Jack Sock is 31 years old. I don’t think he is taking his 2nd career as seriously. He could improve his backhand quickly if he really put the work in between tournaments.
In tennis his backhand was very weak. He was athletic enough to get around it. The way pickleball is set up, he can't do it quite as much. Even with a ton of drilling it still wouldn't be great

There's two reasons we tuck the skirt - in rec play it's usually to hold a ball in the shorts more easily. Most women will tuck it so the fabric doesn't get in the way of our serve or hitting the ball. I've missed a few serves because my hand hit the fabric of the skirt and threw me off.
I meant to comment on the last video and I actually planned to send you guys a message because Chris Patrick is possibly one of the worst person in Picklball. When I first got into Pickleball and I was playing a ton of tournaments at the lowest possible level, I made some comments online about the quality of the PPA tour. A bunch of things I saw playing at a bunch of different locations, including the Masters, were very concerning. Chris Patrick called me and basically tried to convince me that my perception was wrong and tried to get me to retract my statements. I was a 3.0 player in my mid 30s and this sad human was so disturbed by my relatively respectful feedback that he needed to call me. He wasn't even technically hired by the PPA at that time but he was doing their bidding even at the beginning. As far as this podcast, I'm so glad that you guys decided to go deep into the email scandal because you are spot on. Collin and Ben haven't been winning consistently at all this year. So he must be the bottom tier player he's referring to since Ben cannot consistently win with him. Keep up the good work guys !!

I think the yelling/screaming over the net staring at your opponents is disrespectful and should be a fault of some sort. Even in the NFL when you light a guy up and then stand over him it’s a taunting/unsportsmanlike penalty. If you want to scream and yell, turn away from the net towards your team and do it.

PB refs should just do the same. Crappy cameras provide crappy instant replays. Until the cameras get better, which is soon I hear, “the call on the court stands.”

Per your podcast Colin said it wasnt fair for Ben to play with lower level players. If you are using that as an excuse why aren't Ben and Colin winning their doubles matches? If he doesn't like the MLP why is he playing in it? No one is forcing his hand. I know when I am playing I gladly take the weaker the player to motivate me to play my best. That makes the win so much sweeter. I have never liked Ben and Colin. They are boring to watch and the only excitement you get is Colin crying about the balls hitting off the net or Ben whining about the way the ball bounced. News flash you are all playing with the same ball. I could be wrong but I believe their days as a top team is coming to a close. Imagine Ben playing with Riley N. What a nasty team that would be.

I would kind of like to see PPA force players to mix it up more with partners . Maybe cap how many times in a year they can play with a partner. Collin showed he’s just a jerk and didn’t like that he showed his ass out there .

food for thought, if they want to make indoor pickleball more popular, have all the PPA/MLP tournaments indoor. I like it way better.
