for not playing.
@@redpup6931 Exactly! It did it to me so much (because I got easily distracted with other games) that I would end up rather giving up playing or just restart with a new town. I feel that it psychologically makes you just have the need to play it all the time so then your villagers don't leave. I was actually surprised when he said that the villagers said that they thought about leaving and he just had to say something and they'd stay. I remember just opening my game and all the villagers just got up and left. I also really didn't like how when I would open it in the first game after maybe being away for a week, the mole guy would go on this huge monologue and make me feel bad and this was when I was about 7-8 years old. I cried the first time it happened.
I tried harvest moon but I didn't enjoy it because everything is so fast and drain energy which I hate so much. It's like for 1 day, I only plant and water seeds. I'm always on hurry, I want to like it but nope. AC is relaxing game, it doesn't rush you, you have unlimited time (you still can do the event next year if you missed it) I feel attached to my villagers it feels like they're my true friend. In harvest moon, I always run and think what to gift to people I like (they have certain gift you need to give them to like you back) but AC is not, you gift them whatever you have.. they're still your friends even if you give them trash and forgive you immediately if you hit them (accidentally or not). AC is more sentimental game that I will love forever.

"I'm not really sure why he would wanna leave, though. (ATTACKING THE PIG.)"

is this like, some sort of animal crossing diary/log/blog/update series?
cuz I'm fully on board with this
I myself started a little twitter blog of sorts, just sounds like a fun little thing to do, so these type of videos are relatable AND entertaining to watch
can't wait for the next one! (take your time though, I respect busy people and schedules)
If you reset the game immediately after a campsite villager says the name of someone you don't want to leave, they will change who they want to leave but you have to play the card games all over again
1 10 is the limit of villlagers
2 You can close the game without saving and she will choose a diffrent villager
How'd you get 10?
Wait let me count it.
Canberra, Renée, Mac, Coco, Roscoe, Henry, Puddles, Drake and someone else. That's it. Do you have to get Guitar Dog?
Adam Hennessy yeah look it up 10 is the max
Lil foafy bouncing with his guitar is adorable
I like it too
"Aaand I'm broke..." Yeah that'll happen XD
Few tips on how to earn a chunka change in New Horizons:
FOAFY: "Gives me the ability to terraform the island."
Me: "An aggot terrifies, a Lapis terraforms!

I have 3 steps that you can take:
1. Farm miles
2. Print bell vouchers
3. Sell bell vouchers (group of 10 recommend) Hope this helps.
I forgotten to mention ALL of the permits is 28,000 miles in total.
Can you make another ‘a brief history of ---‘? I really enjoy watching those!
Can you do emirichu or lavendertowne?

OK so this is the first video from you I watched and woah, do I love your animation and way to comment! You totally deserve that subscription! Have a good day!
If it helps for numeric perspective, Bells are supposed to be equivalent to Yen (as are Pokedollars, etc), so knock two zeroes off the price in Bells to get the approximate price in USD. 50,000 Bells to move a house, is only $500 technically.

way to get bells: buy a swimsuit and go swimming, look fro stuff until your inventory is full, then sell all of it to Timmy (I also recommend you expand your inventory if you have the 2 rows)

haha who hasn't gotten broke in animal crossing?
Me: I'm going to catch a barreleye.

9:35 lol greedy tonokie that made me crack up so hard oh my God If I come to your island and horizons even though I have zero experience with animal crossing I do have lots of experience watching animal crossing but no experience playing it but anyways when I come to visit your island let’s just hope I’m not mold by that greedy to Nookie
Actually, tom nook is quite kind.. He builds a whole house for you in one night, he lets you take forever to pay your debt, he gives you a nook-phone, since at first you have no bells he gives you the ability to use nook miles, lets you take forever for those, most likely adopted timmy and tommy, calls over his friend for your island and makes a whole museum, why does he get so much dirt?!
