I blew my Go-kart's engine so I take apart the engine to discover what has gone wrong so viewers know what parts they should replace first to improve the life of their engine.
If you're going to run the motor at top end until it blows put the governor back in that'll keep you from redlining the motor and dropping valves also use the stronger valve springs
If the governor has been removed then some 22lb valve springs would have helped prevent this. I would recommend you tear the whole engine down and clean it thoroughly.
You dropped a valve, common problem with engines with stock springs, get 18lb springs. If you want to make the engine better I’d start with a billet flywheel and rod

Thanks man, yeah I never replaced the springs so that could’ve been what did it.
Use the drain plug when your draining the oil
Or 18 pound springs if u had stock valve springs most likely you were valve floating and sure enough made contact with piston
Yeah I’m pretty sure that’s what happened
@@zachwarne on my go kart I got that non hemi like yours was and it has 18 pound springs from go power sports and a 8 degree advanced timing key
Was it ungoverned? If so then leave it next time. Was likley caused by Overrev
