I ran into the same problem, after a while, I switched the left and right cables to each other (I use 6.5mm jacks), also I switch left & right speakers to each other, the problem solved. I think this happens because the suppose-to-be left speaker has no separate power supply, so it would give less power
Yeah, I'm having the same issue. The failure comes and goes. I've managed to temporarily "fix" it by disassembling / reassembling the speakers, swapping to RCA and back (like in this video), boosting the speaker volume, and swapping the direction of the left speaker cable. Of course none of those things were real fixes as the problem comes back. It would be helpful to know what part is failing or if there's a reliable work around, as the speakers are out of warranty. So far I haven't found a part I can jiggle that causes the issue.
If you have this problem, move the cable away from the other cables, I put it suspended in the air and this problem disappeared for me. It is not necessary to change the connection, I had the problem in both connections. The problem seems to be the interference that is created in the cable if you keep it close to the other cables.
No dude it was faulty its not a guitar input (same jack yes) there trs stereo inputs 1 was faulty they was working fine for a week before hand i got refunded
Mine keep turning off and going into power saving mode if the volume is too low. They the most irritating monitors I have ever owned and I don't suggest them to anyone. F*** Alesis.
Maybe if it was a trs input the speaker was faulty it was working initially so yeah 🤷♂️ and believe it or not you can use standard jacks in trs inputs regardless 😉
I have the same problem thank you for letting us know of the rca connection. That however does work. Thank you. Have a good day.

What about the cable that connects from the right speaker to the left speaker? That interconnection cable?
Yes thats right it connects left speaker to amplified slave speaker

I returned mine as they were around a month old sorry for late reply I have no solutions myself
The cable that comes with it isn't powerful enough to push anything worth pushing. Use a fatter cable like a guitar or pa cable and boom
explain yourself better please. I just got theese speakers and want to know what's the best connection to use. Thanks.

I too have the same speakers for my dj set up *tight budget, gotta start somewhere* but yeah I only use RCA cables not encountered any issues there.
As opposed to a PA system? Or a tower setup? or a 5.1? What else do you expect him to use? Idiot.
