I passed my drivers test on my first try yesterday!! Thanks for all the help I got from your videos!!! To everyone that's stressed, just study, practice and be confident. :)
Thank you so much to make this video cuz sometime to watch it so I can learn how to do this when I'm parking in between two cars so I can learn how to put it in the reverse and turn my wheel all the way to the right and then that way I can back up a little bit and then look both ways emotional cars coming and did not tell my steering wheel all the way to the left so I can ask it out without hitting somebody else's car
You have the best driving/parking videos on RUclips! Every person I've asked on when to start turning the wheel when exiting a parking spot has said it depends or says you have to feel it out .. never a clear answer, but you made it crystal clear. Thank you so much
I love the Tips! I just bought my first car and have Anxiety issues when it comes to driving, I repeat your videos as many times as I can because you do a great job of explaining and visually showing examples of what you are talking about, I saw that I needed to learn how to line myself up with the sidewalk better when parallel parking and guides helped me out, Thank you for guidance!
passed my driving test a couple days ago and am still watching these videos to help me improve my driving in all situations. theyre so helpful and straight to the point!
Today I rubbed my car against another when going backwards out of the spot. And this in my 2nd day owning the car. I feel so miserable for failing at something so simple and I think if I watched this video before, that wouldn't happen. I am never gonna do this mistake again.
This is coming from a guy who had made mistakes just like yours. That is why I have learned to rely on a spotter while doing all kinds of parking situations: parallel parking(forward & reverse), angle parking, you name it; do that when you are getting accustomed to the vehicle. Also it is vital to know the ride height of the vehicle to be sure I won't scratch up the undercarriage and when climbing over humps and dips, some driveways got a very sharp climb angle that can also scratch up the bottom edge of the bumper pretty badly too.
Found this channel the very first day I started driving 🚘 in Russia 🇷🇺 (if you know what I mean) and I so lucky and glad I did. All your videos both old and recent are keeping a young black guy outta Road troubles. Be Blessed for ever 🙏
I absolutely love this videos. Specifically when there are examples of the beginners' mistakes, because it helps visualization and I avoid them way easier. Thank you so much for putting all this tips here for free. Your students are very lucky.
Great tips!! Someone just did this to me today.I pulled up into a residential parking spot behind a lady who just kept backing up ahead of me without looking back.i had to to beep the horn to make her stop so she wouldn't smack my car.oh,I love your accent
Your videos are so crisp and to the points. As an Indian I find your accent very easy and clear. All videos of your channel are too good. Thank you for helping others.
I'm the only instructor i know of that teaches using a signal when backing. This guy also teaches it which impresses me. So far conduit facile is the best driving channel. I dont always agree but they do a good job overall.
Thanks so much for your videos. I learned lot from them before I passed my exam and really they were very helpful for me to have confidence and best control of my vehicle. I would recommend this channel for anyone who afraid or have fear of driving. it is best than any driving school and it is free, just do more practice as you learn. Thank you again! May God bless you!
You are a lifesaver. I'm studying for my driving test right now and none of the resources I've been given (online lessons, professional instruction, reading materials, etc.) have helped me with parking. The State doesn't want to tell me these tricks because they work too well.
I was thinking just that. I didn't signal while backing out of an airport parking lot, several years ago. I only checked to see that the way was clear for me to go. I'll remember to do it on my upcoming drive from the airport!
The guy saying it's not necessary to do for exams is speaking for himself. Here in Colo Spgs, we have the easiest drive test, at least one of the easiest in the U.S. since we drive for maybe 5 minutes max around a neighborhood, and not even near a school zone. He docked off two points from my exam, although I still passed. One point was docked because I failed to signal as I was pulling out from the parking slot at the very start of the exam. A second point was docked when I signaled to turn, but the signal went off on its own before I had completed the turn. One more point, and I would have failed XD
I think these videos are mostly for people who want to pass their driving test. After passing, it seems people do whatever they want including not using their signals :/
All the info you'd want to get. Doesn't leave you confused about what you've seen vs. what you've heard. Feels like it's really you driving with a good instructor.
I passed my test a few months back because of your vids but i still come here to review cause im just genuinely bad at parking lol. Your vids help a lot thanks so much!
A good rule of thumb I learned from school is when reversing out of a parking spot, reverse straight until your windshield wipers pass the rear bumpers of the car beside you. Then turn your steering wheel all the way to the right while reversing and that's it.
What I do that helps me back out of a parking spot, is that if I want to go to the right, I turn the wheel to the left. If I want to go to the left, I turn the wheel to the right. Whichever way you want to go, you turn your wheel the opposite way
Very good demonstration (although I cringe when drivers turn the wheel of a stationary vehicle!). One good tip for all drivers when backing out of a stall (or from anywhere), is to only reverse as far as is necessary! As soon as you have room in front to go forwards, stop, and go the other way. Reversing is hazardous... either back into the space to park (the safest method, which could save a child’s life), or only reverse as far as you need to.
As a sport walker who used to walk 5-10 miles per day (I walk less now) I can vouch for the use of signals whenever possible--even when the driver doesn't think it's necessary. Walkers and other pedestrians depend on drivers signaling to communicate their intentions while the pedestrian is walking through an intersection, a crowded parking lot, or against a turn. I was almost hit one afternoon when someone backed out of a parking space at my local grocery store. Amazingly, at seventy, I jumped straight into the air and pirouetted out of the way at the last instant. A couple of onlookers commented on it afterwards in the store. (It's amazing what the body can do when it thinks it's in danger!) The point? If the driver had turned the blinker on, I would have known that the vehicle was about to back out.
Exactly. The blinkers are not only to indicate to what side you're going. They're also to indicate that there's actually someone in the vehicle about to make a move, and to make the vehicle more visible.
Am learning lots from your videos compared to what i learnt from my D school. No wonder i was having problems, the tips you share here are valuable buddy. !Thanks

The first thing I found when I came to America is that people always enter their parking space by going directly in instead of reversing into it. On the contrary most people in China park by reversing into the space. I guess it might be because space here in America is always far wider, so are the lanes here.
@2:40 Okay, I learned something new today. Tight spot is always a problem in my case. Thanks. Do you have any tips on how to know if I can hit the left parking light of the vehicle in front when getting out of that tight spot?
There are many videos regarding driving, but your lessons are short, crisp and clear. Thanks

And the accent gives it extra emphasis lol

@@shambolicrhetoric6143 That's very true
this EXACT thing happened to me yesterday and im literally terrified to drive again
Lol the tricky part is when there’s another line of cars behind you, that’s why I park as far as possible of everyone and everything 💀
I do this to. When I go to Walmart I park in the back 🤣 my friends always ask me “why are we parked all the way back here?!?!”
