Your instructions are so clear and easy to understand. I truly enjoy your videos, especially when I am too unwell to make things, I watch you instead. Thank you very much.
Thank you so much. I love each and every tutorial you post, and I love how you speak clearly, slowly and demonstrate everything. You are a treasure. If I want to know something, I turn to " Sew Very Easy"
Thanks Laura, you give very detailed instructions, so you are not left guessing how this finishes or how that goes together. Thank you from a novice sewer who is learning so much from you. X kind regards Lynne
Absolutely brilliant!!! I’m always knocking my thread & scissors off the arm chair while I’m hand sewing quilt binding. And, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve lost a needle ! This will solve ALL of those problems. And, it’s sew easy!!
I LOVE this!!! It is by far the most useful and versatile arm chair organizer design I’ve seen anywhere on or off the web 👏👏👏😍. Thank you so much, Laura, for sharing your brilliant crafty creations. The coffee straw thread spool holder idea is GENIUS!!!
You made this video 5 years ago, and it's still the best one on RUclips. I show people who want something like this here, mainly for the great design and easy to follow guide ... but also for that creative flair!! That thing tying the scissors with a little bow thing is so creative, I absolutely love it. Making one right now on my Singer! ♥
I have wanted to make one of these for quite a while but never found a pattern that I really liked. Now I have! I'm in my sewing room most of the time but when I'm binding a quilt by hand I sit in the living room. This will really come in handy. Thanks.
Very cute! I sit in my armchair in the evenings and do counted cross-stitch while "watching" videos on the computer. I always have my computer mouse, scissors, and needle threader sitting precariously on the arm of the chair and am always knocking them off and losing them (and I can't count the number of times I've lost a needle in the chair). This would be great to keep everything organized and within reach. I'm going to make one tomorrow.
I will be making myself one on these for my couch, then I will make one for my cousin. I really like this idea. I really enjoy your tutorials. Thank you.
I've been watching you on and off for years. You always have something I'm looking for. But right now at 35 seconds when you tied ribbon to your scissors so don't fall down the couch, we bonded. Genius! 🤣🤣🤣
Hi Laura - love love love this! I've been meaning to make myself one of these and have a couple of videos saved but I think this is by far the best. I've recently started to show my son's girlfriend how to sew, I wont go so far as to say teach, more like sharing my limited skills. She just completed her first project, a phone wallett. Think I'll persuade her to make this alongside mine. Thanks for the tutorial.
Love it. I have a friend that hand pieces and quilt. This will be a great gift for me to make for her since I am learning to machine piece and quilt. 💝
Thank you for posting video. I couldn't understand the book. You can't see a difference between the background fabric and front side. I was so confused. Got it now. 1st on I stuffed to much shells. Used batting instead of pillow stuffing. Will use pillow stuffing next.
Now I know what I'm going to give my friends in my patchwork class for Christmas 🎄 Love it was wondering if you are able to put the dimensions of the fabrics required on the screen or in the top of the comments?
Love this idea Ann's the material! I just started smocking this will great, I like the ground walnuts I need to check Amazon pet section to see if they have it,it's used for lizard cages. Look forward to making this thank you.
Here is an add on idea...sew a magnet into the piece to hold anything metalic. Pins, hem rulers, thimble. How about a slit for tissue pac? Thanks, Laura. Clear instructions, good editing.
I LOVE this project, you are such a great teacher. I have learned so much from watching your videos over the past few years. I just found an item I would love to make and wondered if you have heard of them or have plans on making them, they are called "thrifty zipper" its is a cash wallet. I would love to learn to make one.
Bonne chance.
I think this plan could be adapted to hang over a walker, just without the pincushion being on top. If you want the walker bag to be used for holding sewing supplies, just put the pincushion lower down, and make it smaller. Great tutorial, Laura!

Great idea, have a question. Instead of walnut shells, could I use rice in the center?
I don't like to use food as over time it will smell and sometimes bugs like it:)
Wonderfull idea!! Thanks for your tutorial.
I knew you had a tutorial for these. I need one in my life, this weekend perhaps 🤷🏻♀️🤞🏼
