I used to play defensive doctrine all the time with my friends. They knew that if I was in their team, they would have a solid line of flak cannons. I'd make my own version of the Korean DMZ while my ally is free to go ham on the offensive.
The biggest thing I liked in this game was to open the console commands, get resources and make the fucking berlin wall combined with the north korean dmz and then spam panthers if things go south
For me the british has the best defensive infrastructure so far, their sappers can build a 25 pounder artillery, a 40mm bofors auto cannon, and a 17 pounder anti tank gun. And their infantry can build trenches and u can use command points to search the technology that their vehicle can hull down best defense for tanks and vehicles
the pak? yes pak is insane. But is countered by any arty. Its rock paper scissor so nothing is the best actually. Its an RTS. be quick, react fast, outplay your oponnent. Works vs AI too.@@pagatryx5451

The colors are very bleached/dim/greyed which I really like and makes sense since it is the largest war in history and so wasn't a very bright time. While Coh2 is simply colored without any kind of aesthetic/atmosphere to it which just makes it bland/boring. Everything feels alot 'heavier' in coh1 than in coh2 too. I wish coh2 had the same style and aesthetic that coh1 since I really wanted to play as the Soviets in coh1.
I wish the friendly AI would play defensively like I do. I love to just hunker down and defend, but the friendly AI always wants to expand expand expand. I know it's how you win, but even on victory point modes they just want to attack and attack.

@@kimtyson8197 The pintle mg gunner for German tanks is an upgrade. There should be a square shaped button on the top right of the bottom panel when you have the unit selected. It costs munitions but it makes it easier for the tank to kill infantry.

The alies team are obviously AI they go come back to the spot where half truck mortars are obviously firing and there are to many units they don't upgrade they just deploy too many units that are useless and the players know where they deploy the structures and units...
On God, every problem you encounter you solve with stukas lmao Also why so many flaks near the line of fire, they can get fucked by both snipers and mortars...

U can't put soldier at above the tank but u can put soldiers at truck
