Is that gold screw (fuel/air mixture) on stock predators? I took out my jet and emulsion tube- they looked pretty clean. I cleaned em again anyways. Put ‘em back in. My bike still dies if the choke is all the way off. I can turn the choke about 50% off and go 25mph. Based on that, I’m thinking the fuel isn’t rich enough with the choke all the way off. So if I tighten that screw I should be able to go choke all the way off.

That fuel mixture screw I was trying to adjust to get more fuel but ChatGPT kept telling me to loosen it to get more fuel and I saw no difference in performance, your carb is identical to mine so tomorrow I’m trying to try tightening it to get more fuel… I hope it works or else I’m just gonna give up

Honestly the weight factor makes this less practical than a modified 212 or even a 301

is the governer deleted on that 212? it should be going 60mph

Ok first off you are killing that motor. your clutch stall should be at about 4,000 to 4,400 rpm before it grabs. you need a horstman disk clutch! then you will see how that motor does when you keep it in it's power band. Now if you are serious about real power and speed there is only one place left to go. Methanol! get a 350 tillison alcohol carb and run it on methanol. Do these 2 things and wake up that beast!!! you will be very happy. you can thank me later! i build and race these motors in the open modified class here at our local track. P.S. if after this you still need more power just stroke the shit out of it. Just dont go over a 400 stroker if you are going to still rev up to 10,000 rpm;s. cause if you go with like a 500 stroker and rev that high it will pop!every time.

Speed in a go kart or mini bike depends on RPM. 212 at 5500 rpm and 420 at 5500 rpm with same gearing is gonna be the same speed no matter what is done to it. One might take off faster but that's about it

Tighten for less gas is leaner. Loosen for more gas is richer. Rich in anything is more of…, and lean like a fit person and body fat. There is less. The semantics should be pretty straightforward. Just focus on tighten for lean and loosen for richness. Thank you
