I already have it, but have found the 4 bar sequencer in it to be quite limited. i mean, would be nice if it was 8 or 16 bars. but it really is quite great, have found a lot of fun samples from my library that i've never heard of at all. btw, they do have packs now called xopaks but they're 39€ each - as of today, saw there were genres like "hiphop-lofi-chillout-jazz, altpopelectronia-melodictechhouse, techno&electro, poppy club trax". so 4 xopaks in total as of today.
Dope! I have been demoing XO for the past few days and I really love it. 10 days is a good enough trial to figure things out. I'm definitely going to pull the trigger on this one. Thanks! 🙏

I have to offer you one correction. I wrote that progression in 1978 (maybe before you were even born-Haha!) for Mary Wilson’s (from the Supremes) Album. The song is called “You Make Me Feel So Good.” You can distinctly hear the progression on all choruses and distinctively on the breakdown @3:32 I played on fender rhodes. All I can really add is to give you props for having excellent taste in selecting a quality string of chords! Continued success on your channel, you’re the future…And I hope you make a million $’s on your song! 👍

Nice Video brother . you know what I love XLN so went XO came out I got it thought it was really cool. but honestly I have never use it hahahaha because I just love making my percussion in deferent ways some times playing it and recording live , but definitely a powerful tool , and some times im like o im going to go and play and sequence some latin beats with it but I never do lol , but now that you remind me I definitely will hahaha

I think I'm going to buy this. It's very powerful but it's taken me a while to decide because I work in more experimental genres and XO does NOT (as far as I can tell) operate well in anything other than 4/4 time. If it only had the ability to reduce the steps per bar from 16 down to, say, 10, 11, 12 or 14 - then it would be perfect. I'm getting it for when I use 4/4, which is still most of the time so that's fine. For other time signatures I think the only way to operate is to build a pattern with the last steps in the bar silent and play it through until you like the sounds, then drag the MIDI or audio into your DAW and continue tweaking the rhythm.
If by any chance XLN is reading this comment... please allow us to change the step count if possible, or at least reset to step 1 when the DAW starts a new bar (is that even possible? I don't know how the internal clocks work...)

This software is amazing. I had no idea this thing was released 3 years ago. And I must question why Akai and Native Instruments haven't implemented this type of AI system in to their MPC and Maschine software. Both of their systems are primed to take advantage of this and because each pad on both systems is fully chromatic it would give their software a massive edge over non chromatic software.

Nice video Tone. Is it possible to nudge the timing on individual notes in the sequencer? Not the full lane, but individual notes inside of a lane.

I went over it and a longer version but I had to cut it out to keep the video short that function is so useful
@@TouchToneDSG That Nud will nudge the entire performance if I am correct. I am wondering if you can nudge one midi note. For example, can you nudge one kick in a lane without nudging the other kicks in that same lane?

@@TouchToneDSG I understand that you can nudge the lane, and/or whole performance. I am wondering if you can nudge one element in the lane. Say you have 5 kicks in one performance--can you nudge the 2nd kick while leaving the 1, 3, 4, and 5th kick in place?
