Nice lamp! I have some brass plant pots that you insert a flower pot into. They get tarnished, and if I don't have brass cleaner, ketchup works! Wally would be proud! 😂 🍅🍅🍅 Beautiful evening there, and no mosquitos like we get here. Baron's Smuggler Jam sounds great! 😂 💖🇨🇦 Oh, and the toast we use here, that comes from old Russian or Polish roots is "Dai Bozhe" (pronounced Die Borzhia) meaning "to God". I was laughing when I heard the story of the part when Graham slept wearing his trousers and army boots! 🤣😂😂🤣. What a funny story. WOW!!! 😲. The party you had Graham really was quite a great big rave I must say! 😲. Really quite the rave when Fiona described it as being like in the Indiana Jones movie franchise I mean my goodness this is an experience one can never forget but a funny story at the same time 😲🤣🤣😲. But I really do like the Indiana Jones franchise, nothing can beat it and nothing can beat Harrison Ford in his portrayals of such iconic characters and all the rest of it 🙂. Well done to him for making the franchise well liked, well received and captivated with thriving interest towards people and all viewers of all kinds 🙂. Sometimes I like to think of myself as a second Indiana Jones to some extent though different because of the hat, coat and bag I have got but the only difference is that I don't wear brown leather I wear generally a blue coloured coat and not fedora but a checkered hat alongside it though the clothes I wear vary largely but its ok all the same. But goodness the lawyer who got so smashed and drunk to the point where he passed out and had to be dragged into a room and his telephone began ringing! 😲. She is just so wonderful and I cannot tell you how thankful and happy I am to have gone on the livestream with her taking part in it when it was yourself, Fiona, myself and Michelle shortly after Trevor left as that one was tremendously brilliant and really cheered me up when the livestream was over as it aired on what was the anniversary of my late grandfather Edmund's (1946-2020) death as the 18th February 2024 marked exactly 4 years since he died as he sadly died on the 18th February 2020 aged 73 as I had already said before so thanks for having myself and Michelle on the livestream that very day alongside having Trevor on it too 🙂. It was so nice of Michelle to have sent you both this card 🙂. I love Michelle in the same way yourself and Fiona love Michelle too Graham, she once said something to me so visibly moving that I will cherish for a lifetime to come, it was one November 2023 evening when I briefly happily conversed with her and she said to me 'you are the epitome of a true gentleman through and through! Which I would like to say is very refreshing in this day in age' as I could only depict this in my late grandfather Edmund (1946-2020) being the epitome of a true gentleman as I truly regard this in him in the very captivated depth of his personality traits when seeing him when growing up into the fully grown adult man I am now. I am tearing up as I have written this when speaking of the things Michelle said to me as it was visibly moving and refreshingly lovely alongside being emotionally moving at the same time 🙂. Wonderful delightful lady is our Michelle and exceptionally nice if I may so share 🙂. That’s the most scenic “studio” I’ve ever seen! OMG! That lamp looks so beautiful!!!!! Glad you can now illuminate whatever you choose. Then to find out that that lamp new is 200 quid. You’ve got a genuine antique. My mom had a lot of antiques that she bought or mostly inherited from her mom or grandmother. Since her passing, me, my sister and 2 nieces kept most of it. I went from a 2200 sq foot home to a small apartment moving from Texas back to Oklahoma so I had to sell a few precious, only to me, pieces of small furniture. We all kept the bigger pieces of furniture we loved and cherish. It was devastating to me to have to downsize but after all you can’t take it with you in the end. Take care you two!! ❤️❤️

Don't mention import duty and customs!! I wanted a small but unusual adaptor (about 3cm long and 1.5 dia) for an aerial connector to a ham radio. I found one in the States for $3 and sent for it. It got as far as UK customs, who wanted £30 import duty, and £5 for the handling charge! I told them to keep it! I eventually got one from China for £1.50, and no duty! - - - -
