100%. sorry its been so slow. Ive actually re coded RA Control from the ground up which is why its taking so long but im currently pretty close to an all formats version of the host. including downloadable presets too. thanks for being so patient.

Haaa! I bought mine because I spotted yours in the intro of one of your videos. I played detective, hunting out SSL Midi Control.
Best controller I’ve ever had!!! Hands down!
Mathew is the shit. I’ve had him respond within < half an hour of a support request. Always has an answer.
I highly recommend midi mode. I’ve got the greatest set up going in Reaper using realearn.
Cool. I'm a Reaper user also and use CSI(Control Surface Integrator) and Micro4k in MIDI mode. Works like a charm once you have things mapped out.
hahha yea last couple of videos I've been sneaky with it in footage foreshadowing it. I was curious if anyone would catch it, one video I purposely had it as like the first show for this reason haha, glad you're liking it, it is sooooo slickkkk.
Not discontinued…they keep updating it. And have to sell in batches due to limited supply.
I looked at this....currently trialing the SSL UC1 ;-)
The UC1 is a lovely piece of kit. its quite a lot more expensive than our controller though :) but still very nice. Their 360 link software has taken a lot of ideas from our Host Mode like mapping. I'm happy to see a large company take inspiration from tiny little Rocksolid Audio :) But when host Mode and RA Control is finished it going to have a lot of tricks up its sleeve that 360 link will never be able to do... like 3rd party controller integration. An unrivalled downloadable map integration along with a lot more stuff I cant really say.

I'm working hard on the Software side at present but an "American" style channel strip is something we wanna make for sure
@@RocksolidAudioEngland that’s great! Everything I see is always based on SSL stuff. Don’t get me wrong I like it but my main preference is API.
We do have another controller too. It's a generic layout. Called Micro 3
I like it a lot too. Only complaints are that tiny cable it comes with. Eagerly awaiting a Sonoma update.
It works in Sonoma already :) ooh and your right the cable is too small. let me explain why though :) We are a company that likes no waste and we are aware that most of the time the cable provided doesn't get used. People most of the time end up using a cable they have bought that fits there system better. so we provide a short one just for testing that's long enough for on the fly mixing.
@@RocksolidAudioEngland I'm talking about Host Mode but I see you're working on it. Thank you. I appreciate that you guys want no waste as I'm on the same page. I believe that shipping with a cable that is not practical for most uses actually creates more waste as it has for me. Most people I've talked to would rather have a proper cable shipped with it (and charged accordingly) or none at all as long as it's specified. That way when we order a Micro 4k we can order the proper cable and be up and running when the controller arrives instead of finding out the cable it's shipped with is too short. I think the key is just communicating that on your site so we know what to expect. Thanks.
I picked up the Micro4k (Micro 3 is also one you can get with a different layout). Mouse mode wasn't an option for me as I like to be able to use more than one knob at a time. I'm using Reaper as my DAW and use CSI(Control Surface Integrator) and after mapping out a few of the channel strips I have, I haven't looked back. IF only their beta software they show in their videos was an option, but never did get that working after contacting customer service. They were quick to respond but I ended up going with CSI instead.
Just a heads up. Ra control and Mouse mode can control 2 knobs at a time now. We improved the code so it's super fast. It works best with scroll.
I can not confirm the good support. I had an issue in cubase 12 with the micro 3 controller. They were not very interested to really help me.

That sounds awesome. What companies does this work for with you so far? I see a lot of PA stuff. Have you tried it with UAD, KIT or Acustica plugins?
In Mouse Mode it'll work on any plugin in a window as long as the plugin has a static user interface. What I mean by that is. if youv'e ever used Fab Filter pro Q. when you move the frequency knob it slides left and right depending on the frequency. Mouse mode wont work on this kind of plugin because the element keep moving. Other than that it'll work on just about anything. Any window with any control in it that's static. Not just music programs. You could use it to change the volume in Spotify if you so wanted. Midi Mode its dependent on your music programs midi mapping capabilities. but its pretty flexible. When Host mode is finally finished it control any plugin you want and have downloadable maps aswell. so theres lots of options :)
I've stuck to plugins with fixed control like channel strips, analog emulations because of how the control system works at this time and was my goal for more broad stroke analog gear type of control, it didn't work with say parametric EQ's like PRO-Q3 to well because the frequency is a floating system but a parametric EQ with fixed controls like Avid's EQ or PreSonus stock EQ seemed fine when I tested it out.

I stand corrected. Wasn't a function when I first used RA Control mouse mode. I'll stick with CSI for now till the official release of RA Control with the functionality they show in their videos.
@@jakeman1968 :) Yes we improved mouse mode a lot in Ra Control 1.5 +. I'm looking over CSI, are you using this with your Controller ? For midi control ? Which mode are you waiting for ? Mouse and midi mode in RA Control are now full release. I'm just now trying to finish Host mode.
