  • Homestead Implements Pinnacle model root grapple putting in work. Thank you Veteran Farmers Coalition and Homestead Implements for providing us with this beast of a grapple. It lifts LARGE hardwood logs with ease. We are impressed with its grip strength. This has given us the ability to grow nootropic mushrooms without breaking our backs!
Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

I just purchased 13 acres in my hometown on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I have an L2501 also. This little thing is a work horse and it forgets it only has 25 HP. Pound for pound the baddest tractor around.

I know right; these little tractors are impressive! Extremely fuel efficient as well; 5 gallons of diesel will last longer than one would think. Ive cleared many acres and its been a joy; with more to come. Kudos for finding some acreage, happy farming!

You’re right. Got a new one about 6 months ago. Got the HST with R4 tires. So far about 50 hours and zero issues. Best thing so far I did was buy the $300 piranha tooth attachment for the front loader. Night and day when scooping dirt and it slices thru small trees with ease

@@txlonghornremodelingReally, I'll have to look into those teeth for the front end loader. I have another field to clear soon and I think it will work a little faster yanking small trees while bush hogging at the same time. The root grapple takes time to line up towards the root system unlike the scoop. Thanks for the info.

Wow working without protective gear just makes me cringe.

No matter how much you cringe, I don't see it convincing my cousin to wear protective gear while cutting wood. He's a high-risk fellow, and that 34cc echo is pretty easy to handle. So far he still has all his limbs, let's hope it stays that way!

    Grapple still holding up well?

Cosmetically it has some chips in the paint with rusting here and there, however structural integrity and function is sound. It's been very useful.
