Yes!! It was a superb rts game but if i compare it to the animation and realistic effects for the company of heroes i think i'll go vote of COH really emersive game..
Men of War 2 Assault squad, Call to arms, the Wargame series and Steel Division series is the only RTS games where tactics definitely came into play. No tank rushes, no overpowered units, and a balance gameplay. Only your mind and skills is important. Also the level of realism is great and the battles is awesome to watch.
This would be still good with support, i would even pay for it or addons. But the lobby and mod behavior is still shit. The netcode needs still a rework / fix. Even in 2020 they Grafics are ok. But i install the game and get pissed of after 2-3 h. Dead Games in Lobby, players still dropping regular out of the game and so on.

also tanks have armor thicknesses, they need crew inside them, and if they die you won't be able to do anything with the tank, also yes in mow, the man with more bullets is the winner (oh yeah did i mention you could customize your squads [10 men max])
There is a difference between "Like CoH" and "Just a strategy game during or after WW 2". And that difference is HUGE my friend. Most of the games on your list arent even that close to CoH from the gameplay. Steel Division for example has no basebuilding and is a deck building game. And Men of War and its clones are also not comparable to CoH since they are harder to master. And that you included Dawn of War 3, the worst part of the series, in this list is an insult that is.... hard to take.
After going through all these, still comes back to coh2. There’s just nothing come close to it, Units are capable and fragile, UI design is a godsend, and the music, the sound design is masterful. Ancestor's Legacy got quiet some COH spirit in it, 10/10 campaign but multiplayer design is very inexperienced.
I strongly reccomend "Syrian Warfare" (especially "Return to Palmyra" ). Most realistic and beautiful among these games and I don't know why it is not on the list.

It can't all of them be %100 like Company of Heroes 2. I think Iron Harvest and Faces of War have the biggest similarities. The others resemble and I am sure the if you enjoyed Company of Heroes 2 you would enjoy the others in the list as well.

Men of war 2 and steel divison is rly good espically men of war 2 witht the realistic battle damage and squad management. And steel divispn with army high commanz mode where you command huge battle on a campaign map and go into tactical map when attacking and enemy unit

Faces of War, Men of War, Soldiers: Heroes of World War II and Call to Arms are from same developer or former employees of studio, Wargame series and Steel Division series are both from Eugene Systems... little unfair, don't you think?
Codename Panzers 1 and 2 were two of the best WW2 multiplayer games ever with many expert clans taking part, unfortunately the game is now old and no longer has enough players to play multi, if someone made a remake of these 2004-2005 classics they would blow away all of the competition in terms of fun and strategic play
Blitzkrieg is the BEST and it's the original RTS WW2 game before we even knew something called "COH". The number 2 spot goes for "Sudden Strike 4". Number 3 goes for "MOW:AS 2".
Coh2 multiplayer is still the best. 5 factions replay value is unlimited. Half hardcore at nighttime 4v4 teams in auto matching is satisfying, but Half noobs in automatching ruins the team.

No you can't compare Men Of War AS@, with CoH2,, MOW AS@ is on a League of its own Level, MOWAS2 units and troops can be moved in individually, and direct-controlled. Unlike CoH2 they move in 3's Ect.

close range combat takes 30 seconds in CoH or more while in Men of War, probably only 10, because *troops know how to hit their targets*

It was developed by Massive Studios but yeah,it is the best RTS for me. (I haven't played Men of War series).
Homeworld 3, fighter screen, fighter cover, suspension disbelief, realism for large capital ship movement, and speed
