Royal Artillery is easily the better doctrine to use in terms of competitiveness, you can deal with any situation. Royal Engineer is also a pretty good doctrine to use but it has certain weaknesses and drawbacks that are very hard to handle, so you have to 'depend' on other people to help you out. (Plus teammates kind of look down upon you if you go Royal Eng) Actually Royal Engineer is my favorite doctrine out there for Brits. I'll try and get a replay of it.
