It was a fun run
Impractical jokers lost the chemistry when they lost Joe. They all knew how to get under each other’s skin. The guest stars don’t have the same knowledge to mess with everyone and are also free from consequence mostly. I think some of the excitement would be brought back if the guest became an actual member for the episode and could themselves be punished. Without that, it feels like watching them do a game with immunity so the stakes don’t feel like they’re as high. The stakes is what makes impractical jokers fun: trying to get someone to take a loss knowing it could mean the overall loss, and the guest being safe sorta feels like someone in a group that’s half assing commitment to the game.

The sad thing is that, when you think about it, Impractical Jokers have become soo unfunny after Joe's departure that the new stuff aren't funny anymore and so we are getting old reruns to amuse us at all.

thank you! every time someone writes about joe, i cringe. he made his own choice to leave. its like telling the poster they owe it to people they don't know to never make a big decision in their life. its been 2 years. i hate to see how these people handle a real life break up.

these guys were funny for a little while until they got full of themselves, then it just became obnoxious and annoying, then you realize how unfunny and boring they actually are.
